Gosh Cid has more issues than an encyclopedia has topics , I’m sure they’re grounded in reason though.

His hesitance is valid , but leaving Ryder with his parents , who he’s just found out have lied to Ollie for years , and his father who apparently actively dislikes Ryder could be infinitely worse . Or the parents may see Ryder , have a revelation and realize what idiots they have been ? Likely? Maybe not!

They do have a place , the house in the cemetery and although it has almost tragic connotations at the moment , it also has good memories , Ollie could hang there after school and they could hire someone for the rest of the time ( money doesn’t seem to be an object) . I don’t believe I would trust a fragile Ryder to the weirdness that has become Teddy’s parents. Building the relationship without recrimination is essential .

Well their tribulations are at an end for now . I wonder how Grandma will react to the wrapped up Vampire , when he is presented ?

In a world that’s suffering from ‘compassion fatigue ‘ , this collaboration certainly is thought provoking and uplifting .

Great Chapter , seems Klaus’s usually unasssilable emotions may be heading towards suffering some Collateral Damage.

It did ! And although it assisted in me promising never to wear anther uniform again , I did get stuck wearing Bibs and Gowns almost daily. I suppose something did rub off on me then after all!

South Africa, although we were already a Republic , the school system was very British based , staid , uniform and uniformed, regimented and stifling .

Teddy and Ryder seem to be filled with ao much guilt and pain. Communication is bringing it out into the open and they can st least start attempting to deal with it,

Neither boy has in fact come out to the school at large , but they seem to have been outed from there association with each other and Deanna’s outburst . It doesn’t look like it bodes well for either of them right now . Their interaction is heartwarming though , so is the support of Wilson and Dean. What is it with Carter ? I still can’t pin him down !

Goodness , didn’t he join this school to increase his access to academic pursuits and to avoid being penalised by bring graded on a curve? Seems more like he’s entered s Dickensian workhouse rather than a school ( although schools were a great deal like this when I attended them , decades ago, out here in the colonies) I wonder what Mr Vaselly’s game really is?

Andy should have beaten Tyrone around the head with a wrench hours ago , that way he would be off his face at Church , worshipping on a dance- floor , rather than on his face , out cold on the bedroom floor . I find it difficult to empathize with Tyrone .

Bring a country / big animal vet , knows precious few office hours and no fixed surgery address . Being a parent and satisfying the obligations of parenting has its own set of challenges . The tensions found in both situations played off one another quite nicely , leading to a satisfactory conclusion and a restored status quo.

Great chapter! They need to communicate , not just talk to each other everyday . Then they would have answers for people like Rachel , and people may not feel it do necessary to interfere

Teddy’s parents did a great job with him , but they were so much younger , and not dealing with seeing their son put his life together again and the changes that wrought in him. Seems the honesty they shared with Teddy , took a backseat with Oliver and now the consequences are coming due . Teddy is at least 13 years older than Oliver , went to Med School , did internships , residencies etc , where would he find the time , energy or inclination to be the perfect brother and best friend to Oliver? Despite all the water under the bridge , it seems Teddy , Ryder and Oliver may just be good for each other . I have a feeling too , that Mike is not merely a meaningless placeholder in the developing story .

So they meet the demon , controlled by Maxthane ! I wonder if injuring the demon hurts it’s controller equally ? I hope that none of them dies because that Beetle character really needs the smirk wiped off his face ! Not ecstatic that we’re left hanging as a demon charges the trio .... the tribulations of being a reader ..... so hard sometimes .

A wonderful story , all the elements seeming to flow effortlessly to a surprising conclusion. I’d definitely want the mug back .

Goodness..... the temperature just rose and the morning turned quite sweltering , any more mates and there may just be a heat wave . Sex aside , the emotional bonding and dynamic between the wolves is fantastic too.

I’m really enjoying the dichotomy of brutally graphic and subtly layered characterization and the feeling of apprehension and expectation of where the story may be heading .

The gentle way the relationship is progressing is refreshing , even with the set back in bed store . Geoff’s growing confidence , his decision to tell his mother and meet Zoe , are astounding . A lovely chapter .
