  1. Thanks Drew, I'd not thought about the anniversary, but I since I managed to post ch. 12 one year and eight days after the first chapter, I suppose I can claim a posting schedule of once a month. But don't expect me to keep up with that. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, including the interaction between Russ and Evan. The story has progressed so far since this moment, it's almost strange to think back on how tense and tentative the situation was then.
  2. I'm not going to repeat all the praise, I'll do a Lisa and say Ditto! But I'll say that you once again did a great job of choosing a title and introduction line. M&K had a peek into the future the Cards hold for them. Kendall gets to do his saintly bit (hope he doesn't faint at the sight of blood), and Michael gets to keep his distance to Candy without having to feel bad about it, since it respects her wishes too. I think they should be grateful that Candy tries to detach herself from the child, because there have been cases where the surrogate has refused to give up the baby. At least she has the added incentive of hoping for a relationship with her childhood sweetheart. She may have to tell him of the child (depending on her blood type), but she could say it was a favor to her friends. Oh and of course a Family of three is better than two - in some ways at least. But I could have wished for them that they had a longer time to be a couple before having to deal with a kid. But they would probably have been ready for children fairly soon anyway, considering the leaps of love they've taken so far. Of course, we all waiting for the one they discussed. (I hope Colleen never has to use their bathroom, can you imagine the embarassment of having to explain this gadget?! )
  3. Not to worry, we worked out what you meant.
  4. Me neither. Except I know people who get very grumpy with no coffee.

    Prompt 442

A bit sexier ?! How about a LOT sexier ! Oh yeah that was great. In spite of the nosy neighbor. I guess they need to talk now, because this is becoming a relationship very fast. Can't wait to read more.
  6. Oh yes, I can recommend both of them. Andrew's stories were among the first I read on GA (this was before I began leaving reviews), and I enjoyed them a lot, both the longer series and the short stories linking them. Sasha is one of my favorite authors, Don't shout is a good story to start with.
  7. I couldn't agree more.
  8. Before Gary (Headstall) became a writer, he was one of the best and busiest reviewers on GA. In fact I sometimes looked forward reading his comments as much as I looked forward to the new chapters of a story we both followed. I'm amazed he can still get reviews done, when I think of the posting speed of his stories.

    Chapter 14

I once compared Wade to an earthquake and Will to a volcano. It still holds, because Wade leaves people feeling unsettled and unsteady and waiting for the next aftershock to hit them. And JP found out that once Will starts to erupt, he is a force of nature which nothing can stop until the flow of lava (anger) runs out or is met by a sea of apologies. But JJ is like lightening - unpredictable but over in a split second, leaving the victim charred and people around them wondering what happened. Oh and you know the danger of a strike is there by the thundercloud over his head ! But the sizzling bolt still surprises you with the ferocity of the hit.
  10. She would if she has a tap on Will's phone - or if she has someone informing her of Wade leaving Kenya. Hmm I went back and checked, and Zach got called in for his drug test more or less at the same time Will was talking to Wade. Not even ED can act so quickly. But Julius could have informed her earlier about Will turning up and Zach leaving with him, and this might have been the trigger.
  11. I loved the innocent yet knowing voice of Jimmy telling this part. He finally finds a lover who treats him properly and it's no wonder he develops an instant crush. Yet he immediately knows that the love of two mature men trumps his puppy love. He still has to deal with a broken heart, but at least he is a realist. Yes, we're sorry for him, but also glad he had this one night with Brian. And I was proud of Brian for not abandoning Jimmy and for chastizing Snowflake for his behavior. I wasn't surprised at Snowflake's reaction. Until now he has been Cold and uncaring, not bothered about how other people saw him, except perhaps Sabrina. But Brian already means a lot to Snowflake, so of course the disapproval pains him.
  12. Ohh, I'm so behind on my reviewing, and I think it started here, because I drooled so much and my hands and fingers were too busy to type. Probably the hottest sauna scene ever written.

