    Chapter 8

Finally, they're working together as mates with the help of their most loyal friends. I'm counting on this to deal with any potential disaster awaiting. Nico in a suit, YUM Not surprised the king wanted a kiss.
  2. Maybe keep both and offer the old one to her once in a while. She may like variety in her food just like us.
  3. LOl, yes we do, and as @Kitt predicted Sablo may get Diego in trouble... And you're right about the potential for Sablo to be in trouble, too, but Diego hasn't let his brother down yet. Guess who's coming to dinner ? I'll let @aditus reply to the comment about Cupids.
  4. Those are very good points. One of the reasons I like @aditus world of Cupids and Guardian Angels combined with my Angels and Imps are the endless possibilities for fun.
  5. LOL, I hadn't quite considered the story twisted, but maybe @aditus and I are good at pushing each other to the edge. Glad you found the story interesting.
  6. Wouldn't that be a great chapter title. Actually, Døden kommer til middag is the name of a Danish murder mystery movie from 1964.
  7. Awesome - since it was the prompt by @comicfan which inspired the story.
  8. Thanks, always nice to have an enthusiastic reader. Did you read Cupid Central first ?
  9. What a wonderful compliment. Thank you, it made my day. I like to write about the cozy stuff in their lives and leave the drama on the edges, so to speak. You should see my notes about Patrick's relatives and the reasons for their nasty behavior, it's not pleasant reading. He's much better of not knowing, but some of it will come out eventually.
  10. LOL - I guess my chapter note did help. Hope you get home soon, I look forward to your reactions.
  11. I hope the chapter cheered you up. There were hardly any NSFW scenes, but maybe I should have put a warning on the next chapter. LEGO make us all like kids again, I have a few friends who buy LEGO for themselves not their kids. Of course we'd stare (and maybe drool a little) if we saw Peter and Patrck kissing. Yum.

    Loz

I'm glad Darren realized he was partially responsible for Loz having a hard time with being gay, and that he immediately called George on his bigoted language. This gave Loz the courage to stand up to him too. Their dad did the right thing with telling George he has to move out, because Loz doesn't need the added strain of his hateful behavior. Let's hope they've found a school where Loz can be himself and start over. Great chapter, Thorn.
  13. You mean like the Swedish Chef in the Muppet Show ? Also https://satwcomic.com/talk-to-me-2
  14. What kind of tree is it ?
  15. I think this chapter was great in letting us feel how their relationship develops. Not redundant at all, so it was a good decision to write it.
  16. If you haven't read any of Cia's Carthera stories, this is the perfect place to start. Jerret is a tiger Carthera, meaning he's more than human in strength and a few other abilities. But he's also lonely and a little shy - and gay. Somehow, he wormed his way into my heart, and I return to this story often to read about his meeting with Calix, who isn't at all like what he expects at first.

  17. Don'r forget another of my favorites:
  18. Probably. Did they have a bridge with a long rise and a sharp dip, and a barge struck a pillar, so the section with the dip fell down ? Hmm, I looked the Tasman bridge up, but it doesn't sound familiar. Perhaps my friend was worried a similar accident might occur on the bridge in Perth. I was told the story more than 25 years ago, so my memory could be at fault.
  19. I've finally finished preparing for work tomorrow, so no I can relax with a visit to GA and some story writing. LOL, well I think the bridge is OK now - although searching for the story brought up several articles asking Are Australia's bridges safe ?
  20. And the opposite side from all the flooding. Perth is the only city I know in SW Australia. I have a friend who lived there ages ago. He said going over the bridge over the river was always a bit scary, due to the accident where a section fell off during a foggy night. Hmm, trying to find some info about that accident, and failing. Am I getting the city wrong?
  21. I'm glad @droughtquake brought 'the retired social worker' up, then I don't have to. But of course an old, single, gay man would never be allowed to foster two teenage boys. The evil dirty minds of people would make all kinds of wrong assumptions about that scenario. I still think Robbie is better off keeping quiet about the assault for now, in spite of the obvious mental problems. if he could get some privacy to Skype with Tom, he might be able to tell him, once he's sworn him to secrecy. Oh, and his comment to Sue about not trusting her is fully justified IMO. Until she shows she's OK with Robbie being gay, she'll be in my black book. As for running off to Florida with Alex, Robbie may toy with the idea, but I think he's too sensible and too scared of Alex to do it. But he could offer to give him plenty of money, if he goes on his own, without Luke. It would probably be much easier for the social worker to find a foster home for Luke without Alex. But Luke will of course be distraught at being abandoned.
  22. Hear, hear. Hypnotic is one of my favorite stories too. I've always been fascinated by snakes.

    Taking Notes

You forgot to say you sometimes share those notes with us, making us beg to know more.

    Taking Notes

I've rarely had so many ideas, I needed to write them down, so as not to forget them. But I still use notes around my stories, mainly to make sure I follow up on hints from earlier chapters and don't contradict myself.

    Happenings

I think Brian's reaction at Eric's declaration was fine, and he didn't ask any silly questions at that time. It's his thoughts afterwards I'm shaking my head at.
