    Christmas card happy family / happy Christmas pictures are posed. Holidays are meant to be together with family, not about the perfect dinner, gift or whatever it's become. As for being sick, I spent my son's first birthday entertaining him in the bathroom. I had a really bad case of stomache flu and didn't want to go far from the facilities. I also was so dizzy I couldn't walk. We raced cars around the tub, I hid toys under wash clothes for him to find. I was sick as a dog, and only remember the fun he had, and all the giggles, in the oddest place. BTW I envy the toolkit, it's been on my list for years and I still haven't gotten it.

    The German Shepard's I've met have all had a curve to the tail. Even the ones imported. I used to watch Gracie Bear chase her tail. She'd see it out of the corner of her eye and attack. What was even more hilarious was when she'd catch it. She never quite figured out it was her own tail.

    We have a fake tree. Unfortunately I'm allergic to conifers, particularly pine wood and cedar branches. Christmas with bronchitis is not fun. When my son was small, we made a set of ornaments each year, something small and easy for kids, usually from salt dough. We'd keep the best best two and toss the rest. He lost interest around third grade.

That is the idea behind bringing women and children out of poverty. is that by changing the hidden backbone of society, we change society. However, I do believe that "us versus them" needs to stop. WE are all human.

    You only have to look at your photographs to see the beauty and worth in your life. Your value isn't in how others see you, but in how you see you. It seems that you're hurting right now. I just wanted to know that I enjoy the pictures you post a lot, even if I don't leave a lot of comments.

    Although I'm in a large metroplex, I'm far enough out that you have to reserve the cab the day before and it's a minimum $20 for a ride. With the county pulling out of the rural bus service due to management embezzlement, Uber is the only other choice if you aren't on government assistance. (Those with medicaid/medicare can get medical rides.)

    *hugs* Female issues are scary. Mostly because older generations didn't talk about them so we have no idea, and when they did it's wrong. Unfortunately it's a lot of wait and see, but I've come to realize that waiting is better than the alternative of surgery now. I hope it works well for you.

    The mouth guards I've bought for my boy state that they protect against chipping, not loose teeth. The single tooth may be more a matter of time than pride. It takes two dentist visits to get a crown, as it takes time to make the crown. It may be the same with a replacement tooth. Professional teams are on the road a lot, so they may have to wait until the season ends to be able to see the dentist twice? Also, Pittsburgh Pirates are the baseball team. The hockey team are the Penguins.

    I love my Asus Eeebook. Blazing fast start up. It's not a gaming computer by any means, but it's good for web browsing, word processing, and runs my virtual labs as well as the desktops. It only has a 32G SSD, no other hard drive. There is a micro SDHC slot which I have a 16G card in for storage. My only complaint is the size and location of the track pad, makes it easy to accidentally click on another window. I have a wireless USB mouse I use instead of the track pad.

    How long does the doctor think it will take to adjust to the meds? A week or two? Months? If it shouldn't take too long, then you should wait. If it will take months, it may be time to look at other medicines and see if something new is available that might work better. I hope it works for you.
