I missed this story earlier, so I binged through chapter five. Thank goodness I am retired and had nothing pressing to do this morning. Another story of yours with interesting characters. I really enjoy Pete's goodness and caring toward Bobby. I am interested in finding out more about Bobby's biological father and what happened to his mother. And I am excited to see how Pete's and Bobby's relationship grows. Thanks.

I loved this story! I love the experience of going to the theater almost as much as the movie! The upholstered seats, the dimming lights, the popcorn with the fake butter, I miss them all in this time of social distancing. The theater in my hometown had a large oval medallion in the ceiling. As the lights dimmed, it continued to glow, until it finally went out. Thanks for this little trip down memory lane. I could picture the Odeon perfectly from your descriptions.

I found this story and read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and their story as much as I have enjoyed your other stories. Once again you have written interesting characters that I quickly came to care about. I was impressed by Mark's caring and compassion for Billy. He really did save Billy's life. Thanks for sharing this most enjoyable short story!

Simon is quiet and a bit shy. He is dealing with coming out and finding a boyfriend. The story is well-written, with interesting characters, good dialogue, and a plot that has serious moments, humor, and sweetness. Be certain to read Chris191070's review. He did a great job describing the plot. And like him, I highly recommend this story!

Simon is a wonderful character, and I loved his story! You did a great job capturing his lack of confidence and his concerns about being gay. The adults were well-written. Dad could have easily become a caricature, but you carefully avoided taking him over the top. Mom and Niki were great! There was a nice contrast to their personalities, and I liked the way Niki was so supportive of Simon. Last and best were Simon's friends. The dialogue and interactions between them were first rate! Freddie and Vee had me laughing most of the time! And the romance between Simon and Jeff was slow, akward, confusing, and perfect! Especially the last scene in Jeff's bedroom! Thank you for finding GA and sharing this story! I look forward to reading your next story.

I got way behind, and spent the last few days bingeing about fifteen chapters. Aside from the wonderful story, the best part was not having to wait for the next chapter to post! I loved Puppy and Carlos and the huge supporting cast! You did a great job making your supporting players seem like real people and not just cardboard cutouts. And the amazing thing is you often did it with a few words and some good descriptions! This was a heartwarming story filled with people I would like to know! Thanks for sharing this story. I really enjoyed Damien's story! Your characters were interesting, and their dialogue was realistic. I was a bit surprised when I saw epilogue on this chapter, but it wrapped things up nicely. It also left room for more story, if you choose to revisit Damian, Dennis, and Bartek. Thanks.

When I started this chapter I realized how far behind I was. I have been bingeing the last couple of days to catch up. Although I am certain I have said it before, once again you write these very likeable characters! I am still really loving these guys and their story! You have really raised the stakes by adding the kidnapping attempt! I like the new security guys. They will add to the story. Thanks.

First, I have heard several "orange" comments and nicknames, but orange blob is a first for me, and I laughed outloud! Second, how do you pronounce Aja? I would guess being an older white male is a disadvantage here. There, the silliness is over. I really enjoyed reading Thiago's story. Back in the early days of friendship with CJ, I remember him as being more of a quiet guy. I liked what he had to say. Not for the first time, you have used these terrific characters and your wonderful storytelling ability to deliver meaningful discussion to social issues.
