    Story

Please tell me what to do to get some of those elves to stay at my house.
  2. So sad and scary that it gripped my heart with icy fingers, only to have them melt and my with-held breath released with smiling relief as Manny was saved. It was also a gift to his parents who got their son back from the brink of despair. Holiday times are hard on those with little hope, but at least there was a ray of divine caring to be found here.

    Chapter 1

The wisest gift of all is the one you truly need rather that what you mistakenly wish for. She wants her son to be happy and she finally found the right words to express this.

    Story

Eric's frustration at Thomas' unjust behavior was quite understandable, but I'm glad he got rewarded for his patience.

    Story

Such a beautiful and satisfying tale of two men who find their way to love in homage to the old ways of celebrating Yule Tide. I hope they can find a way to be happy together in the village.

    Story

That was hot and romantic at the same time, awesome. I'm glad you gave us the hope that mutual love was a distinct possibility in their future.

  9. Tillykke med fødselsdagen, Litlover frantic waving of Danish birthday flags and thanks for creating the topic MGK, I looked for one this morning, but had to send a PM instead.
  10. The parent/teacher meeting was almost over. If Richard was going to do this, he had to make a move. Taking a deep breath, he stood up as Mr. Morrison, the head teacher, asked, “Are there any other matters to be discussed? Yes, Mr. Donaldson?” Richard ignored the intonation hinting at surprise and perhaps dissatisfaction that the most junior of the school’s teachers would dare to speak up without having cleared it with the senior staff member. Mr. Morrison might believe he ran Eldorado High Scho

    Twins in town

I’m sorry it took me such a long time to reply to this review. I liked it tremendously and wanted to do it justice in return. Thank you for praising the technical sex talk. It’s something of a pet peeve for me how much it’s glossed over in most gay fiction I’ve read – well, to be honest also in straight porn involving anal sex. I know we don’t want graphic details, but I prefer if there’s at least a plausible interlude, such as a shower or other hints of preparations made. Just enough to make inexperienced readers think ‘OK, I need to find out what all-out sex entails apart from buying lube and condoms.’ And I simply love your conclusion about ‘knowledge = confidence = comfort = enjoyment.’ Oh, and you’re right about the impatience, of course. It’s wonderful when reviews make you see the story in a new light, isn’t it? I had the same feeling you did about AC’s review for this chapter, but yours also had me discover new details. You’re right about Russ staying himself, but at the same time getting new insights which will unfold further growth into the man he’s meant to be. He’s noticing things and relating to them, rather than shutting the world out. And of course, most of his thoughts revolve around Jacob and their love. Not surprisingly, most of Jacob’s thoughts and wants revolve around Russ too, and I don’t know where he gets the will power to wait. He wants to make love to (= fuck) Russ so badly.
  14. Well, we're all trying to forget that terrible cliff hanger you did on us, Adi.

    Late August

I agree with AC. concerning Austin. Toph may think neither of them wanted to be boyfriends, but Austin might have developed feelings for Toph if he hadn't been too closed off. However, it was probably for the best, since Austin was still a tie to his old Euphoria life which Toph is determined to escape.
  16. Oh, Toph you really don't have any experience with friendly guys who are interested in you, eh? I love the slow pace of this story, letting us explore Toph and all his small, understandable quirks. I think he's doing very well even though Mr. Sociable thinks he's stand-offish.

    Chapter 14.

I think this may be my favorite chapter of this story. Jeremy was so clever and saved Jarrod's life, because he knew exactly what to do. It was very intense but also wonderfully serene.
  18. Well, I guess I assumed he'd die, since the story is marked Complete, but I suppose you could tell what happened in another anthology piece or even a prompt. But to me he was a very rational and cool customer, realizing his chances of surviving this drop are slim. Being unconscious before the impact happens is better, also because it's actually safer to be relaxed if you're getting thrown around. So his choice was logical and I liked that he thought of a happy memory before he zapped himself.

    Chapter 1

Ehm, Puppi... he dies. End of (Complete) story. But at least he didn't feel any more pain. I hope the mechanic is made to feel severe regrets, though.
  20. I think this may be one of my favorite reviews for this chapter. I wanted to show a more balanced relationship between the twins and between them and their guys, and from your reaction it seems I succeeded. I'm glad Evan has redeemed himself a little in your eyes. In fact he's always been aware of these issues, but he hasn't quite known what to do about Russ hiding behind him or feeling insecure.
  21. I can only agree: there's nothing much to like about Daddy Dearest. I’m glad you saw continued improvement and acceptance in Russ, and I think you’re right in saying Russ has developed more inner strength than he knows. I have no objections to your evaluation of Evan and the over-the-top scene in the airport. Thinking it over I realize it probably got that way because I was so relieved I’d managed to finish the Daddy confrontation scene (which was hard to write), that I became giddy and slightly silly. As a matter of fact my favorite part of the airport scene were the reactions of Jacob and Chris, so I’m all that it made you adore them.

  24. From ch. 21: I called Brent and must have woken him up, because he was groggy. “It’s three in the morning,” he grumbled. --- “Time to draw blood, Mr. Hayes,” a cute nurse said as she breezed into the room. “I didn’t know you had visitors.” --- I got back to the familiar house at six in the morning. What kind of hospital takes a blood sample around 4 am on a non-emergency patient ?? Weird...
  25. Tillykke med fødselsdagen (since there isn't one over in the Lounge, i'm gonna assume this is the official topic) Thanks for all your hard work in the CAP universe.
