I think the issue here is what I alluded to previously...while I am warming up to Russ, we all forget that because he is wealthy, most folks in any sort of relationship, business or otherwise, are looking to see how they can leverage that into what or how it could possibly benefit them...Simply put...it isn't Russ most are interested in, but his position in life... Now knowing that, Russ has found the sort of folks who could give a fig about that sort of stuff, quite the opposite, he's out of his depth. Like any healthy relationship, friendship, or business relationship, boundaries need to be set, expectations laid out and understood... I think with the e mail that will be sent, will provide the foundation moving forward...

Oh my goodness...I am believing to think we've pretty much hit the bottom of the barrel here, if not...pretty close to it and there just has to be the beginning of the climb to destroying Calvin in court...

I am voting for either one of the scenarios as depicted above....just saying, that and the 'smoking gin' just may have been found...

Love the fact the pirates are going to find out they have been...pirated!!! Let's hope Tenki is going to be ok... Tenki shoved his way into the midst of the gang, swiping and pummeling with his brutal lightning club. Then a shock of pain exploded in his side, as one of the pirate’s daggers managed to slip between his prosthetic armor plating. Tenki screamed like a tornado and raged against his enemies.

And one thing I just don't get, if the veil between the Fae, Shifters, and the humans is so thin and in danger of being exposed, what isn't Cassel's father more involved...lazy slob is what he is... The Fae prince frowned. “I do not think it is wise to go back there. Huntington will have increased his traps now that he does not have Asa. Going back is suicidal.” Caleb deflated in his seat. There had to be something they could do to ensure their success. “Can you suggest anything that might give us the advantage?” Cassiel’s eyes narrowed as he pondered the question. “I will send you one of the pixies. They are experts at creating mischief and havoc.” He winked. “I will withhold that information from my father. He was upset that I allowed the dryads to inhabit your territory and promised a contingency of pixies for battle, but I convinced him it was to protect our realm.”
