Hey tim Quite the pair Jack and John. True polar opposites and I am glad that John lost his naivete (at least some anyway) early enough so he could escape Jack's influence...and who knows what else. If he hadn't, I fear he might have ended up as one of his victims *shudder* The older, stronger and more self-assured John finally stood up to Jack and did what needed to be done - it really was a case of it's him or me, so no need to waste any tears on Jack, that's for sure. I admire how John was able to do what was right for Tommy by putting Tommy's dreams (the river side house, the willow tree) ahead of his own. A complex story with a lot going on but still, it was tightly woven together. As always, nicely done.
