    I wonder if Lee will come to understand the philosophy of Camp Refuge before he can screw things up? I know that people don't change overnight. Lee has had time to get to the place he is. It will take time to reverse the process. Hopefully the guys can be patient and understanding. This is Lee's story, but I enjoy reading bits about the other guys too! Thanks.

    The prologue confused me a bit, but it made sense after reading chapter one. I can't imagine surviving an airplane crash to end up on a deserted island (so far). I am curious to see how resourceful our survivors will be. Thanks.

    I love the feel-good nature of this story, however the "bad" things and people add depth and reality to the plot. And sadly those bad things and people are here in the real world. I applaud Brad's efforts to make life better for his kids. I also applaud your imagination for thinking of Sanctuary and all the wonderful characters that help with the building and running of the place! Thanks.

    Happy New Year! I thought it was sweet the way Brad gave out the extra tickets. I'm anxious to read about the kids' reaction to the play. I imagine the bus ride home will be noisy with excitement or quiet because the kids are all worn out! Thanks for another good chapter.

    Greetings Carlos! I was sorry to read about a death in your family. I assume by the date it was Mom. A crummy way to end a crummy year. On the bright side, as many others have commented, you are getting 2021 off to a great start! A visit to CJ's world is always a treat! And focusing on Ritch is terrific! He has always been a great little brother, but this is a chance for him to step out of CJ's shadow. I have no military experience, so this will also be a learning read for me.     Although I would still like to smack Rick's dad up side the head, I did enjoy the barbecue and the work day when Heinrich was having to take more than he dished out. I am surprised Rick hasn't just walked away from the business long before now. And Willy was waiting in the wings, but we didn't know his secret identity was SexyHunk! 😂😂😂😂😂 Now that he is in town things should really get interesting! Thanks.

    Tony and Brad are becoming a regular Abbott and Costello! The teasing and funny digs back and forth sound suspiciously like flirting... just saying. Even if he is a bit of a dervish, Brad is great at being able to delegate jobs and be confident the jobs will be carried out! That's a sign of a good leader.

    I have seen The Lion King on stage twice! It is beyond amazing! These kids are in for a real treat! I am glad Brad knows how important it is for grown-ups to keep their word when dealing with children. I believe it is essential for building trust. Thanks.

    This story is terrific! As usual, you have written memorable characters and excellent dialogue! I saw "50 First Dates" once upon a time and enjoyed it. I didn't know anything about Sheith and had to Google it. Except for the fact that I cried through the last quarter of the story, I really enjoyed it. It is hard to read when your vision is blurred by tears. 😭😭😭 I think you did an amazing job mashing these two sources together, and I agree that this was way better than the movie! It is always a pleasure to read a story you have written. Thanks.

    The fire has started! I hope Dad and Rita are about to fall into the frying pan! This chapter is delightful! I am a big fan of Rick's. I have been hoping he would tell off his dad and Rita! Irene gets extra points for supporting Rick! A most enjoyable chapter! Thanks.
