Chris is getting more training and his powers are growing rapidly. His grandfather is preparing to enter elven lands soon. I have an idea that will be very difficult if something isn't done to stop the Blood Army. I wonder if Chris will be able to learn enough to help Victor fight the Blood Army and stop their disruptive actions. I was happy that August is doing his best to help.

This new development with the Blood Army will make it much more difficult for Victor and William to accompany Chris to the elven realm. I wonder how this will work out. Chris needs the training, and dad and Victor need to fight the Blood Army.

Yep! It wasn't a one time only match between Leo and August. Leo may not be a 10 on the gay scale of sexuality, but he is on the 10 scale for August. Great chapter. I still don't know what to think about the nature of the storm.

Well Chris didn't throw any water balls at Henry, but he did win the match. I do wonder what he will do in a match up with Raymond. The storm sounds like it will be vicious. Will there be any unexpected dangers from it? Is it just a regular storm or something conjured with magic?

I can picture the next match with Henry now. Chris will match Henry's speed, then throw a water ball at his face to distract Henry. It's going to be fun to watch. We may have to wait a while, since use of an elemental nature might give away the existence of elves. King ZoHal may not be his father, but makes a good grandfather. Think of the shock on William's face when he learns that he married an elven princess!

This explains why Chris' mental healing was faster than normal. He did have a lot of help, but the pendant probably helped him when he was reading the first black book in the tower. So Chris is an elf and The Lost Prince. I suppose my guess that ZoHal was his father was wrong. It does seem that not only is he very powerful, but probably the focus of a prophecy. I wonder how Leo, Victor and William will react when they find out about Chris.

I think meeting King ZoHal has brought some changes to Chris. I can't wait to see what happens next. What will be revealed the next time he is in the tower?

This seems to confirm that Chris is a supernatural with powers. He probably is an elf and, since he is a prince, is the son of King ZoHal. After all Chris and the King both smell of lavender and roses. Chris is not dreaming or having visions of the Tower of Knowledge. He has traveled thru the veil to the place elves came to after they left our reality. Great chapter!

It is interesting that August was chosen/choose to pair with Leo. Is it a one time occurrence or a portent of things to come? Dinner went well, although like travlbug I got a laugh at a vampire eating take out Chinese food. The planned sleepover also sounds fun. I was at first concerned about another black book in the tower, but it seemed benign and helpful to Chris. I wonder why he didn't look out the windows again.

I can understand @travlbug's concern, but think that Victor would have had some compassion on the vampires if they had warranted it. I believe the rogue elders would have no compulsion recruiting new members for the Blood Army from the most evil dregs of human society. The humans may have been compelled to target Chris, but they also had a history of abuse with the innocent guy they raped before. I would have no mercy for them. The compulsion would not have caused them rape Chris, just set him up as a target. It is good to see Chris is past some of his darkest moments and reassuring his dad he won't commit suicide.

Stoker University is a fun name for the university that tops Chris' list. I wonder how many of the award winning staff are vampires. I bet it is the center for research on Nublood advances. It really is nice to see Chris beginning to heal.

Chris is making some progress. Dr. Rodriguez counseling seems to have opened the door for Chris. I hope he continues his visits. Instinctively Chris is doing some things to help himself. He is trying to get back to a regular routine so he doesn't feel so out of place. He is also not letting Victor assume the responsibility for the attack. Chris is right when he said their relationship would be damaged if Victor constantly tried to protect Chris from harm by not leaving Chris' side. Chris needs the ability to stand by himself.

The black book is very worrisome. I think that Chris feels its power and is enticed by its cold feelingless power. It currently matches how he feels, but will not lead to his happiness. He needs to be able to feel happy again. Dad, Victor and Leo need to work hard on giving Chris those feelings back before he will heal. I hope that will be soon, but feel the next few chapters will not get him there yet.

I'll vote for the leopard pattern. Do they make Speedos in Jaguar pattern?

I have no clue why Chris' barrier is so strong, although I am intrigued by comments it is an elvish defense. I hope that Chris' memories are still there and will lead to some answers to the crime that was committed. I also worry that the test results for STDs has not come back from the lab yet.

After murder, rape is one of the most heinous crime. What Chris suffered will take a lot of healing. It will take a lot of time, patience and love from his family to get him healed to the point he can function somewhat normally. Victor can risk going into Chris' mind at this point, but maybe later he will be able to help him using his powers. As vulnerable as he is now, he might be thinking of turning as a way of defending himself. Again, this would not be good. Since there are elves about, they might also be able to assist in his healing. I'm sure if they know about the attack they will also be out for revenge/justice. Personally, I would suggest a sex change without pain killers for the rapists. When they are healed, banish them to where ever the demons went for further punishment as long as they survive.

I enjoy this offering very much. It doesn't hurt you have great taste in music. EXO is an excellent example for this piece. Few K-pop groups are as good as this in producing great music and videos. Like Gary, I enjoy a story that is written with a clear spotlight that doesn't stuff you with too much information about characters or descriptions. Giving the job of dispersing information slowly in a controlled manner using other characters when they are in the spotlight makes the story cohesive and flow well. Terry

A fun action packed short. You did a great job turning the prompt into a story. I just hope when you mind was wiped, they didn't wipe out any new characters or stories you are creating.

So poisoning is allowed. That means someone probably wants, and arranged for, Rafe and Dylan to face off. Things should be very interesting in the next match. I do wonder why it seems impossible for Joe to get Dylan to move when she has her feet planted. So far it has been an exciting meet.

Chris will be in a terrible state of mind when he gets back to Victor, William and Leo. I hope that none of the abductors had any STDs. I was at least relieved that they had been captured before anything worse happened to Chris. I hope Henry can investigate the crime scene for any evidence that leads to the drug dealer, or any other victims.

I hope there is a clean up squad to pick up the mess left after Victor and/or Henry get through with these guys. There will be a lot of pieces to pick up if they hurt Chris. All started well, but now we are left with a cliffhanger. At least I don't have to wait long.😁

Training with Henry must be exhausting. The sparring match between Victor and Henry was exciting. Henry's story about being turned was also well written. I hope their training will make the next encounter with rogue vamps less dangerous.
