Funny, I don't give a damn about Bailey's mom or the lawyer. Where is the someone to comfort and support Bailey? No other family, or friends from before? Of course Bailey has himself so walled off I don't know if he would let someone in. My hope is that somehow Declan will become that person. Your story is sad, but also so good! Thanks. Jeff

I wish I could remember a story I read. Lucas' comment about a contract made me think of it. The sub was young and wanted to be taught. The dom was older and experienced. He presented a contract to the young sub wannabe. If memory serves it detailed what was OK and what was not and included safe words. At the time it made me chuckle, but as I've read more I'd come to realize it makes sense. The important part of this story, as several people have mentioned, is we decide what is right for us. We being the key word. Still lovin' Joel and Lucas and their stories. Wouldn't mind catching up with Mason.

My sex life has always been pretty vanilla, so I have a hard time understanding Joel's point of view. However I absolutely love him as a character, and if he were my friend his sex life would be none of my business. I read some of the BDSM stories, and in most the dom is looking out for his/her sub. Things are consensual, and safe words are in place. What impressed me in this story was Lucas. He initiated things based upon what he knew about Joel's fantasies, and he looked after him to see that he stayed safe. This story doesn't surprise me, and it doesn't make me like these characters any less. I do wonder if Dean was a predator, and if Joel would have been safe without Lucas.

I am so pleased to see this caring side of Garrett. He started out as pretty much a total ass. Then he showed his protective side with his friend and little brother. And then becoming friends with Ryder and now this moment. Great character development! I am still holding out for Ryder facing and conquering his demons. What a good story! Thank you. Jeff

A CJ and company fix is always a good thing. As usual, there was a lot of fun stuff going on. If I haven't said it lately, your conversation writing is always spot on! To me the dialogue always seems realistic and never forced or stilted. Without meaning to sound whiny was this chapter a little shorter than usual? Maybe the problem was me devouring this latest installment. Anyway, thanks! Jeff

Those people who are family, but not by blood, are treasures. Liam is lucky to have this family who cares about him and loves him. Now maybe Marty is straight, but could be be gay for Liam? I was fortunate to spend a week in New York several years ago. The kids' trip brought back many fond memories. Thank you. It pleases me the way you pull the secondary characters into each chapter. There are getting to be so many, and you make them all so real, it must be hard to give them all some time. And is Levi new? I was too lazy to scroll back through all CJ's adventures to look for him. Bonus points to you for including Scott Hill in this chapter. "Love on the Rocks" is one of my favorite stories! That was a fun surprise! An honest, civil conversation between Liam and Alek was long overdue. Nice to see Liam get over some of his anger and for Alek to be honest in his feelings. Maybe this baby step will help clear a path to friendship for these two. And maybe a renewed romance? Thanks. Jeff

A fun trip and lots of family moments to enjoy. I know I've said it before, but if you decide to give up your day job, you might consider being a travel agent. The trips in your stories always sound so interesting and fun! And thanks for a moment with Brad. Glad to know are things working so far. Also thanks to Richie for "The Squad."

As I reread this chapter before proceeding to the next one I realised I never commented. I'd like to think I've already made it clear how much I enjoy these characters and and their story. So I'll just say thanks for writing.
