I am very happy that the tension in the chapter kept you interested. Hope your chair is okay. Ellie was called an avenging warrior, or something like that, in a previous comment. April 16 Can you explain why negative times negative equals positive? Signs alike attract, my love, so it was ordained above. If I were to add unlike fractions together, can I cross-cancel? Anger rarely works, my dear: treat your fractions with good cheer. When I integrate, what part of the expression gets substituted? False are friends who promise much, better use the simpler touch. Thank you. I so liked the image you brought to mind; and I am sure Ellie would have relished it herself, had she not actually had to go through with firing a speargun at another human being. I am especially taken by April 16, and by April 20. April 17 is terrifically powerful, an indictment. My head fills with images and metaphors all from these lines. April 21 brings to mind skies that start out blue, but turn lifeless grey by midday. Thank you for sharing these.

Well, I hoped you were a little surprised, anyway. Ellie with the speargun...now that's scary. Getting shot with one of those is no joke. Kenny would be lucky to be alive. Then again, after Scott and Graham and Ellie and the police get done with him, maybe he would have preferred she aimed differently. I am glad it worked for you. Your reaction tells me you were a bit surprised by the turn of events. If you were at all tense and on the edge of your seat for a bit, then I am a happy writer. Thanks for your reading and careful questions. Scott cooperated fully, but did not answer questions that were unasked. Apparently, nobody investigating the murders saw the video. With Kenny down and out (you can bet Graham dialed 911 in a heartbeat), neither Kenny nor Marquez is going to get to use Scott for anything. I wonder if Graham, Scott and Ellie ever got anything to eat!

Everyone survived the pool party, but one wonders if Trey will survive the scrutiny Javier is likely to subject the boy to, and if Michael will die of embarrassment in the process. But in the end, we can have confidence the dads will be good to their son and his boyfriend. Thanks for reading, and for your comments.

Unquestionably, Wally is probably envious and trying to absorb his experience in Javier and Oscar's household. It is alien to anything he envisioned before he fled the dorms, yet this life clearly pulls at something deep in his heart. And you are right that Wally must ache knowing he missed out on what Michael and Trey are experiencing. You ask about happy endings: I cannot comment, except to say that I am not a fan of tragedy. Wally is undergoing development, perhaps. Maybe he's beginning to slough off the shell of his anger and hurt. At least enough to tell most of the truth to an innocent Michael. Thanks so much for continuing to read the story!
