  1. #765 is a real challenge...LOL
  2. We're going to watch it at the open air cinema next month!
  3. I followed the recommendation of a friend, stumbled about some great stories, wrote my first prompt story, got encouraging comments, and here I am. This means, we all should talk about GA, praise the site and maybe offer to be a guide. I don't know if it's doable, but posting linked snippets of stories else where might entice readers, as they come directly to the story without having to become accustomed to the site.

    Summer Visit

Perfection? I think it's perfection if you manage to recreate a special moment for others. Everything sounded nice, minus the meat.

    Thank you, very much!
  6. I can see the roses, and as always I rejoiced at the dash of hope/ optimism/spring in the end.

That would be insane. Thank you, for your comment.
  8. "Why are you grinning the whole morning?" "Uh..." Thanks for this!
  9. You showed us, let us feel, the very nature of the poetic form 'elegy'.
  10. Not only in America *hangs head in shame*

Thank you! Ariel needed someone in his corner.
  15. Great review, Tim. The story is on my summer reading list now.
  16. “You're early," stated Death as they set their newspaper down and turned to face me. I wasn’t sure if this was a reprimand or a simple statement and decided to stay by the door and wait for Azrael to tell me what to do next. Should I come in? Take a seat? With one sentence they had managed to unsettle me, a feeling I despise. Additionally, I had expected to be led to a small, austere conference room and not into this cozy room with a fireplace and two comfortable loveseats facing each other.
  17. Of course.
  18. Absolutely! Oh, and thanks for mentioning my prompts, Wayne.
  19. You may feel gray sometimes but I see green. Someone who writes wonderful stories that give me a spring in my steps.
  20. Looking for things means being curious, at least to me. Being curious means being alive and with your head in the clouds: Are you a dreamer?
  21. Peter is a challenging character. I don't want him as a friend, but my thoughts kept going back to him.Why was he behaving as he did? A puzzle. To the interview: Good questions and even better answers.

    Perseverance

Of course I want to know more, get to know Davey and his father, see what happens after the incident, but for me the central conclusion of this story is trust yourself sometimes and put your foot down and speak up when you feel it's necessary. A father knows his child and Dr. Green knew that. I'm really happy this ended well.

    Chapter 1

That was a surprise! It felt as if Devon was rattling at his cage. Successfully. I loved the ending, suddenly all his effort made sense again. Cool. And Fabian made me laugh. Thanks for this.

    Chapter 1 Hooked

I only wanted to read a little to get a feel for the story. I didn't stop until I reached 'step', the final word. It's a feel-good story that lets you go on with a spring in your step. Thank you for this, Gary!
