Rainstorms make me wish I lived in a house with a lovely wide porch. I'd sit in a comfy chair and just watch and listen to the rain as it fell. Something about that is just so peaceful and calming. My balcony just doesn't quite measure up... *sigh* Gary, thanks for the images this invokes.

Good to see Dave and Terry as well as Barry and Cathy, getting a happy ending. This was a really good story with good - mostly - characters who were willing to work and share to bring about a hopeful future for all. As always, nicely done.

Let's get this out of the way: This is an Adi story of that I have no doubt. Next, thanks for including the recipe for the oatmeal dish. Tried to google it, but Mr. Google must be napping because I had no luck. Now for the tale itself. I definitely feel that Tom cheated on Peter. Sure there relationship was over but it hadn't ended officially so Tom should not have been mucking about kissing another man. I'm happy that Peter was able to put that part of his life behind him and move on so happily. As for Tom? I find I'm not to concerned with his welfare....

This is worse than I thought, me thinks. Just who is this man that has Daniel? Only bright spot- if you can call it that - is that Daniel seems to know who he is and that someone is supposed to be keeping tabs on him. Will that be a help to finding Daniel? I can only hope....

Warm fuzzies abound in this one! Loved it, just loved it! :D Ben is a wonderful guy for fulfilling Cam's dream to fly. I like too that he took the time to head off - by telling Cam he checked the ice several time and outfitted Cam with a seatbelt and helmet - any concern Cam might have had about being on the ice in a wheelchair. His caring and considerate side really shines through with these gestures. I cried happy tears reading this it was just that beautiful and I second purrbaby that we need to hear more from these two guys. Nicely done Adi, nicely done.

Fake tree. Easier and not messy. Bonus: the white lights are a part of the tree so one less thing to put on it. Funny thing about fake trees. Everyone I know always says that cats will only climb real trees. I wish somebody had told my cat that because he climbed it when he was a kitten and wouldn't let go of the trunk (quite a ways up, he was) when I went to pull him off of it. Tug of war ensued but I won. As for the decorations: angels, crystal snowflakes and birds and bells along with a few more odds and sods that have no theme whatsoever

I think Lyssa put it in a nutshell for me. The vivid descriptions and yes, I did google spanish moss laden live oaks to see what they looked liked - had me feeling as if I was on that road too and seeing all the same sights. Google was kind enough to supply a wide variety of scenes to showcase these trees. Very peaceful and a bit humbling too. The blonde's forwardness could have served to set off warning bells, but I think his explanation hit exactly the right mark. He's just like our biker. A man who doesn't believe in wasting time or beating around the bush.
