These two are great together. Jerry needs someone like Chris to keep him from doing some serious damage. Good thing Kyle was there to keep the grumpy guy in line. It could have been a lot worse. I really enjoyed this.

What a cute story! It reminds me of the time a college friend of mine decided to do the Russian Cossack dance in the middle of the grocery store... Talk about getting funny looks...lol I'm a bit of a klutz too, but not quite that bad...lol I love how Chris just patiently rolls with it, and their ultimate deal. Very funny story.

Twoey was definitely not ready, but at least realizes that it was his decision, too. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Will Erik move on to the next guy now that he's had him, or will he want more? I'm really enjoying this story. There's so much complexity to these characters and I look forward to seeing where it goes. -

I loved it when David let Pastor Pig-Fucker have it! lol The encounter at the park was interesting...I'm guessing that a lot more happens at that park besides 'reflecting' near the lake. Maybe Donny is in the same boat as Danny? Only one way to find out...on to the next chapter! -

You had me cracking up at "Mormon first base" David is leading Kathy on, even if he is oblivious to that fact. He needs to come clean with her sooner rather than later. Holding her hand?? C'mon, David...friends don't hold hands! lol I really feel for Danny. I agree with the other reviewers that something is going on that doesn't sound all that savory. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next. -
I hadn't planned on continuing, but you never know what the antho themes will inspire. I'm glad you liked all the classic horror elements. I went in a different direction than what I had originally envisioned for this story, and the lack of memory came into play more in that scenario. Thanks for the great review. I always love reading your comments.

Whew...great chapter, Lit! I was worried that something was going to happen to Merrick to force Jenson's hand. I know that's still a possibility, but at least he's safe for this chapter... It sounds like Jenson is slowly starting to move on. Maybe the thought of losing Merrick will allow him to finally admit and act on his feelings. I hope there's not too many more of these flauros out there. Yikes.

This was a wonderful chapter. I know I said it last time, but I'll say it again...your writing is really growing. You've produced a very special, remarkable story. Andy is an amazing young man. The part about him in church brought tears to my eyes. His innate goodness and joy in things that most people take for granted is a breath of fresh air. No wonder Zander is so smitten with him. Well done, my friend. -

I just finished reading all the stories. There are some really great stories in here. It's great to see such a variety of authors participating and also to see some new faces. Every submission is well worth the read. I think I need a cup of chamomile and some mindless TV watching to settle my brain now...lol -
Wow...that was intense! You brought tears to my eyes. His love for David not only brought him back from the brink, but apparently healed whatever caused his almost demise. Great story, Gary. With writing like this, it's no surprise you were promoted.

This story was horrifying, yet gratifying at the end. The two men may not have been model citizens, but they didn't deserve what happened to them. I'm glad they were reunited at the end. Well done, my friend!

Thanks, Defiance When I wrote this, it was very windy and dark outside, so there were lots of creaks and noises, and the cats were freaking out over every little thing. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares that night. lol

O.O You had me so drawn into the story, hoping that he'd stun whatever beast was hunting him and that effing Anslaugh or someone heard the distress beacon and would come and rescue him...then BLAM...he sets his phaser on himself... Like other reviewers, I was hoping that it might be the start of a new antho series. There is always the possibility that he had it set on 'stun'. Right? Great story, Cia.

I enjoyed this story, Drew. Good for Luke for not giving up on his friend. I'd like to think that Adam will eventually accept his friend and not throw away so many years of good friendship. Nice job

I thought you did a fantastic job with this story. You built a believable world in a very short period of time. The futility and then hope really shone through. I'd love to read more.

What a powerful story, Addy. My heart broke for both men. The joy of having Romeo survive, only to be crushed by the realization that he lost him anyway. You portrayed Romeo's issues very realistically. With injuries of that extent, memory loss and some kind of impairment is pretty much assured. The body is an amazing thing though, and continues to heal long after we think it's stopped. You gave us hope at the end, when I had thought that Romeo and Julian were lost to each other. I should know better, though. Love will find a way. Very nicely done, my friend.
