Well, I wasn't certain I could continue to read about Hunter being horribly abused, but I couldn't stand not knowing if/how he could or would be rescued. Seeing that this chapter was Dale's POV made me decide to read on. I am glad I did! Thanks.

Once again your dialogue rang true! Sounds like the cadets will have some great memories of this trip! This chapter got me to thinking about my vacation in Puerto Vallarta, my only real visit to Mexico. I don't think a Grey Line day tour to Tijuana from San Diego counts. 😆 It was great to get a little CJ and Owen time! I have always been impressed by how the brothers love each other and have fun together. Thanks for more fun with this great group!

Andrew, Ryan, and the rest of the cast were a most engaging group! I enjoyed their story and all the many details you included about luxury lodges and charter sailing. Your writing style is easy and very readable! I am looking forward to book two! Thanks.

I still really like Jon, and Jason continues to grow on me. I don't suppose it will happen, but I would like to see Jason get rid of Jenna as a friend. She is very annoying, and her negativity keeps pulling Jason down. Thanks.

This has been a terrific fifteen, and I am hoping for fifteen more! I have grown really attached to these characters, and I am anxious to see what is next for them. Of course I am wanting some romance, and some sizzle, from Cyn and Shea! Do cernunnos sizzle? 🤭

This is beautifully written, very expressive, sad, and too often true. Endings with people are generally tough. Romantic endings even more so. Thanks Tim for sharing another of your poems.

I am a bit surprised, but by the end of this chapter I was beginning to warm up to Jason. Reading the prologue and the beginning of chapter one I was prepared to write him off as too negative, and not continue this story. Something changed, and I don't know what. Maybe it's Jon, who I liked right away. After reading the rest chapter one, I have a little sympathy for Jason, and I am curious to see if Jon can turn him into a human being. I am looking forward to reading more. Thanks.

What a terrific ending! Of course I am most happy that it leaves the door open for Lee and Avery to reconnect! I am also excited to find the guys, who started out as lost and mixed-up, have become a trucker and a cook! And from the hints, they are responsible men who have straightened themselves out. It's amazing what love and support can accomplish! Lee was right. They both needed to find themselves, before they could support each other. Once again you have written a wonderful story! And Camp Refuge has worked its magic! I like to compliment Carlos on his ability to create interesting, well-rounded characters and write great dialogue. If I haven't paid you the same compliment I am remiss. Maybe you and he were twins in a previous life. Whatever the reason, you are both terrific writers! Thanks, and I look forward to reading your next story!

Cadet Third Class • IV
JeffreyL commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Cadet Third Class • IV
One of the many things I love about the Dads, CJ, and family is how much they enjoy spending time together! I have said it before, but I feel you have an aptitude for character development and dialogue. It follows that these big gatherings of family (and friends) are so well written and so much fun to read! Thanks. -
I haven't commented in a while, but I am really enjoying this story! Once again you have interesting characters who work together to make something successful. They accomplish a lot by being kind and working hard. Thanks.

I don't know if I will be able to continue reading this story. I really like Hunter as a character, but Mayson is beyond despicable, and I just get angry when I read about what he is doing. I hope coach or Dale, or both, can help Hunter escape. Sorry.

Oooo! And the plot thickens! Chapter two and I am even more hooked! Your writing is very easy and readable. You don't give too much away. I love it! Thanks.

A couple of questions have been answered, but there is still a lot I want to know. This chapter left me feeling a bit sad at the end. Ethan is a most intriguing character! I am anxious to know more about him. This promises to be a really good story! Thanks.

I was certain we would get some answers about Maddie, but no, we get drama and a cliffhanger! Now to be patient for the next chapter. On the plus side, the new chapter is always worth the wait! Thanks.

Intrigue! Lots of questions and lots of potential answers! One chapter and I am totally hooked! Hurry and write more! Thanks.

Thanks for another really good chapter! I love Cyn and Shea, and I am enjoying their story so much! Your writing keeps me totally involved with them and this story.

Things are getting more interesting, but there is still a lot to find out! This just keeps getting better! Thanks.

I am already hooked! Brandon promises to be a terrific character! I hope besides his adventures in Australia, you will give us some information about his pack. Or you could save that for the next story! Thanks.

This chapter is an interesting beginning. You've used a mysterious tone and have left many questions unanswered. I am looking forward to seeing where this goes. Thanks.

All's well that ends well! This was a great ending to really good story! I wasn't certain at the beginning, but it quickly grew on me. I look forward to reading your next story! Thanks.

As we head for the home stretch I think things will be good for Lee. I agree that Avery spending time with Anna and Bill will be good for all three of them. I am glad Avery has realized his foster parents do love him. I'm not certain how I feel about Avery not being allowed in camp. Camp Refuge has been so good for Avery, and in my opinion so has Lee. And Avery has been good for Lee. Maybe some limited visits with support from Greg and counseling by Jeremy could make it a good thing for Lee and Avery. What a great chapter to a great story! Thanks.

Chapter one is very readable, and you created a lot of sympathy/empathy for James! I will definitely be back for the next chapter. Thanks.

Since "Rome" just ended, I was excited to see another story by you so soon! I enjoy your stories, and I look forward to seeing where this one goes! Thanks.

You have done a great job writing Cyn's innocence and wonder at the world around him! I also enjoy getting to read Cyn's and Shea's thoughts! This story continues to be really enjoyable. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this short story! The characters were well developed, the writing flowed well and was very readable. Best of all, to me, the story, although short, was very complete. It might be fun to read more about Rob, but I don't need more. Great story! Thanks.
