    Telling Christian to leave - good move. Sending Stephen's call to voicemail - not such a good move but understandable. Jumping to any conclusions about the supposed "Dr Death" thing except what he voiced to Christian - that if there were any basis he would have lost his licence to practice medicine - premature. Anton has few facts and high emotions right now - a disastrous combination for making decisions.

    I am still shaking my head that some bureaucratic bubble head approved public funds saying she couldn't work because she is fat. I'm overweight - why don't I get a check from the government? Wait - cause I WORK.

    As you said, he doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the shed - just as a tool. Perhaps it hasn't registered on him where he saw Stephen. It could have been something as innocuous to Stephen as the ED after Max had a drunken binge.

    Ok, now that I have finally caught up in reading the story I get to read the forum and comment. I always avoid a forum for fear of spoilers till I am up to speed. That may be leaving quite a few people out in the cold Tim! I might not have found the forum at all if Iomax had not included a link at the end of a chapter! I do tend to get a little preoccupied with editing chapters to be able to go site surfing. That is sort of the point of discussion threads! We all get to see what each other thinks and sometimes we even change our own opinions. Max strikes me as the sort that could easily turn physically abusive if his emotional abuse does not achieve his goals. Unfortunately there are many people out there, both male and female, who use every means they have to intimidate those around them for their own purposes. While it worries me that Christian may be feeling those effects, it worries me more what Max may do if he decides Anton is a threat to what he considers his property. Off topic is something we do fairly well around the forums. We should, however try to stay on topic, at least until we know how Iomax feels about our wandering off in his thread. One doesn't need to intend to be nasty to have a detrimental effect on someone close to them. That he was always trying to push Anton outside his safety zone would be enough to make someone with a phobia (an unreasoning fear) very uncomfortable. Just because a fear has no logical basis does not make it very real. We do not know if Christian is lying to Max. What we know is that Max is a posessive, possibly obsessive, man who will use his size and forceful demeanor to intimidate people. Those of us who have dealt with dates that have turned out similar to Max know that even the most innocent of mentions can key off extreme behaviors to protect what they think of as theirs. For those of you who have been fortunate enough to have never had to deal with stalker-ish personalities, be glad of it.

    No, but he is trustee to Ethen's four million dollar trust fund. That would give his opinions a bit of weight.

    These are still the planning stages for the wedding. Either boy or both may join them in England by the actual wedding date. I am sure at least JP and Steff will be on the guest list, if not more of the Crampton/Shulter clan. Perhaps Ethan will fly out with them?

    These are teenage boys - healthy diet usually does not have a huge part of their thought process. They are at the mall, so the food courts could provide quite the variety of greasy cheese burgers, loaded french fries, and just about anything else you might think of to feed them. You want something provocative? How about the barbecued pork skewers from the Chinese food place?

    Oh, but gentlemen, a certain amount of teasing is essential to maximum pleasure! Well, if you go read my original post on the subject - I called her a woman, not a lady. Any woman who would allow her son to be tossed out that way has not got enough class to be called a lady. We might grudgingly admit to her being a woman, but only because we have to!

    I know most of you gentlemen would not hit a woman except under the most extreme circumstances. I will volunteer for that duty and then stand by with ice and bandages for bruised knuckles if you take care of the step ass and Chump...I mean Chip.
