Congrats on Chapter 50 You've reached a milestone of your own with this chapter. It's nice to see Andy settling in and doing normal teenager things - like getting his permit. I'm a little surprised that Mr. Stevenson had him on the road immediately and not in an empty parking lot first, but maybe he knew that Andy had driven the farm equipment before. Maybe it's everything that has happened to Andy in his past, but I can't help feeling that we're in a bit a of a lull before the storm...the issue of his father's death hasn't been resolved and I'm very curious as to what is going to happen with that. I think with the Stevensons having his back, he'll have a lot more confidence to face the future than he ever has before. Great chapter

College, My Schedule, And My Future

Is there an Intro to Engineering course or something similar that gives you an overview of the different types of fields you could go into? Gary has some good advice to maybe start with something that gives you some leeway if you start one thing and decide you want to take a different track. I'm currently on my second career, although I don't regret my first one for a minute. I went back to school ten years after earning my associates/bachelor's degrees to earn my masters in a completely different field. I don't regret that decision, either. Good luck. You'll do great no matter what you decide! -

Galen's actually trying to do the right thing with Ethan. He hasn't seen him since right before the wedding and the lack of communication is sudden and, to our current knowledge, unprovoked. Galen knows he needs to break up with him and is trying to that in the best way possible - not that there is an easy way to break someone's heart, but he isn't going to do it over voicemail. I plead the fifth on when any pulling of heads out of asses will occur... lol Have faith that I will make everything right...eventually. Thanks for reading and the review. Galen After the wedding, preparing for an upcoming trial for my job took all of my time. It was the worst possible timing as far as my personal life was concerned. Andy is starting to heal, thanks to the counselor and Zander. He still has a long road ahead of him, but he's on the right path now. The ending was so sweet. Another great chapter.

David Bowie was an incredible man. So talented and such an inspiration. I loved his music and his acting. Labyrinth is one of my all-time favorite movies. He will be missed.

I agree with Adi, AC. It was definitely the right decision not to edit your early piece. It's interesting to look back and see how we progress as writers. I was just reading some of my early prompt responses and cringing at some of the errors. lol I'm not going to fix them, though.

I always look forward to the first Wed of the month and the Ask an Author feature. It's nice to get to know the authors a little bit better. Aditus' "Red Running Shoes" is one of my absolute favorite stories on this site. It's well worth the read, if anyone hasn't read it yet. Jonah ranks as one of my favorite and most memorable characters I have read. I'm going to have to read it again someday.

What a sweet chapter Andy is such a good soul. I think he'll really start to blossom under the Stevenson's care. It's good that he's got a counselor that he feels comfortable with. He's got so much that he needs to process and a counselor will be invaluable for that. Great job