    Chapter 3

I like how affectionate and touchy-feely Dave is. I bet Reece is starved for love and intimacy, and I applaud him for knowing what he wants and not letting shyness or insecurities prevent him from saying yes. Even if they don't last, Dave is good for Reece - but of course we hope they will become a couple. In spite of having Josh saying 'I told you so' ten thousand times.

    Chapter 2

This habit of ignoring everything Reece says, does this predate his coming out? He's only been out to the family for six months = six dinners. But the way he describes his feelings about them it seems as if he was despised and ignored before that. I noticed how his mother completely ignored the argument about Dave being Josh's guest. Oh well, I'm glad Dave is persistent, he'll need that to get past Reece's insecurities.

    Chapter 4

Chase doing policework is fucking sexy ! As is the way he claims Felix. They clearly have a great consensual thing going here. More, please. His landlady might be old, but she's sharp. And I think she approves of Chase having someone in his life. Plus she probably likes the possibility of company during the day.

    Chapter 3

Nothing like a bit of alcohol to loosen your inhibitions. I hope Dorian is wrong about the regrets. If he's determined to stay in the closet, Felix is his best chance of a relationship. But it's going to be a challenge.
  17. Timothy M.

    Chapter 2

I like Felix more and more, he's clearly able to hold his own in a relationship no matter his age and innocence. I also understand why Dorian is trying to resist, he has some very good points. But I predict his other head is gonna win this struggle, eventually. It will be fun to watch.

    Chapter 1

Thanks to Drew and Puppilul for recommending this story. I'm hooked! I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm into the kind of kink you're describing with the exact limits you've outlined. And I completely agree with everyone else about the interesting characters you have developed, they promise an intriguing tale.
  19. and if you don't like the end, you don't bother reading the rest ?
  20. What?! and miss out on the wonderful anxiety of waiting for next week's installment?
  21. It's one of the reasons that GA has the On Hold option as well as In Progress and Complete. But of course, if the author has left the site completely, and without changing the status of his or her stories, then you don't know. As a reader I can relate to the frustration of never knowing the end of good stories. As a writer I can relate to the frustration of not being inspired or not having the time to write. But for me the option to finish a story before posting is less attractive, because I'm actually inspired by the feedback of my readers and often include their ideas in future chapters. And thankfully I have very patient 'hungry birds' to feed.
  22. Ha, ha, I can just see all the aristocratic British mothers hiding their teenage sons from her - although Alex would probably be the real 'danger' to their virginity. For once I like the silly age of consent limits / laws of the US. Here it's 15, unless the other part is in a position of authority (teachers etc), then it's 18. So I'm always having to remind myself when reading or writing of US teens.
  23. Whoa, that was a HOT start to their morning, and mine too. But thinking about it, I realize you're not so much portraying two horny teens, but rather two boys who are making their love and relationship stronger by being intimate. They both need that, but maybe Mikey the most, since he probably hasn't had much tactile parental approval or love. I can't see his mom hugging him much, but I may be wrong. In contrast Jay is used to hugs and kisses and he would soon feel starved if his partner in love didn't need the physical expression of their feelings. The way they hold hands in the car and play footsie under the lunch table says it all. I'm glad Calvin was able to work his way through his feelings of anger and rejection, and Benny did well in showing how much he cares. But I'd suggest he keeps the nickname Callie for intimate situations, in order to prevent any use of it in public by mistake. They are a wonderful couple, and it was fun to see J&M's reaction. Great chapter, my friend, and I'm already hungry for more. No pressure though.
  24. I'm glad I've improved your opinion about Rob. He may be a dominant older brother and high-status jock, but he does respect territories, and the GSA is Nelson and Eric's turf as far as Rob is concerned. Thus the need to get their approval. Of course, their dad may have helped Rob see how Eric feels, but the fact that he cares about him enough for it to matter is due to Rob alone.
  25. Thanks Drew, I'm looking forward to your comments on the chapters posted so far. You've hit the nail on the head. The main purpose of this story is to show how Russ slowly changes his views about himself and people around him. And yes the physical changes are the least of it, his mental restraints have been a lot more inhibiting and will take longer to lose. But he'll get there eventually, with help from Jacob and others.
