  1. A variation on this theme, so I hope it's OK not to create a new topic. On the main forum page there is a blog entry box just above the status update link/box. Here you can see which blogs were most recently active. Normally, it's the three blogs which the most recent posts - or that's what I thought. But two days ago I edited my blog with review links (adding a link to my Christmas at Famous-Barr review), and suddenly the blog popped up in the box. But I hadn't added a new post or comment, only edited the main blog entry. Is this normal ? As far as I can recall it hasn't happened before when I added links. Of course, I'm not complaining about my blog being featured, but it does seem somewhat 'false marketing' since there weren't any new comments.
  2. Wow, that's a lot for a single week.

    Chapter 2.3

I'm glad they shared their stories. Communication will solve many problems. Interesting how they're already feeling mutually protective of each other. Kitryn seems to have a far amount of knowledge of vamps, so he can help Simon come to terms with his new 'life' and what he needs to do to survive.

    Chapter 87 D-Day

Well, what a nice surprise. Morgan managed to remove the stick up Don's arse and even made him have fun. I think Morgan is player a clever game. He'll insinuate himself (and his family) into Don and Sue's good graces and when they're defenseless he'll deliver the coup the grace (or whatever it's called). Don won't know what's hit him. I hope we (and Robbie) get to witness it. It's nice to see Daniel back in his role of teasing cousin and best friend, he and Nicola may turn out to be excellent allies in Nathan and Robbie getting to spend time together. Robbie should know better than to try and pin Alex down, and I'm very disappointed he hasn't told Nathan about having sex with the enemy.
  5. love the roses, Gary. Tillykke med fødselsdagen from Denmark waves Danish birthday flags at you and of course we have to have some Denmark/Canada SATW comics https://satwcomic.com/epic-battle https://satwcomic.com/merry-christmas https://satwcomic.com/wrong-identity
  6. Yeah, I clicked on Kitt and @Lisa 's names too, in order to see their lists. Works great. And i noticed you got the Sort by options sorted out.
  7. I noticed it too (that your banner is just an icon), I though my browser was simply in a jinx.
  8. Ohhhh, magic ( did everyone else know you could do that ?) PS it would be nice if we could sort the list by author and not just title.
  9. I finally managed to find the list of Editors and Betas, in order to see how many stories I'd edited on GA so far. Congrats to @Kitt for being the busiest editor with 115 stories, btw. My question is whether it's possible to generate a list of the stories I've edited. Mostly for my own interest, because I'm losing track of them, but I can also see a site value. If someone wanted to ask another member to edit or betaread, it might be useful to see what they have edited/betaed before. The list could either pop up on the main editor list https://www.gayauthors.org/stories/browse/editors/ or be a separate page on my profile. Or it could be a choice in the Activity Stream: Stories I've edited / betaed. No big need, but if you ever run out of other ideas for site improvement, it would be cool to have.
  10. LOL, thanks, buddy, I did wonder at the sudden flooding of my notifications. I do plan to spend a greater part of my Christmas holiday on writing, and this story will be my first priority.
  11. I've read and commented on all of them, but I haven't reviewed any.

    Relationships

Well, you gifted us with a lovely long chapter to tide us over until next year, so you can enjoy the holiday with a good conscience (unlike me). I'm glad Tony told Geoff about Stuart, because forewarned is forearmed (or something like that). Tony is a master of patience by now and I think he's seeing it as a sign of how different this relationship is to any other he's had. He's doing his best to give his boyfriend a boost of self-worth and it seems to be working.
  13. @BlindAmbition @Mikiesboy @Parker Owens Well, I'm sorry I beat you to it, but the blog review of the Famous-Barr series was planned months ago. But you could still review one of the FB stories separately, if you want.
  14. Well, at least you're considering a second chapter, that will please your fans. And until then the story works as it is.
  15. Yes, both his stories and the comments he left on other people's stories will be treasured forever. Thank you, @Drew Espinosa for remebering this anniversary, even though it's a sad one.
  16. I'll add my favorite Danish Christmas hymn - it's also sung in Sweden and Norway, making it a proper Scandinavian Christmas song. Also my favorite julesang (xmas song) for dancing around the juletræ (tree) on Juleaften (Christmas Eve). @ColumbusGuy if you ever get to Christmas in your Jay and Miles story, these may come in handy.
  17. You did, but not very many people noticed, including @Wicked Witch Maybe you could add links to the features in the list ? Then it would be easier to find them, if we missed seeing them at the time they were posted.
  18. Wow, that's a lot of stuff going on. I'd like to add that @Caz Pedroso won the Fall Anthology Participation Reward. Congratulation, Caz. I hope you celebrate by writing a sequel.

    Part 10

It might have been better if they had sorted the red and swollen bit out on the shower. But Cade's comment made me

    Part 9

Damn nuisance about that letter being lost. They would have been spared quite a bit of anguish. I'm glad Craig took charge of the situation.
  21. Timothy M.

    Part 8

Craig seems to be pushing Locke into being physically close, perhaps he hopes they'll finally be honest with each other and open up mentally.
  22. Timothy M.

    Part 7

Locke certainly got his point across in a most convincing manner. Interesting that the blood bond gives some protection.
  23. Timothy M.

    Part 6

Are the pain killers making Craig babble or is he always this joking?
  24. Timothy M.

    Part 5

Well, now we know where Crystal had her abilities from. It sounds like no one helped Basil with controlling his abilities when he was a teen.
  25. Timothy M.

    Part 4

oho, seems they are both keeping their feelings under wraps.
