Loved this, music in this genre reminds me of my earlier years chasing groups like this as I followed the bluegrass/soft country rock circuit....AND...can't count the times I was told: "I'm going straight to hell"!!!!!!!

This keeps cropping up in my memory banks.... Kitt tried to roll his eyes, but the smile that tugged at his mouth made it useless. He stepped onto the bus and looked back just once—Matt in his hoodie, hair a mess, grin bright enough to cut through the early-morning haze. The doors hissed shut. Kitt leaned his forehead briefly against the cool glass, watching as Matt jogged across the lot toward his car, waving one last time before the bus pulled away. The sun was just beginning to climb, soft gold spilling across the road. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Why then does Matt take the bus back? The bus waited with its doors open, engine rumbling. “You ready to go back?” Matt asked, rocking on his heels. As with others, and my aged brain can work slowly, but early this morning, as I was ruminating on this latest chapter, and it came to mind that Jacy seemed to be inordinately interested (absorbed?) with the collection whilst Killian was engaged with the Mrs...

I can’t disagree with this comment above, and want to reinforce that in all my bitching and moaning, it is because of the author’s skill and talent, that he draws such a visceral reactions from me. And I need to note this was one of the best chapters yet.

Forgot to comment on Seth and Kate’s mother, that cancer is particularly horrible, and while I have no love for her, or what she is and did, I can only hope that as her time ends, that she has the time to reflect understand the harm she is responsible for.

One of your best chapters yet…packed full of valuable information… We are reminded that a lich can be killed, yet in Arlo’s case it isn’t so easy. So difficult that many gods are willing and trying to understand what the lich has that makes it so difficult to destroy it. We learn that when Arlo’s time comes, if he is a follower of Densa, he will return to the place his earlier vision showed him. All of this makes me wonder, what is the endgame of the lich that has Arlo’s fate? To become a god, perhaps?

Perhaps We Willie will see the light while he’s getting a swirly in the boys bathroom…just sayin… It’s a shame in his case stupid is forever…

Oh what tangled webs have been woven. It would appear that Killian has relationships like his driving….fast and all over the place. How good are Killian and Jacy as climbing out of Bathroom windows??

The day draws near, forces are gathering to end evil’s reign will they have the forces necessary to defeat Septimus?
