After all this, who says he's still going to want to be a priest?

With Lorraine, he "saw" the trajectory, but also explained in science how and why. Will be do that with these two as well? It seems like he sees more than just the path, but hidden elements that cause the path he sees.

We all know it will. War is war. And look at who is writing it 😜 I just hope it's not long before the boys have the home they deserve. Huntington needs killing, and soon.
-
Oh, those poor boys. As if they haven't been through enough, they are torn from their forever home before they even get to it. Well, not the home, but the parents.

How did they override Ases order to protect from intruders? Garjah said Ases already ordered it...and Bouncer didn't catch the intruders coming either? Very weird. There are a lot of questions to be answered!

Oh, i didn't mean her being bad, just being in the fight with Sebastian, as her skills and talents would be different. It would be hard to integrate her into a fight scene that wasnt one on one though, i would think. I definitely enjoyed the whole story!

The only thing missing from this perfect chapter is...i was hoping Nat Chusi would be in the fray! And possibly the other non-wolf shifters. Would have been even more interesting! Even without that, its a wonderful chapter, thank you. Scott

Interesting. Certainly a piece of the puzzle still missing. I think Bruce did a lot of things to a lot more people than anyone realizes yet. And if he's in jail, only a limited number of people would have access to him...hmmm. Maybe his wife knows the truth now and handled business lol. Scottie

I tend not to comment due to the poor signal at my place, it usually wont let me. Sometimes it wont even let me like it! But i do enjoy your writing. This story was definitely unique, and i liked reading it. Thank you for sharing it with us! Scottie

I hope things work out in your favor. Get well, be well.

I didnt get a notification either. I've had it happen with a couple different stories.

I really love this story. I was a bit disappointed in Pete and Jimmy allowing the haters to win though. No one living in his sister's home treated them badly, and the foul ones wouldn't be back, but he took the time he could have spent with the loving part of his family away from all of them. I understand the decision, but disappointed too. Thank you for sharing this with us! Doing a great job. Scottie

This story originally caught my eye because, as a kid, I had a book called Scuffy the Tugboat. I'm very glad it did! I really enjoyed the boys as they were rescued into a loving home, and all that went with it. Thank you for sharing it with us. Scottie

I love all your stories, but this one I think is the one with the most emotional depth for me personally. Happiness to wish for in all our lives. Thank you for sharing it with us. As long as you are writing, I'll be reading, even if I don't comment much! New readers of Wayne's work-look up all his stories! All well worth the time to read! Scottie

I lived in Charleston for 10 years, left a year and a half ago. Loved it! The restaurant I worked in when I first got there had Lobster Bisque that was phenomenal, so I never tried She Crab Soup. After the Bisque, I was afraid I'd be disappointed! But with the oysters, I was under the impression that the months with an R thing was to prevent over-fishing and decimating the populations of the oysters and clams. No idea how true that is, just thought I'd share. Love this story! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Scottie

Great story!! Absolutely loved it! I hope they allow part 2, but if not, is there a blog we can still read it on? Thank you for sharing Specter!! Scottie

I guess they had to get it from somewhere lol. We shall see whether it's a spring shower or a hurricane! 😂

Too late for me, just from the little we know of her...

Personally, I like longer chapters, but the story should dictate how long it is. On another note, many of us have gone through this. I thought I could fake it and be happy until I finally figured out that it wasn't possible to live a lie and be happy. I finally came out at 26, and was surprised at how accepting my very Catholic family was. But living the lie just makes you miserable, and ends up making everyone around you miserable as well.

Love this story! Thank you! As for family loyalty, ours is, to a degree. I don't talk to my older brother much as we don't get along, but still would there if he had need. My 2 older sisters, absolutely, anything I could do if they needed help. But we are still family, even when we squabble or disagree. My entire family (besides me) is on the conservative side of politics, so believe me when I say there are a few disagreements until we stop talking politics lol.

I can understand his reticence, my 30 year class reunion is this month, and there are still people I would choose not to associate with. Enough so that I have never attended a class reunion. It is very hard to get over being bullied like that. To the authors, great story! I really enjoy Fridays now!

you mean there are more important things than giving us this wonderful story on Wed Briefs?!? lol Scottie

I love this whole story, from the very beginning. I somehow missed this chapter and read the next one first LOL. True love (on more than 1 front), family, adopting kids that need love...this story has everything I love reading about! And I think it is perfectly ok for Levi to spar with Nan, as long as he knows that she's the only "old lady" he can do that with. Just like Kaleb did when he was younger (and still does!). Scottie
