Snave was standing in the corner of the bedroom. I'm pretty sure I put him there, and it's not in the story line for him to go and wander off! Haha. TELLING authors to write sequels to certain stories is a lot different than having them inspired to do it on their own! Oh Geron, that would be a bumpy road to traverse...

Well, this was one action packed chapter, Urvan is not one to be taken lightly. One has to wonder what it is about Prince Sedwick that has the dark mage so enthralled, it has to be more than just simple beauty. I suspect there is some latent unrealized power/ability within the Prince that makes him a target. I'm just finding it difficult to believe it is simply lust on the part of Urvan. Let's not forget to give credit to Gavin, Snave, or Flitch either... As to wood/would... There was a man with wood Who would work with his wood On each rainy day The man would say 'Oh, how I love firm wood!'

One of the great things about Gay Authors is the vast multitude of differing stories, we readers, are privileged to read and comment on. While it can pain me at times, some of the reactions that such stories engender in me, it is a testament to the author's work, that provokes me so. And I find myself not just provoked as some of my earlier comments would indicate, but thoroughly frustrated, not with one or two, but with all the players in this story. It is like reading a cross between Peyton Place and Dynasty (feel free to insert your favorite TV shows here) on steroids. I'm seriously struggling to find at least a scintilla of redemption in anyone of these bozos. I suppose Seth of all the inhabitants in Dysfunctionville has a chance. I'd give Roni marks as well, as to the rest...nada, zilch, zippo, fagettaboutit! Where to start...I may not get to everyone, there's only so much time in the day... Mommy dearest, who in the f*$k does she think she is fooling????? It's four days shacked up with Mr. I've Think I've A Big One. If Lost Wages were to carry odds on this story, what odds would be given that he's married??? She's playing Seth with her comments about the See Ya Next Tuesday creature, who masquerades as his sister. One can only hope on bended knees, that the soon to be introduced Aunt and Uncle will call her on her BS!!! Speaking of Stacy, I still think she's gonna have a pregnancy scare.... The cafeteria table mates at the Pandering Palace of anything but education...Vapid is the best I can come up with any of them... Amber...talk about hot/cold...is it possible menopause can come that early? The adults in Blake's life...while is is a sad truism in today's world, healthcare, especially mental healthcare, there are resources available if you put a bit of effort in. At least find a support group like PFLAG, as caretakers they are borderline criminally negligent...And Blake, clearly he needs someone to simply listen to him and he needs to listen also... The Asswaffle known as Craig...Jail, incarceration will be too good for him, testicular removal via the dull scissors of a swiss army knife, would be a good place to start... Not that I have any strong feelings one way or another....but...

Diego why did you settle for an attorney you don't have faith in??? Bryan has taken one of many important steps...and a very dangerous one backwards with Calvin, what is his game plan??? There can't be anything of value the ex wife had, unless she is in line to inherit something of value...

I was hard pressed to choose one of a number of choice bits...but this one had me bolting upright from my chair as Gatorade Zero spurted from my nose....another great chapter!!! ‘Dude. I’m not that pissed. I know that not everybody is as open-minded as we are, so I know you gotta be cautious. I’m just saying, I got your back, you know?’ ‘You’re gonna make me cry, Robbie,’ I said. ‘Yeah, and now I’m going to make you scream.’ He bent forward and planted a hasty kiss on my forehead. I sat bolt upright. Rob wiped his mouth reflexively and burst out laughing. ‘What the fuck was that?’ I said, gasping. ‘Just telling you I love you, man,’ he said, and smiled the evil genius smile he was so accomplished at. ‘As a brother. Dude, your skin is softer than I imagined. Are you moisturising or something?’

Loved this chapter, one of the best yet, had me reaching for the tissues a couple of times... AND...from the mouths of babes...how to melt anyone's heart... “Hello, Grandmother and Grandfather. My name is Peter and I never had a Grandmother or Grandfather. I hope you will like me because I would like to be your grandson.”

Let's hope for fair seas and calm winds...I do seem to recall the dirty rotten scoundrels blowing a yacht or two and now a hotel, they need to be made to pay, with large helpings of humiliation and embarrassment...

If the first two chapters portend what the next 34 will bring, we're in for one heck of a ride. This tale is rich in nuances, complexities, and a richness of descriptions that create a marvelously believable universe that stands as an equal to your other works and worlds. I guess that's a complicated way to say this is as good as it gets Geron... As the good @drpaladin noted, it may appear that the Master has set the boys on journey as it was alluded in the first chapter, when he found and brought Garvin home, that there was some sort of special link between Jamie and Gavin... I think that part of that link is the love both feel for each other and the inherent, essential goodness Jamie has when he sets the rules moving forward with Snave, sort of, at first...do no harm...and if you have to, clean up any messes promptly... @Ivor Slipper and @weinerdog, I'm tossing this one into the mix of song choices...

