Well now, if Janek isn't the one of his dreams, shouldn't Marc not be leading him on, or at least have a healthy discussion considering they are tossing the 'L' word around...hope a messy ending isn't in store for Janek...or Marc doesn't succumb to an ankle biter....

One door closes and another door will open, Matt has a quandary to navigate. I would seem as if going home to see 'mother' is not a choice, and the path back to Windy Island is always a consideration. I suspect Matt may spend a few days in Turkey to sightsee before heading back towards Scotland...

Here in Central Massachusetts, we are under a tropical heat wave with temps from the low 80's to mid-90's and expected temps to reach a real-feel temp of 100 tomorrow. Humidity, and I need to remember it isn't the heat but the stupidity @Summerabbacat..., in the 70 plus range. Spoke with my neighbor farmer yesterday and he told me his dog was chasing the cat...both were lying down... I just loved the slow burn of this chapter and the character development... @Andr0gene, were you leading me on about Ch 21...I just laid in an extra box of tissues and freshly washed bath/shower towels... Well, in Europe, where I live, we're in heat, we're hot, we're simmering, we're smoldering, it's quite warm.

An interesting chapter and yes, the boys were reckless...Devin especially so...the boys need to learn that sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. That sometimes taking into consideration that other people's feelings and concerns need to be respected...talk about rude and immature... “And Devin and I are going to do this,” I stated firmly while looking directly at my mom.

Another chapter that had me totally delighted...and the bonus was even though I was laughing so hard, I was able to keep dry!!! No trip to Mr. Washing Machine for me!!!

I have to think that rather than a serial monogamist, Donald Mitchel was an exploiter, not only for his art but his peccadillos... It was not a remarkable story; two men, one experienced, the other naïve and inexperienced. For one it was a pleasant diversion and a means to an end; Donald Mitchell seems to have been what Mother calls a serial monogamist. True to the current person, but liable to change. Greg, however, was the focus of Mitchell’s intense artistic scrutiny as well. This created expectations that Mitchell had neither ability nor intention to fulfil. The result was some fine art and one fucked-up kid. -
Another classic from our very talented author, in this tale we get to visit a new world full of possibilities. A richly described story of love, one can only hope to revisit sometime in the near future!!!

Truly delightful and such a sweet story about love!!! And the understanding that deep feelings need room to grow and not forced like a hothouse flower.... I want better for Derek, he decided then and there. I want him to be happy. And then he was filled with surprise at his very own thoughts. Happiness was not something one could command. It could be given, yes. Or, the basis for it could be given. But the feeling itself? It must come from within, not without. So the question became, how to have Derek make his own happiness, while also allowing Kieron to share in it?

A very imaginative tale and as noted above, it seems like another chapter(s) should follow. Thoroughly enjoyable!!!

Not my scene at all but enjoyed the dynamics of this story and as @Mancunian and others pointed out, love is love for all of us who comprise a world of many flavors...well done and I do have a thought as to who the author is by a clue that described a location...
