I had never heard of A Cosa Servono le Mani, even though Italian songs floated through the house all the time, naturally, which kind depended on the listener and their age. I fondly remember Adriano Celentano, Umberto Tozzi, Eros Ramazotti, and many more. Who never sang 'voglio fare l'amore con te' at the top of their lungs in the grocery store hasn't lived IMHO.

Here I am thinking about how to comment because everything relevant has already been written/said. Who doesn’t love a Maine Coon Cat? Exactly. Who? What a lovely tribute for a dear friend. Absolutely. Sweet story.Thanks. *Nods.* etc..... Thank you! I greatly enjoyed this story, with only a touch of tragedy, as it is a tribute.

To answer your question: Of course, you don't want me to continue, right? I suggest folding space.

Here I was, expecting a huge drama and then I could leave with a smile. Thank you!

Next to it was a bookcase lined with his treasures. Seeing them helped him calm a bit. His treasures were such a comfort to him, all carefully arranged and placed most pleasingly. Each was showcased, without being obvious to anyone, but himself. This had me pause for the very first time. Still, I never expected this kind of twist. Well done.

That's an interesting idea. He seems to know many stories....

Thank you for taking on the prompt! I'm watching my new fluffy puppy with a keen eye now.

My thoughts exactly. I'm, glad you liked the chapter.

Thank you!! I wish you'd elaborated....I'm curious. Thanks for the great comment.

You already had a hunch? 1.) @centexhairysub answered that perfectly. She was probably trying to ensure that her kill was discovered. 2.) Nope, sorry there are men too-

I understand the huge gaps are troublesome. There are several reasons for the continued delay. I wanted to wait until the story was complete, but I needed the feedback. I thrive on it. That's my way to write. I'm not a plotter, I write on the fly. I'm currently holding many threads, ways how the story could turn out, in my hand. I'm glad you like the chapter.

Exactly, some might think Kavan is stupid to choose imminent death instead of bonding with Gideon. I think Kavan is right. It's a risky decision, but who wants to be bonded to an unwilling person? Why does Gideon offer his blood?

Chapter 18 The Hunt “Our unique skills?” Gideon hissed. I tensed. Fuck. Did anyone in the room notice the Conte’s slip-up? No one talks about a vampire’s powers, even if he calls them skills. “Nothing will come through the privacy shield,” the Conte gritted out. Gideon still looked as if he’d bitten off something sour. “Doesn’t that draw attention to us all the more?” Uh-oh. And now he questioned the Master himself, who promptly arched a brow over narrowed eyes.

Let’s squeeze some prompts in before the anthology takes over the blog. It’s the time for creaking doors, flickering lights, and whispered words in the dark. Don’t forget everything orange. PT #171 How about we play with tropes: wide open mawing jaws, saliva drips, and then set a sweet counterpoint? PT #172 Write about a most unlikely person who hates orange and everything it implies. Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection If you check the subgenre 'prompt' in your story tags, then people/readers can find everything here: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/subgenre/prompt/

Perfect. Plus creep factor.

Sorry, not this time; but I'm looking forward to reading all those cool stories.

So, after all those fantastic box discussions here, do you feel inspired to take a leap of faith? Do something unexpected?

Prompt or Anthology Story? Why not both!

Like Pandora's box? There's still hope.... Anyway, did you look at today's prompts? Just sayin'. -
Do you know those situations where you ask yourself, “What would happen if...?” Or, “Should I do it?” This Friday’s prompts are about doing something crazy, spontaneous, and daring. PT #167 Write about a person who sees a phone number scratched in the wood of a bench in the park. Spontaneously they dial it. What does your character feel when the phone rings? PT #168 First line: Boom! Did I do this? Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection If you check the subgenre 'prompt' in your story tags, then people/readers can find everything here: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/subgenre/prompt/
