    I didn't mean to imply living the army base life was a bad thing, just that the kids seem to end up at the extremes with very little in between. Every single kid I ever met growing up was either a great kid like CJ or a complete military brat. And living in central NJ we had a lot of military kids around between Fort Dix, MaGuire AFB, Fort Monmouth, NWS Earle, and the Piccatiny Arsenal. Don't ever assume that sneaky authors are done with a character. Those are the characters that pop in unexpectedly to set all hell loose later in a story!

    From a reply to a review: CJ's a military kid because of his step dad (he was ok until we found out he's a homophobe, I dislike them people]. Every military kid I've know has always seemed more mature and in my boy's case I think it applies in spades. I think military kids go one of two ways, and not much in between. Either they turn out to be wonderfully secure and mature teens, or turn into super brats. There is a reason for the term "military brat"!. Fortunately for both CJ and his dad's he is one of the former. Oh, and I am thinking that the maturity happened in spite of the step-ass. I find it hard to believe that a man so homophobic that he would toss out the son he attempted to adopt doesn't have other shortcomings as well. We just haven't seen them in this story.

    Well done sir. CJ's actions towards Sean and again at the end show that "the kid will never figure it out" just ain't so. Sometimes the kids see these things long before the adults. There are gonna be some awkward times coming. Doc may be walking away from the relationship, but being Chip is the personal banker to Cesar and Brett, and presumably others of the eight, this will affect much more than just the couple. Would you bank with a man you feel is untrustworthy?

    No dugh, you misunderstood me. I am saying if we don't cheep at him he will think we are not hungry and go looking for another nest full to feed! That WE should be the noisy ones!

    NOPE! You should nag him! While I know the hows and whys, that does not excuse him from giving us the end of the story! I fully understand whats going on - but if we don't make pests of ourselves he will not know how much we appreciate him!

    We've had a few emails between his classes today - he's on it.

    Be patient. He checked his email from school and is aware of the problem. I am sure he will address it as soon as he can!

    try going to the drop down "Jump to" box, I think that is how WW accessed it. I can't say for sure it would work because as editor I have access to everything waiting to post as well.

    I was afraid that things would get messed up when he changed the postings! I have a note in to him both by email and skype letting him know so he can go fix things!

    Hi Eagle and welcome. We are almost as nuts here as we are in Gary's forum! Good Lord Carlos - do you have a corkboard over your writing spot to tack up pics and notes like a homicide squad's murder board to keep all your ducks in a row?

    Did I miss some rule that says a gay guy has to fit a certain physical profile? And here I thought sexual orientation had very little to do with size, shape or even a person's color! Sort of reinforces my belief that the most prejudiced people are usually members of the group being disrespected!
