Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk
Hi Tony, I'm glad you felt the chapter gave a deeper understanding of both men. That means I've accomplished the mision for this chapter. Thanks for beeing cool about the new schedule of biweekly postings rather than every week. I hope I can stick to it. -
Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk

I hadn't thought about it like that, Gary, I swear. Yeah, Peter's mother is missing out, but some people are like that, giving their partners priority over their kids. Luckily, Peter has Moster Grethe to compensate. I think he actually misses his dad more than his mom. I'm to have the approval of the master of hot sex scenes Yeah, Peter would have enjoyed it no matter what, not only is he in love but also coming out of a rather long dry spell - but nothing compared to Patrick I guess. I'm glad you liked the chapter. -

LOL, by all means set up a Team Michael. I'm sure you'll have lots of members. I promise he will feature in the next chapter. Thanks for the nice words about adding ackground. It's something I like to do, and with two people meeting and learning about each other, it's quite natural I think. But it can feel contrived at times, so I'm glad it worked here. Good luck on the Danish podcasts -

Thanks, CG, I knew Peter would have your sympathy. Step-parents can be great or awful just like biological parents. If Peter's dad hadn't been a nice guy, the contrast to his mother's new husband would not have hit so hard. Thanks for sharing your memories, Alzheimer's is a terrible way to lose a parent, but it was touching how he remembered love. I'm glad you liked the open door policy, I thought it was a natural step for them as parents. And of curse it's important for Michael to not feel excluded. A schedule of posting can be a pressure, but at least it's less when it's twice a month and not weekly. Hungry bird cheeping is always welcome. -
Chapter 15 Dinner with friends
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 15 Dinner with friends
Lol, I'm glad I made you laugh, Drew, I thought the story was funny myself, so it's great to have my readers agree. Showing not telling, good one No, the eaves-dropping couple was not significant in any other way. Just a fun detail. I hadn't thought about it before you mentioned the friend aspect here, but you're absolutely right. I guess my friends are important to me and that's why I want my characters to have them too. And of course the dynamic between friends are different to that of lovers or family. -
Fragment Four: Pillow Talk
Timothy M. commented on ColumbusGuy's story chapter in Fragment Four: Pillow Talk
Jakob and Ernst are wonderful together. I liked to hear about their meeting, and I laughed at the holo porn star story. The 'thal triads continue to intrigue me. If they get permission to mix the male genes, other couple may demand the same. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with taking turns to father a child. Of course I like the twin idea too, but this is less optimal for the female, due to greater risks of complications. -
Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk
Timothy M. posted new chapter in The Cardmaker and the Caretaker
The four men walked together from the restaurant to Holborn station to catch the Underground. Patrick did invite the other couple home for coffee, but they excused themselves, since they had a long drive north the next morning for Anthony’s mother’s birthday brunch. Patrick and John made tentative plans to meet up the following weekend, but this would depend on Michael’s condition and whether Fiona had replied to the email the cardmaker planned to write Sunday morning. This time Patrick was pre- 37 comments

Well, that was not what I expected from either of them. Ryan has some apologizing to do after this. But Clayton was being overly cautious too. I can't understand why money is such a big issue.

Weekly Update Weekly Wrap Up (May 22 - May 28)
Timothy M. commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Quite an eventful week, and you did well on taking over the duty from Renee. You even remembered to remove the Summer Anthology deadline to show it's passed. I hope more people managed to contribute, the Wicked Games theme was a good one. -
I recall feeling angry and upset when first reading this, so maybe that's why I didn't leave a review. But reading again, I cannot help wondering why his flight failed. Was it punishment (from the gods) for Sudal for those rebellious thoughts and acts? Or was it rather punishment for his father and the clan for forcing the verl to conform to stifling tradition rather than let him find his own path to the gods? So, when do we get the next installment? With the Summer Anthology?

