  1. Oh, and I forgot: great review, Adi. (but you already know I thought so)
  2. The S-train brought us back to the central part of Copenhagen, and we made our way towards Tor’s apartment. Jacob had gotten a text message asking us to meet Tor and Kristin there. I wondered why she hadn’t stayed with Mom, but I was looking forward to hearing their version of the events and Kristin’s opinion about the situation. We bought sandwiches on the way; I wasn’t hungry but maybe I would be later. When we entered the apartment, Kristin was there to greet us. I could see she had changed
  3. I read this story a long time ago, before I was into writing reviews and leaving likes. So I only left one small rant and rave review on the last chapter. This time around I did a full rant on various characters. And I still wish there were a few more hot chapters at the end.

    Where am I?

Ents - you've found the Ents ! Uhm wait, maybe it's the Huorns...
  5. LOL, Joe may be bad about expressing his emotions but when he finally does it, he goes the full monty. Nice to know they're set for life and still have it good. This was an amazing first story, Rex, and I apologize for not reviewing until now.
  6. I think what I liked best about this chapter apart from seeing Joe and Rex interact with the kids, was the portrait of both the social worker and the foster parents as good people, who were doing their best to help the parentless kids. Even the judge who wanted them to stay together, rather than taking the easy way out.

    A Ripping Yarn

Even if the jacket is ripped a bit at the seams, it's still in one piece.
  8. Great chapter and wonderful way of making Joe feel appreciated. But I'm still a bit unhappy about him refusing to stay at Rex's place. If Joe wants to feel bad about taking up his boyfriend's time it should be about forcing him to drive by all the time. Oh, and at some point you may wanna fix the weird line shifts or what ever it is that forces the text into a narrow column.
  9. Now this chapter was one to warm the hearts of your readers. It's easy to see how popular Joe is with everyone who knows him. And I like the way he doesn't care about where he is. If he wants to kiss Rex he's damn well gonna do it right there and then.
  10. The timeline of this chapter confused me. Within two paragraphs you jumped from It's now 3:14 am. Saturday morning. The week after our date. to Joe and I have been seeing each other for nearly 6 months. having Christmas going past in between. Anyway, the rough part was of course Joe being so badly injured, and Rex having to deal with all the repercussions. Like Gary, I also thought about Brandon's kids, but having read the story before at least i know what'll happen.

    Revelations

Well, it seems like Rex and Joe are made for each other, once they get those talks done with. Brandon it the epitome of the bigoted drunk-aggressive douchebag. I remember thinking 'what about his poor kids' at this point, last time round. How could their mother abandon them with this idiot?
  12. Dracula docked with my dick. Well, I guess Joe made up for the abandoned hand job with a vengeance - and he liked cock-sucking too. This chapter was a lot more promising than the first. And I liked how Joe refused to let Rex avoid the talk about his premonitions.

    Chapter 1

LOL, I'm as confused now as when I first read this story. And not finishing the hand job on his friend was a bit of a dick move by Joe. (sorry, couldn't resist)
  14. I spent quite a while trying to decipher the meaning of the chapter note and the title, although the latter was easier. The Art of the Deal was first Kellar and Tobyn realizing they needed to talk with Clarence first. Both to prepare him for the earth mate news and gain his understanding and support, but also to pave the way for the real deal: merging the packs for now. And Clarence showed he knows the art of the deal very well, that honesty and an open mind can take your much further than being devious and suspicious. He even takes the first step and opens the way for Tobyn to explain the possible deal. As with all great deals they have a win-win situation. Both packs will benefit from the Magic of the earth mates, and the needs and resources of Vega and Morningstar were Mirrors to each other. Vega has people with useful skills and the equipment for working the forest area of Morningstar who has the homes and the positions which need filling with people. Vega may give up their home for now, but their future alpha will gain a strong earth mate, and Logan may become Alpha of Vega pack much sooner than he could have been, even if he hadn't been ill. Again, what Tilly has to give and what she needs exactly mirrors what Logan can offer. Even if we only had short descriptions of the other four pairs the same magic seems to be true for them as well. The earth mother knows what she is doing. Finally, the end of the chapter opened up a new aspect of both title and chapter note, as Kellar looked at the painting and saw the mirror image of his wolf in this stunning piece of art. What kind of magic is this we all wonder? What is the deal with the exodus portrayed and with this wolf looking exactly like Kellar? My gut feeling was this: I bet I know why the wolf in the painting looks like Kellar. He was another Savior. By now I've edited the next chapter, so I can't say anything else. But I promise you'll all be happy as Gary tells us what the deal is with the wolf in the painting. Writing and keeping us all enthralled is his Art, and we are willingly caught by his Magic.
  15. Yikes, that back story about Christian casually thrown out there made me want to But Emma sure did a good job revenging her brother, I like that woman. At least Christian is able to flirt and appreciate the attention / admiration of another guy. And having someone like him flirt back would be a boost to anyone's self-confidence - and other things too. I like how he got a chance to reflect on how he felt about teaching and got reassurance that not all failures of students to learn was the fault of the teacher. I think a more relaxed St.John will be better for the students too. I'd guess several of them fear his look of disdain or cutting remarks when they fuck up or show their ignorance.
  16. If you're using IE, that may be the reason. I've finally changed to Chrome after Myr told me to do so for the twentieth time (very patiently ).
  17. feels weird to see my name up there as part of a GA team.
  18. Good for you, Carlos. I'm proud to have such a reasonable US friend. At least most of the people who dislike Trump are not likely to do anything 'terminal' about it. Mike Pence as president sounds worse than Trump from a LGBT POV.

    Chapter 15

Glad to have Finian back, but not so happy about him being kidnapped. Alistair will have a fit. Is he able to find Finian even if they aren't mated fully yet? If so I expect that unicorn is in for a very nasty surprise. The older nightmare should simply take Robert over and make him sober up there. Hmm wait, no he can't do that, can he?
  20. LOL, you're right. Only a few bigoted high school teens, who Rob can easily deal with. This is supposed to be a story filled with fun and good feelings, and the only time I tried to deviate, AC was quick to slap me down. Quite rightly (and kindly) too.

    Chapter 35

Yeah, I bet he's gonna be the hero of the week on their cruise ship. That was so awesome, the way he handled the episode with Larry the idiot.

    Influence

Absolutely my favorite chapter too. And I loved the panda/snowman fight, IBEX. Emmett is so clever to think about the perfect place for Jian to work, and those two employees knew a good thing when they saw it. Awesome Jian is hopefully clever enough to see there is nothing wrong with living off Em's savings as log as he's working towards a degree and a permanent job. After all, Emmett gets his mate to live with him permanently as a reward. I bet even Huan will be pleased.

    Chapter 2

Well. Nathan seems like a promising prospect, let's hope he returns in spite of being interrupted by the ex who should get lost and stay lost. Glad to see Liam do the sensible thing about contacting Corey.

    Chapter 14

Lahja may want Nassau, but I seriously doubt the Prince of Hell wants a fallen angel. But he may enjoy seeing Kiorl squirm with jealousy and Lahja cry from a broken heart after being rejected. Or maybe not... Anyway, Lahja probably wants to worship Nassau on a purely mental level, so Kiorl may still get his body and heart. But he hasn't found the way to achieve that. Hopefully talking to Jahke may help.
  25. Yup, one of those chapters which made me about Victor being a fool.
