Thank you for this story, fantastic conception, well done, written, and had me like so many others hooked me from the get-go!!! Only other comment I could make is....mmmmm cake!!!

The comment by CincyKris hits the nail squarely on the head....

Well, not to say the task is daunting, so to speak... I looked at Chronos. “I think my brother can find him if I help him. I found my tether with him again, and he has the closest connection to Mark. It has to work.” “Love is powerful. It is a magic that not even Constructs rule over,” Chronos said. “It could work.”

Dang you @weinerdog, I was sooo gonna use that quote, it's almost like messing with the Squirrel's nuts.... And BTW @Arch Hunter...thank you for gracing these pages with your works!!! Oh, and thank you for your ongoing and overwhelming support. I don't know what I'd do without you guys 🥰. Recent events reminded me that nothing can be taken for granted and to appreciate every single day. I'll do my best to remember it.

Simply can't say it any better, this was a marvelous chapter!!!

Me too...now where do I find that secret key???

Hummm, some interesting informational tidbits are coming to light here, could they possibly be...

I could never get past that the Minister For/From Wanking was a prat of the highest order....When the sequel appears I'm sure somehow, somewhere he just might pop up.... Morris-Walker waited to comment until we were in the basement at the bottom of the stairs leading to the loading level. “I knew our time together would now come to an end, Jamie, but that you will work for Chief-Inspector Mwangi is disappointing.” I chuckled. “Minister, do I detect a hint of jealousy?” He climbed the stairs with more vigour than I’d thought possible after the exhaustion he had displayed a short while earlier. “Maybe I have grown more fond of you during our time together, Jamie, but do not overstretch it.” “Yes, Minister.” Walking behind him, I rolled my eyes. And as @CincyKris so eloquently pointed out the following only reenforces my distain for the arrogant SOB.... I don't think I've ever read a more complete characterization of inherited arrogance. RMW will go to his grave knowing he is justified in all his decisions due to his birthright. This is the attitude that conquered nations in the age colonialism, alive and well in modern times. His type will never change.

Thank you for sharing this with us, poignant, bittersweet, and thoughtful!!!

Treachery be the guile whims of the fairer sex... As to where the boys will end up, I have a guess... "Somewhere far away, at the end of the world, lies Bewitched Land. There, the sun does not rise and the moon does not shine with its glow. It is the dark land of the dreaders. Whoever finds Bewitched Land will find his own death too. Thus not a soul can tell us about this place, gruesome and mean."

I'm stunned that after the small penis comments and the meeting in chambers with Judge Crustypants that no further action or court ordered discipline was forthcoming....could it possibly be that Billy had a new home remedy for the ailment known as stickstuckupyourasssideways??? Other than that, Billy played everything just right, what is the old saw...give a person enough rope, and they will hang themselves??? Attorney Clark clearly isn't the brightest bulb in the legal office storeroom....I suspect the remaining bulbs were missing from that four-pack... Quite frankly @Mattyboy from what I am reading the only folks guilty of malpractice are Attorney Clark and Judge Crustypants... If by some obscure, remote chance Billy loses this case, he wins on appeal...as to Calvin disappearing with the boys in such an event, let's not lose sight that Bryan is more than capable of escaping from Calvin's clutches... Let's not forget that there is a rich history of Diego of caring, loving the boys. Bringing them up in a healthy...stable environment!!! Steve videoing the 'smoking' incident with Caleb in the car is just another tip in the proverbial iceberg...

Well, the old saw that the wheels of justice turn slowly does not apply here!!! Set out some extra bed linen and fluff up a few more pillows!!!

Agree with the comments above, and what became/happened with Arthur???

While running the gauntlet called meet the relatives seemed to work just fine, I wonder about Isobel Bonner, might she be a source of funding for the restoration of the 'artwork"??

Still it would be very interesting to 're-discover' one or two of these wrecks!!!

Understatement of the decade...and proof stupidity reigns supreme... This is getting worse by the moment...

My kind of Cliffie...

I'd like to see that bus driven by Kathy Bates from the movie Misery....

Well with a phone booth or a porta potty available at any nearby galaxy rest stop, why waste the space???

I can remember a TV series similar to this story called Kyle XY. To a point this story mirrors that show, at least in the beginning. One defining characteristic was that Kyle XY had no belly button....and it begs the question.... And talk about a craptastic day that was a total shitshow....

The following has me intrigued and worried, along with everything else that happened prior to overhearing the conversation... “I don’t think it’s funny...” Connor stopped. He looked down the hall, but couldn’t see M. That was his laugh though. It floated down the hallway and Connor tensed up. Who was he talking to? “Oh… Has this place ruined you already? How do you know so much about revenge?” the boy’s voice was soft but Connor could hear the amusement in it. He was definitely talking to someone. “Well don’t do it again. He says he’s missing memories… He was inside that house…”

If you were going to go to the house, I would have taken Jack with me. So kissing brought on another seizure, dear lord and for gosh's sake...take it slow!!

Can't disagree, I thought this chapter was brilliant and cleverly written, now...here's an idea...what if Carl gets hit by a bus...full of nuns???

It may be time to reach out to Elethon and acquire the services of the Stealth Witch...it is well past time to put a hurtin on some of these bastards...

Well, here's hoping they get to the girls in time, hopefully they have enough info to lay the groundwork for catching the perps!!