I so enjoyed all the -ing and -ing and -ing. In Danish we have an expression 'at sanke glødende kul på hans hoved' literally meaning to collect glowing embers on his head, but figuratively expressing the anguish and humiliation when someone shows you have been misjudging and completely in the wrong. Kye doesn't quite realize, but this is exactly what he has been doing and will probably continue to do for a while yet. The arrival of the Count was timed perfectly, I loved every moment. I look forward to the moment Kye realizes he's sleeping in Lord Ash's bed. As for what he can spend his time doing, I think Reth will occupy plenty of it, but there is also reading and eating and resting, and going for small walks in the garden. More long term I think Kye would enjoy trending the garden and maybe produce herbs for cooking. He might also train as Lord Ash's valet.

I can see why you ignore JJ's coach, but what about other skaters? -
I love how they all made sure to tell Nix they wanted him as their lover in the previous chapter, and it was sweet how Phenner and Mucha did him together in this one. Hot too of course The mouse is getting quite proficient, eh? Thanks for the mention btw.

Prompt 500 What took you so long? (I)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 500 What took you so long? (I)
Thanks, AC, I hadn't thought about it like that, but I'm sure you're right. Eric probably always knew Rob had his back, but he's losing the childish resentment. Rob, on his side, is beginning to treat Eric as his equal; he's not there yet, but the first steps have been taken. I love when my readers can see the (unintentionally) profound along with the fun. -

Chapter 6 Shifters Are Dying
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 6 Shifters Are Dying
Shifters Are Dying - is it a coincidence the acronym = SAD? Because that's how the first half of the chapter made me feel. The Malaise is a lot worse than I first thought. Having your life expectancy cut in half is pretty dire, losing contact with your wolf half or wolfing out completely is terrible, the lack of contact with other packs worrisome, the overall sickness and gradual dying out point to the outcome Tobyn predicts. I have the feeling there is lower fertility, so fewer children born? Why is this happening? It seems to have occurred before, so it cannot be pollution or other modern time causes. Could it be a virus? Is the lack of earth mates and keepers symptoms or otherwise connected to the Malaise? What about those hunters? Did they kill Kellar's parents? Could one of them have been Fendral's off-spring? So many questions, but with 20+ more chapters to come, I'm guessing the answers are complex. With all the depressing stuff they were sharing during the talk, it was wonderful to see them play and connect as wolves. Kellar must have loved having a new friend who can share in the joy of running and being one with nature. They are bonding as humans and as wolves, and no matter what happens next, I think Kellar's days as a lone wolf are over. He's done well, but he needs a pack. I hope he can help them in some way, even if there are no easy fixes of the problem. I'm all ready to do some more editing. Just need to put Russ and Jacob to bed. -

Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 500 What took you so long? (I)
I'm glad the Perry brothers make you feel that way. We were overdue for a chapter with Rob and Eric, and this one just flowed once I started writing. If Rob did ask Trevor or vice versa, they would make sure to talk about reasons and expectations beforehand. But I'm still trying to decide... -

Aaww, Thanks glittery Sorry about the disappoinment. I always wanted to be a twin, but I'm not sure why you think my brother would be Irish? Imagination is a good thing for an author. -
Ohh, Corey to the rescue This will hopefully break the ice, since they had already had the awkward first meeting. I wonder whether Corey makes sure to got to the gym at times when Jason can't be there? Well, he'd probably go in the middle of the day anyway, if he has time. Friends first is a very good idea, and it's a good think Jason never knew Corey had a crush on him. He'll behave naturally and relaxed as they slowly become friends. I wonder how soon he'll start thinking of Corey as more than a friend. Hopefully not too soon, as it would be fun if it was sprung on him as a suprise.

LOL, Caz, you have lots of surprising (and kinky) corners in your mind, so no wonder you sometimes get lost. It's fun to try and extract you. Carlos seems just right for Daniel.

Faris and James: The Party, erm … Event (Prompt 501)
Timothy M. commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Faris and James: The Party, erm … Event (Prompt 501)
I was all ready to be at Faris for not respecting James' wish of no party, but I have to admit he did it in a real clever way. I bet the event will be the talk of the 'office' for a long time. The gifts were easy, I noticed Faris didn't say they weren't from him, he only said he didn't know who left them. It means he had allies among James' colleagues who sneaked the gifts in, but he wasn't privy to who gave what. Or something like that...
