  1. Sometimes it just a case of right person in the right place. When you can sympathize like the cameraman did, you can be moved to help. Too bad empathy isn't something everyone has. Thanks for reading.
  2. Well, I finally read this Val. It was all new to me. I enjoyed Thanksgiving, but could have done without the cancer part. It's hit too close to home, having lost friends and family in three months or less from the date of discovery. The story was sweet and left me happy. However, I wouldn't object to more of these two.
  3. I can't make out more than vague shapes with the left. Depending on the right eye. Thanks for the review Dad. Doing my best. Glad you liked the story.
  4. “How does he always know what to say?” Teddy looked at Bruno, then turned his attention back to Chris. “Have you met him?” Bruno laughed and shook his head. “For the new kid to the show, he knows more than most of the rest. Chris likes to study everything. He can probably tell you the history of every character in the show. And then there are his personal interests.” Teddy stood amazed as he listened to Chris, going point by point, fact to fact, about a dozen different topics. Cindy As

    Tail to Tell

It seems you are enjoying my tales, Jeff. I do love Disney, and remember the movie and song well. My anthology entries seem to entice a reader to ask for more. I've learned to not say never, but ask that each story be looked at as a complete tale of its own. I'm glad you liked Triton and Marcus. The story allowed me to play with the Greek myths, which is a great playground. Thanks for the comments. Wayne

    Chapter 1

Jeffery, I'm always happy when someone enjoys something I've written. I've come back to characters before. Nice to know you enjoyed it more than once. Wayne
  8. Writing but can't with my eye surgery. Same question
  9. I loved Adi''s story and you beautifully expanded it. This was so much fun. Great story, just sorry it took me so long to read and review it.

    April's Fool

Well life is never smooth, and being the target of bullying is never easy. Unfortunately, Nicky snapped and Casey was caught in the fall out. Brian is an outsider, and yet he acts as a bridge between the broken men. Moving story, Val.

    Impatient

Ouch. Patrick went from friend, lover, and confident to callous fool. I don't find blame in him being bi, just in stringing both along. Oliver has some healing to do. Hopefully Dylan will help, just don't want him hurt too.

    Rule #3

Aww, Cassie.I'm never one for threesomes. I find it hard enough to deal with just one other, but they are open and trusting. I'm happy for them.
  13. This was all new to me. I loved the way you developed the relationship and showed how good the two men were for each other. You feel for poor Jonne, his step family is a piece of work. The loss of his mother and impending loss of his father weighs on him. I hope the tasks of watching over his brother and nephew help him survive. Beautifully crafted tale. I'll have to check into the original story.
  14. I love the prompts because you can just create a little scene. Not sure if I'll come back to it, but I'm sure Barry will not be happy about Frank, the janitor.
  15. I'm old. I read both companies starting in the 80's. As a kid I grew up on the Batman TV show, Wonder Woman, and the Hulk. Saturday morning was the live action Spider-Man, Shazam, and the Mighty Isis. There were the Thor, Ironman, Spider-Man, and Super friends cartoons. I've watched both companies grow and stumble. Remember for every Avenger movie there is a Fantastic Four disaster. For every Ironman there is a Punisher. They have had hits and incredible flops. In comics right now Captain America is an agent of Hydra, a Nazi organization type thing. Scary part is Marvel forgets that Steve was created by two Jewish men. So they have their disasters too. DC isn't behind the door. For their success in cartoons like Batman or any of the DC comic movies, they've had a disaster in live action like Constantine, Swamp Thing, or Suicide Squad. My favorite character has always been Wonder Woman. I loved George Perez's version of her, and Greg Rukka has done a great job in DC's Rebirth of her. I love Donna Troy and Cassie Sandsmark, both were Wondergirl. Wally West is my Flash. Nightwing is my Robin, and the Titans my team. Unless Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Flash, and Martian Manhunter are part of the team then you don't have the Justice League. Just my take on the comics
  16. A very Happy Belated Birthday, Sly.
  17. “Who is singing that?” Ed ran out of his office and toward the hallway. Ed looked down both directions, trying to find who the deep tenor voice belonged to. Listening carefully he headed toward the company’s kitchen area. Stepping in as quietly as he could, he found the janitor singing the role of Roger, the main character in his new musical. He listened as the janitor’s voice swelled and filled the kitchen. Ed noticed the small man wore a headset that connected to an iPod on his belt.
  18. Seeon is a pawn, so he should not have power according to his society. Whatever power he has will bloom in this new life.
  19. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
  20. Well their dad loves his sons. Mom, we'll sometimes things are great in theory 'til you have to actually go through it. Not sure what the end result will be. Anyway, I think Tony has a computer in his future. Lol.
  21. Thanks. Made the correction. Glad you enjoyed it.
  22. “Where are you planning to get the money for that vacation?” Tony looked over Mark’s broad shoulder at the website on screen. “I can look. You know I’ve been putting money away.” Mark turned and glared at his brother. “And it isn’t a vacation, it’s called a honeymoon!” “Yeah, yeah.” Tony smiled and sat on his older brother’s bed. “Just don’t you and Bran forget to bring me back something!” “You do realize its our honeymoon. We aren’t going for souvenirs, you know?” Tony nodde

    False Flag

Dolores, your story sucked me in. I want to know where these pirates are, what happened to the diplomat, and if this does mean war. Great job.
