He's gonna get caught out as his running times will expose him...might be best to break or lose the watch, and hope Tomas returns...

An interesting beginning and an interesting premise, with a hint or foreshadowing of a deeper mystery.. One afternoon while running along a one of his favorite ridge trails, he saw a bright flash of light east of the school campus, followed by a mild percussion that swept through the surrounding areas. Returning to the campus, the entire school was abuzz. Rumors ran rampant. Had it been a nuclear experiment gone wrong at Lawrence Livermore Lab; or some kind of UFO phenomenon the government was keeping ‘hush, hush’. And then the mystery boy Tomas shows up and leaves us with the following... Tomas explained,”you are going through a change and I am here to help you with the transition.”

I'm calling BS on this...no excuse covers or explains this at ALL!!! I didn’t know what to do after Craig left. I knew I had crossed a dangerous line. I should have been more aggressive in getting him to stop. But I’m gay. And when a hot guy that you’ve wanted for years shoves his cock in your face, I acted instinctively. For me it is a toss up as to who at the moment, is the biggest A-Hole ...Stacy, Craig, or Seth...

Chapter 10 - Ronging, Part Two
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 10 - Ronging, Part Two
Wouldn't be easier if Ronging simply took what he needed from his fellow companions in the Gunge?? -
What was responsible for this... It was Harakin’s symbol. It was flickering and slowly rotating, and it bore a similar appearance to her luminous blades.

I pity the man who abused David at the airport, and what became of his parents, will GG be of help answering those questions? Thank goodness Ronnie was there at the airport...

Rafe's motto/mantra should be..."Revenge is a dish best served cold"...Think Sonny Corleone in the Godfather as he went thru the tollbooth...

Chapter 4 - Off The Beaten Path
drsawzall commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 4 - Off The Beaten Path
Wow...simply wow...Then there's Gus, what can I say about him that everyone knows, and the same for Josh, Sam and Tammy. This was an emotional chapter, and despite all the crap in Ben's life, and those who did him harm, it truly stuck out to me that the essential goodness that we humans can share, was so prevalent in this chapter... I don't trust/like the landlord...drinking at that time of day...the man's a pig and I worry for Ben living in that hellhole...- 22 comments

Chapter 3 - Days Like This
drsawzall commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 3 - Days Like This
I needed to go back and reread the first two chapters before diving into this one and I concur with the comments above, I found the following two snippets to be powerfully evocative along with the rest of the story The bedeviling deep within trying to burst out wasn’t some alien from another planet, or the anxiety itself. It was the simple truth of my nightmare existence, my anguish that wants to come out. The pain, the fears, the insecurities I’ve kept buried deep inside. It desperately wished to be set free, and it took all my willpower to keep it trapped, hidden, and buried. To share those deep dark secrets, those ghosts in the closet simply could not be allowed. It wasn’t safe. I've, like many others find Gavin to be a Saint and hopefully he's there as the transition Ben is about to go thru discombulates his life, I get the sense it ain't gonna be easy... “No, it’s not. I’ll get everything settled with Sheila, don’t worry. Just call that number on the card you’ll get Kelly, my assistant, and she’ll set up your next appointment, okay?” “Thanks,” I said as I got up. “You’re worth saving, Ben, I know a couple of people I’ve worked with before who would agree as well and you haven’t met them. Yet anyway. Call Kelly, we’ll see each other soon,” He said with a small smile. Well done!!!!- 24 comments

Well there you go...two great mysteries of the American southwest explained and solved with some clever ingenuity and prescient investing... If I remember correctly, Mac lost two siblings in horrific accidents and as I noted before, where in the F&Ck was the legal beagles and the lawsuits for wrongful deaths, insurance companies pay out handsome sums for such eventualities...If Mac's parents didn't explore that avenue...shame on them... Now...if only we were told one of the grandfathers spent time in Roswell New Mexico or what is now known as Area 51, we could have the answers to two more intrigues...

Chapter 3 - Gunge, Part One
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 3 - Gunge, Part One
I would believe that Ronging is the former Principal Messiah's brother....and the craving they can't ignore is the need for more Mantis Glands... That's all I got other than... -
Chapter 2 - Tisa & the Witch, Part One
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 2 - Tisa & the Witch, Part One
Could not have said it any better tho I am wondering, if there is to be any hope for this world, how the denizens of the first two books, and those described below, pull off the miracle that's needed...until then I am hoping for the meteor to make an appearance... “There is a child who is the inverse of you,” stated the witch. “The child is trapped.” Her wings lowered, and the voice that came from her continued, “Then the I must do that thing which the I has always avoided because the I was afraid. The I must see the time that the I has forever refused to look into, and in so doing, reveal all the truth of the universe to the self.” The witch sighed. “And the I will be one.” -
Chapter 1 - Sumi & Harakin, Part One
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Sumi & Harakin, Part One
The Messiah's, difficult as it would seem, are not the only things beyond redemption. We'll be learning of the different societies that inhabit this planet, suffice to say it may be too late to wish upon a giant meteor to do the same as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs on earth... Perhaps life/evolution needs a fresh start on this forsaken world... -
