Mikael's jealousy was very well done. His indecisiveness belied his real feelings beautifully. How embarrassing to find out about the sister! And after... geek smut!!! Loved it! It was very sweet and believeable. Who said geeks can't be hot?
  2. If I had the free time in November to devote to it, I wonder if I'd run into similar issues given the way I write. I backtrack and re-write all the time and even feel the need to add scenes several chapter back just to balance the story. I can see how that would be a detriment to the NaNoWriMo goal. I give serious props to the authors who can do it. All the best to those participating and I hope some day to get it a try. Not sure what the result will be, but someday. Good luck all!
  3. Gratz, Daemok on being featured. Great start on getting in on the prompts. Thanks for the shout out, Wayne! You must be at least this tall to ride my story. LOL
  4. Happy Birthday, Mikie!!! :D :D
  5. I think I've followed that recipe before. Were you there?
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOUIS!!! :D :D
  7. What's the address?
  8. I wish I had time to participate but I am looking forward to seeing the results. Good luck everyone!

  11. How about no pants Sunday? Seeing as how I'm already home and all...
  12. **taps foot while waiting patiently for the new feature to debut** It was a good week of content all around! Thanks, Renee

  14. My fingers drummed the surface of my portfolio as the vibration of the subway served to amplify my irritation. I worked so hard on the presentation and those snotty bastards turned me down flat. Not only did they turn me down, but they did it so rudely. And they fired me on top of it! Outrageous. I gave them everything they asked for and then some. When they assigned me the project of designing the next big roller coaster at the Dallas theme park, I was overwhelmed. This deal would cement my po
  15. the worst part of that article is if you had the misfortune to read the trolling comments at the bottom. People spouting anti-gay rhetoric in directions that never happened according to the newsclip makes me incredibly sad that there's still so far to go for acceptance. I find myself clinging to the idea that these commenters are just a minor fringe and not the voice of a majority.
  16. I'm amazed how well you've kept up with what you have under the circumstances. We're not offended or upset with you by any stretch. I'll just send along some happy thoughts in the meantime. (happy thought... happy thought... happy thought)

I really loved where this one went. Great prompt response that could easily be expanded into something bigger, but stands on its own as a nice little short story.

  19. Thanks for featuring us, Wayne and thank you for your efforts in giving us ideas to break up the monotony. The prompts have always been a great way of shaking my brains loose and getting me writing when I hit a stalling point. It's a great creative exercise that I think everyone should give a try at least once. It's worth it to watch where different authors take the same idea.

Poor Mikael. So conflicted. If he has to guess whether he's gay or not, falling asleep to the Bewitched theme song clinched it. Let's home he can come to terms with his newfound awareness before something awful happens. Nice follow up chapter, Cassie!

  22. Hmm... I'm not sure. Usually I like some kind of resolution at the end even if it leaves the question of what will happen next. Did the story have an actual climax? Or did it just build and deflate into nothing? That's always a sad situation. (I swear I'm not trying to make a double entendre here. Honestly.)
  23. Nice insight and smart questions, Ashi. This is a side of Totallyy we typically don't get to see. Well done.
