This was a terrific story from being to end! In spite of their struggles, I really enjoyed Jimmy and Sawyer and their story! You did a great job wrapping things up with this final chapter! I liked what Centexhairysub said. I could also handle a book two quite well. Thanks for this great adventure!

Well after entertaining us with a wonderful story full of clever side steps to keep us guessing, we suddenly have a lot of answers! You did a great job of bringing things together, but questions remain. As someone mentioned, it seems like this story is coming to an end. It is a little sad, but as long as you answer some more questions I'll be happy. Thanks for writing and sharing these great characters and their story! I look forward to reading the next chapter!.

Highway 50 runs basically east to west through Nevada. I forget what year, but Life magazine dubbed it "The Loneliest Road in America." You used to be able to get a "passport" and have it stamped at the Chamber of Commerce in five towns along the way. You then mailed it in and received a hat pin and a certificate stating "I survived the Loneliest Road in America. " Thanks for bringing back a fun memory and for more of Davey's story!

You did a great job introducing West and his family! We got some insight into their personalities and the family dynamic. I am curious to find out why they ended up in a small (?) town in Idaho, but I imagine that will come out later. Your writing style is very readable. I felt very much a part of the after-game celebration and the family car ride to the restaurant. I am also wondering if the two guys leaving was a chance encounter or a new character reveal for later. As I predicted in my comments on the prologue, this is going to be a good read! Thanks.

Thank you. I was going to compliment this prologue, and then complain about the untranslated quote at the end. Although I know bits and pieces of other languages, I am, sadly, a typical American only speaking English. But I am digressing. Your story is intriguing. I am hooked. On to chapter 9ne. This is a great introduction to David's story! I have a lot of questions, but you have been pretty stingy with your answers. 😄😄😄 I look forward to watching the mysteries unravel! I imagine you will do it slowly to keep us guessing. The good news for you is I am terrible at solving mysteries, and if you add a few red herrings I'll probably get sucked in and follow them. This promises to be a good read! Thanks.

Things are looking up for Hunter! I think staying with Dale will be good for him, and maybe it will help them admit they like each other as more than friends. With Evan moving to Hunter's and Dale's school he might give them a little push in the right direction too! I'm certain there will be more "bumps in the road" as Hunter recovers. I do worry about Olivia. She has shown her true colors, and revenge or retaliation seem likely. I have to say again after hating the beginning (Mayson) I am really enjoying how this story is moving forward! Maybe Dale, Hunter, and friends will play a part in Mayson's recovery!? Enough speculation. Thanks for more of this good story!

I am impressed with how honest and straightforward Scott is with his parents! I am looking forward to dinner and both sets of parents meeting. I makes me chuckle when Scott calls Brad's parents Mom and Dad, although there is one conversation in this chapter that confused me because of that. This is a good chapter! Weinerdog's observation is correct. Things are moving quickly between the boys. Thanks.

Scott is an interesting character! The dynamic of his family is not what I expected. I am wondering if Ronnie will turn out to be the Norse God mentioned in the introduction. Two chapters in one day is great! I am excited to follow Scott's journey! Thanks.

Margaret and Richard still don't see, or choose to not see, how destructive Margaret's words and actions are. I was intrigued by the idea that Margaret is blind to her own culture. I hope someone else notices how she acts and speaks up for the boys. Thanks for more of this really good story!

What a pleasure to have two visits to Italy in a short space of time! Toto and Michele are great characters! Your writing style is enjoyable and very readable! The two companion short stories were wonderful. I am glad the boys' friendship is mended. I liked the open-ended finish, and I liked the idea of a later story about the bad boys. It would be interesting to see what made them the way they are. Thanks.

Casper as a mage; I didn't see that coming. It opens up a whole lot of possibilities. It also makes me wonder if "Father" is a mage. Maybe that's why he can control his family. I am anxious to see how this affects Casper. Thanks.

This chapter was well written! You really kept my attention, gave some hints, and left a couple of new mysteries to solve! I read slowly so I wouldn't miss anything, and I reread parts for the same reason. Seems like vampirism is involved. Dad is covering up something with Uncle Mason. Is it too obvious to suspect Mr. Hunter of being a vampire hunter? Or does he have some other role like protecting Ethan? Why is Ethan having dreams that appear to involve Evan as a vampire? Does he have innate knowledge (I hope I used the term correctly!)? Aaaauuggghh! So many questions! I am hooked!! Thanks.