From the desk of one of Gay Authors great authors comes another classic tale of loss, love, duplicitous bosses, and an awaiting future, is the latest enthralling offering from Libby Drew. A fantastic tale packed in 11 chapters, this one has it all. I mean...how can you go wrong with settings like this... Outside, the rain had yet to let up. A betting man might say it was coming down even harder than before. He sheltered the bags as best he could with his jacket and made a break for the truck. The door swung open a few seconds before he reached it, and he flung himself up into the cab, handing the bags over as he slammed the door behind him. Water dripped down the back of his neck, making him shiver. “Damn. I hate cold, wet Aprils.” “Aren’t cold, wet Aprils a given in Pennsylvania?” Eric asked around a mouthful of fries. Michael rolled his eyes and reached for his seat belt. “You seriously couldn’t wait until we drove the two blocks to your place?” “Dude, I’m starving.” Eric groped unapologetically in the bag for another handful. “Don’t begrudge me a little appetizer.”

A great finishing chapter, and a worthy HEA, well done and thanks!!!! Gotta love lines like the following...brought such a smile to my face...Thank you!!! Outside, the rain had yet to let up. Another great chapter, loved the interplay between Chris, Cal and his father. More importantly I appreciate the I'm sorry you feel this way, to Priscilla...Queen of the bimbos...I would not have been so reticent. My reply would of used some version of "See ya next Tuesday" ... Matt is a stand-up brother and I'm sure others in the family will follow his lead...I get the feeling that he's equally pissed, if not more, at his "so called father"... As with every chapter there are language/dialogue bits that just stand out...that and an author's inadvertent (???) shameless self promotion...hey...I'm cutting some slack here... ‘You know just how to charm a guy. Are we like living in a romance novel right now?’ ‘If that’s so, I’m not sure if I want to hug the author for bringing us together or kick him in the nuts for all the kak he's put us through.’ ‘Welcome to my relationship with God,’ I said. ‘My mom actually said that God wasn’t so much good or evil but a writer with deadlines, and that all this shit happens because he’s got to keep the story interesting.’ ‘I’ll give you something interesting,’ he said, and grabbed my hand and stuffed it down his boxers. *********************************** 'Was it worth it?' I asked. 'Are you all a band of World Cup winning brothers now? Should John Williams write the soundtrack for the documentary or are we going more for a Hans Zimmer vibe?' 'I don't know,' he said, stifling a yawn, 'but I know two things: one, you're hilarious, and two, I fuckin' missed you so bad.' 'Your dick certainly missed me, that's for sure,' I said, reaching down to give him a little pat there. 'Thank god we were in the shower, because that was the biggest load I've ever seen. I swear, you could use that for jet propulsion in space or something. Cum propulsion.' 'Fuckin' hell, Seven of Mine,' he snorted. 'Maybe that's why we call it the Milky Way.'

This happened to me once, then I woke up.... Garvin came closer, looked at the locked doors of the kindling box with something akin to wonder. "If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it." He grinned. "Jamie, that was as fast and as neat as the Master could do his own self." He came a little closer, looked about the narrow back alley, and leaned in to give Jamie a fond kiss. As their lips touched there was a crack of small lightning, and both boys were flung in opposite directions. Jamie landed flat on his back, dazed, his mouth feeling as though it had been kicked by a wild horse. It took him a moment before he could sit up. When he did, it was to see Garvin laying on his back a short stone's throw away.

This chapter was well worth waiting for, simply superb writing hitting the highs and lows...loved the following line, had me busting out laughing... ‘So I’m Luke, and my dad is Vader, and this is my Empire Strikes Back moment… except this time Vader says to Luke “I am NOT your father”’?' ‘Oh shit. That’s… dark. Brilliant, but dark.’

Trent met his just deserved reward, now if only a goblin could be set upon the boys father...who is the girl and where is she from??? Run Simon...run!!!

I had just started reading Carlos' work and like many others stunned at the news. Gay Authors is so much richer with the talent and work he shared. Somewhere out in the multiverse Carlos is writing and riding. RIP Carlos

The visual imagery in this chapter was spot on and truly set the mood. Pete certainly set Michael straight, hopefully the lesson learned sticks!!!

Communication remains an issue... This hero needs shoes.” “There’s a small town you might reach in the afternoon, if you keep walking at the pace you are.” Valrinda cocked his head. “Or we could reach it in an hour if you rode on my back.” “If… I… rode on your back. Are you saying that was even an option?” “Sure, if you want to. Most humans are too scared to fly. And you said you were walking in the vision, so I didn’t think I should offer when you didn’t ask earlier.” “I didn’t think you could carry me!” “Me, carry you? You’re tiny, and I’m Valrinda the amazing! Of course I can carry you.”

Turds being the salient theme of the word...or so they say...😁
