funny you should say that, I did think about posting a link to exactly that comic: http://satwcomic.com/wrong-identity Actually, this one might explain why there are only the Swedish and Norwegian words for TAK (tack and takk). http://satwcomic.com/product-pairing

You've got almost every language except for Danish... I feel left out. lol, just kidding

Tillykke med fødselsdagen, Caz! Frantic wawing of Danish birthday flags and one of my favorite SATW comics apropos of nothing (but it's nice to have a friend who can appreciate crazy Danish humor)

I hope Preston makes sure Willet gets an official reprimand for his bigoted behavior and is forced to retake diversity training. What an utter jerk ! On the oher hand, the police interview made Luke tell his parents the truth and in a manner which forces them to support him no matter what they may originally have thought about him being gay. Even the slightest hint of disapproval will leave them tainted with the Alexis and Willet stink, and I dare say they will want to avoid this at any cost. Brilliantly done, Riley. I loved that Simon listened at the door and Luke knew he would. Saves him from explaining it all over again. Telling once is more than enough. But at least he managed to keep his earlier crush on Ryan private, while telling the truth about them being only friends.

I guess he can date Kristof and lead a normal human life until he's exprienced enough to suit the king's taste. It will probably tale Lord D half a century to work his stupid head out of his stuck-up arse.

Well, that put all your suspicious-minded and indignant readers in their place. Some day Ash really needs to sit down and ask Kye to repeat everything he's heard without Barrett realizing.

Prompts Writing Prompts #522 & #523
Timothy M. commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Writing World
I shall have to tease JAR with once again beling too late with posting his link in the topic. -
I'm glad to see the matter of Zach resolved, hopefully the idiot will stay away from Corey now. Bryce was a good test case for Corey's issues, flirty but not a threat, and Liam's observation of Jason's devotion helped too. Interesting how he had noticed his boss being more cheerful as his friendship with Jason evolved. Being official boyfriends might take things to an even better level. Now they just need to tell their families. Oh, wait, something else first...

for letttng us know, hope you'll feel better soon. I, for one, am happy to wait patiently while sending good wishes for your speedy recovery. Your well-being is more important than our bottomless need for more chapters.

Nice to see Wes finally came to his senses. Why do they have to march anywhere? Are the delivering a petition or something? Otherwise they could simply stand where they are and hand out fliers etc. That way they could deny being a march.
-
I'm still chuckling over Corey getting all possessive and comfy with Jason. I was pleased Jason finally told Corey about Luc, and even more how he mixed his forgiving with a warning about further transgressions. Once is happenstance, but twice is a habit - for both of them.

I thought Phillip was clever, but apparently not. Why on earth did they waste time with getting Josh' stuff? It could have been done the next day, preferably while his dad was down at the police station trying to explain why he abducted someone else's child. And if nothing else, they should have left someone on the lookout to warn them. Why didn't Jacob's parents simply go to the police station and demand to get their son ? They are his family, and continuing the deception of Jacob being Josh serves no purpose. I had expected Phillip to come up with this solution, but I guess he's not really the savy guy I had imagined. And Jacob's parents are perhaps too surprised to act rationally. But apart from these complications it was a good chapter, in spite of the cliffie.

Torture is what Tobyn is doing to them both, but his body and heart are stronger than his mind when it comes to sleeping. They refuse to be kept away from Kellar, and keep torturing his brain until he has no choice. He may refuse to see, but Tilly who knows him best did not let him turn a blind eye to what was the right thing to do. She ended the torture of pretending friendship and a sibling-like love is a substitute for the real thing. Strangely enough, Kellar who is well aware of them being earth mates, is actually able to control his body and heart with his mind. After all, he knows that if they had sex, the game of denial would be over. He could probably seduce Tobyn if he began while the man was still sleeping, but Kellar is too honorable to do so. He waits patiently, he observes the signs, he hears the admissions Tobyn gives without realizing. He is wiling to take it slow, one day at a time, and when his man is ready, Kellar will be there to welcome him with open arms, not just as friends sleeping together, but as lovers and earth mates forever. I was just thinking: Every day they've been together, Tobyn has seen his preconceived notions shattered. He tries to cling to them, fights the truth staring him in the face, but in the end he'll surrender, blindly or not. But I feel sympathy for his struggles, and I can relate to hating change. Their run together as wolves should have shown Tobyn where he belongs, just like the day they met. But he is probably out of touch with his wolf, unlike Kellar.

