  1. I'm pretty sure there was a reference to Jay having a broken arm due to an accident with his bike. A teasing comment by his father or something like that. But I might be wrong, it's just as I read the story I thought 'Ah, so that's how Jay broke his arm and his bike.'
  2. Reviving my motivation / ability to write at all. No promises on this, though. If successful, to finish at least one of my In Progress stories. Write a joint Cupid Central / A.I. story with @aditus Write a sequel to my Tollbooth Operator story as per requested by Aditus in the critique blog.
  3. One of my favorite Young Adult fantasy writers is Diana Wynne Jones. In her Chrestomanci books, she explores the concept of parallel worlds which split off at crucial events in history. At one point Chrestomanci remarks he hates the one where Napoleon won the war with Britain, because everyone speak French and are rude to him (he's British). So if you write Chrestomanci fan fic you could have Alternate History worlds as a natural part.
  4. Hopefully, one day you'll be able to feel you're a guy who's having fun doing drag, or dressing up as a woman for a laugh or a play, or any other of the many reasons cis men have to wear a dress. But I can certainly see the point about having to validate your gender by the clothes you wear. We ALL wear clothes to make us feel good and accepted, to fit in at work, with our family, or friends etc.
  5. You're welcome @Renee Stevens I'm glad we've been able to help, including Cia who posted the reviews while you were focused on a more important part of your life. Godt Nytår fra Danmark and see you in 2019.
  6. Loved the statements you gave, especially the one pointing out the vile role of that B.... Well done, Carlos.
  7. for the lovely Christmas story, CG. I saved it for Boxing Day as my last and special Julegave this year.

    Cedric

Thanks for the scene. I noticed Geralt didn't try to help Cedric, he simply accepted his word that he was dying (and nothing could be done, I suppose). He didn't even hold his hand or touch him until he was dead. Rather cold IMO.
  9. Glædelig Jul og Godt Nytår, min ven. I can remember the Jay broke his arm and his bike incident being mentioned in the main story, and it was great to see it fleshed out through Jerry's eyes. I didn't realize the three siblings were so close in ages, but that explains why they are so tight in their relationship. I liked Jerry's way of telling the story, having those asides and random thoughts made me feel like I was siting next to him and hearing it told. Tak for julegaven, kære ven.
  10. Aaaw, thanks, Adi, what a lovely julegave. Luckily the suggestions for improvement are those things I also think could be better, including writing a sequel. I'm hoping to return to Frankie one day and get him out of that one-star motel.
  11. I'm sad that Robbie keeps pushing away the only adults who are genuinely concerned about him and can help. And I wish he'd stop pining after Nathan. Happy New Year, Dodger.
  12. Mostly fun, although I'm not sure about getting shifter kids to believe in Santa.

    Cedric

I'm glad they had the time together, too. And that the elf was under his oak and in Geralt's lap when he left the world.

    Chapter 12

all we can do is shun them and ridicule them https://satwcomic.com/ungodly-surprise
  15. Oh, yeah now I remember being quite confused in the first chapter, where he had just arrived in town a couple of months before and at the same time had played in the cafe for at least a year. But otherwise the story took off nicely from the start.

    Chapter 1

How could Landyn doubt Nico's motives and intentions ? And did they really discuss precog and Japanese sword fighting in front of the cab driver ?

    Chapter Nineteen

At least he can write the idiot off forever and focus on the people who care about him.
  18. I can vaguely recall this story too, but it may be time for a revisit.

    Chapter 17

Why would Mason think his father would investigate Liam ? It seems to me he's only been interested in Mason's house mates and potential boyfriends. He'd have to spend a lot of money to check up on all Mason's friends. But I guess Mason is overly suspicious of his father now. I'm surprised at both Clarissa and Deon saying 'I don't understand a lot of things' - but perhaps Deon used the same phrase, so as not to upset Clarissa any more. I can see his worry about the media attention, since they might use the opportunity to ask veiled questions about the trial. But what is it they need to 'understand' ? Even Liam and Neil use the word, and I find it really weird. If they need information about what transgender means, they can simply look it up. Their focus should be on the fact that someone hurt their friend, again, and that she's now exposed and vulnerable at uni. I'm not sure Daphne would want to see the people who witnessed Rick's humiliating behavior, even if they want to apologize. Not that they have anything to apologize for, unless they feel bad for not stopping Rick. They can tell Mason to tell Daphne they don't agree with Rick and that he's been thrown out of the club. Btw I think the latter may be a bad idea, since it may make Rick hate Daphne even more. Instead they should insist he see a counselor who specialize in LGBT issues and write an apology to Daphne, when he's repented of his sins. Anyway, let's hope Mason tells them, he and his friends needs more time to get over the confrontation, so he doesn't turn up where Jose is waiting for him.

    Chapter 1

LOL, you may want to repeat some of this in chapter 1 of the first Leopard story since that's where most of us got introduced to footy.

    Chapter 16

I think the one I was trying to find was this one, but for some reason it's not visible anymore. https://satwcomic.com/coffee It's listed on the page with all the Denmark comics, but when you click the link, there's only the 404 error. Edit: ha, it's visible now, so you can go enjoy ir. @Graeme

    Yaevinn

I agree - dominant elves are hot. I'm glad they had a nice time, twice.
  23. What a lovely julegave to start my Christmas holiday. Thank you, Parker.