I love it when your chapter title and note not only reflects the content of the story but also what you're doing to your readers. I freely admit that I was completely blindsided by this development. Tobyn's mom was the earth mate of the lonely mechanic. and Kellar had seen it coming (or at least hoped so) by the matching patterns in them. I know there were some very subtle hints in the previous chapters but I sure hadn't caught on to this possibility. What a road trip you took us on here only to end up with everyone running slam into the wall of Tobyn's stubborness and fear. Ouch that hurt, and most of all poor Kellar who had hoped this would be evidence enough to convince his own mate. He sure got blindsided by that reaction. but then I guess Tobyn felt just as blindsided by his mom taking off with a stranger and dismissing her son and his worries as unimportant. I bet Tobyn isn't used to coming second to anything except her responsibilities as pack leader. One thing I wonder: does Kellar realize what his abilities means for the packs? He's gonna spend the rest of his life on a never-ending road trip going from pack to pack and healing them and finding earth mates matches. Let's hope he'll have Tobyn by his side for his quest to save shifters.

Premium Promo Premium Promo: Ship Logs Of The Santa Claus Series
Timothy M. commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I was lucky I managed to read them before they moved to Premium. Great story - lots of drama and hot stuff. -
Yeah, it was fucking scary. There was an interview with Jakob Fuglsang where he says he heard people falling behind him on that curve (eg Cole Porter from Australia), so on the last round he took extra care on the descent - and came round the corner to see Nibali and the other guy crashed right there. (Nibali from Italy was the one with the two broken collar bones ) This gave him the chance to get a medal.

Uhm, no and what's the difference between wealth and affluence - or did you mean influence? But maybe that's a difference between Denmark and USA / Britain. We're not awed by people's parents being rich, we're more likely to make sure they don't get away with being stuck up (look up Janteloven). I would more likely admire a potential boyfriend for keeping quiet about his connections or his parents' wealth. So to me Wes is being silly.

I agree completely, that Nicola is a total bitch, and Sue can't even see it when Robbie points it out. I hope Robbie refuses to apologize and comes up with a cool revenge, but unfortunately he's not very smart, so it would be more luck than cleverness if he did.
-
Well, well, Jade realized her actions were stupid and hurtful and she apologized to Dorian. Miracles do happen. Let's see how long it lasts before she is back to her pushy, thoughtless self. And Wes is even more of a silly drama queen than I thought.

Story Review Featured Story: The Alliance
Timothy M. commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I simply must read this story soon ! Great review, my Swedish friend. -
Very interesting chapter. I still think he's too hard on himself, but I understand his feelings in this case. I bet his students will be a lot more respectful from now on, though.

Well, at least Denmark's first Olympic (Silver) medalist Jakob Fuglsang is both good-looking and clever enough to wear a track suit over his cycle pants unlike the bronze medalist from Poland. It's Jakob on the left, if you're in doubt. We're officially expecting 10 medals, and up to 25 might happen. But the one in cycling was an unexpected bonus. rowing and swimming are our best hopes. PS: you might enjoy some of the official photos of the talented Danish swimmer Viktor Bromer.

I'm guessing you're preparing us, so we won't be too disappointed when Julie doesn't get the head coach job. I like the way she thinks and Henry seems a good guy. The way he asks for her advice is an indication he sees her potential as his assistant and someone with great skills and a future in the AFL - or the Leopards Head Coach in three years time. So I'll be OK with him getting the job. It was a wonderful night out with Ross, Kevin and Warwick. We knew why Ross was reacting the way he did, to those comments, so it was fun when Kevin was confused. Interesting how Warwick interpreted the signals correctly and soon realised what they meant. I was surprised he asked Ross out the first chance he had, I was expecting another joint night out for the boys before it happened. Is Ross blond by the way? I was even more surprised Ross said yes, but then I guess the lure of a nice guy who's interested in football was too hard to resist. How could Ty honestly be surprised about getting the award? I know he's a reformed character, but surely there must be something left of his sense of self-worth. After all, he's not stupid, and he's by far the best Leopards player. I know he would point to Jim as deserving it the most, but he'd already gotten third place. Anyway, I loved the joke Peter made about the brat. It was a good talk Sam and Marcus had with Ross and his mum. I wish Wu had been there too, because maybe he would have gained a better perspecive of what his best friend is going through. Deon was helpful too in convincing Ross not to deceive people too far. And finally I was all at having read Doug right - or at least that Neil had the same idea I had. The small look inside Doug's head showed other reasons too, but that's all to the good. It was another solid chapter which moved all the different plot lines along nicely, including Charlie's visit to st. Kilda and the explanation of how the draft works. Clarissa hasn't lost one bit of her sharp wits, and Deon appreciates it. I hope they stay a couple. I wonder - has Clarissa applied for Sydney University, just in case? I know, I know, you can't tell me, lol.

I knew something was fishy as soon as I heard about the man seeking help. Are they insane to let him close to Ash or Rowland?
