That’s How A Prince Does It
scrubber6620 commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in That’s How A Prince Does It
Great conclusion--a storybook, Disney-like ending , complete with horse drawn carriage. Sebastian is cured and he had great sex with Milo. They are going to be married. Great job on the Prince's proposal The parents on both sides are happy. Earth is fascinated by the other world. No problems seem evident. Pepin and Kai's child is growing and appears healthy on earth. He will need to go to the kingdom sometime after his birth, I assume. I am looking forward to the epilogue to smooth things out/ What a cjarming, pleasant fairy tale. -
Chapter 15: The Life of Andy
scrubber6620 commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 15: The Life of Andy
Ok, so how does Andy meet David-at an AA meeting or after one ?... at a meeting Kat arranges for them, after he confesses to her...? Where is Andy going now to get high and will he find David nearby? -
The bad guy was transferred. Karl will no longer be attacked verbally or physically. Karl described his present mindset and it was limited and not hopeful yet--He saw his way to survive as needing to handle his pain. "He thought about his roommates. They were just like him, except that they knew how to stave off the pain, something he would probably have to learn if he wanted to last there…"

What does this lottery accomplish? Does Peter Miller aid the prosperity and survival of the village or is this just a ceremony that seems to help the village with no practical consequence for the village? What happens to Peter when he reaches his goal? Is he going to survive, be a servant or food source? Is he going to meet the Gnos and what will they expect of him? Why does no one return? I am looking forward to reading much more.

Great Battle--Finn saved the day. Alpha Arista offers him refuge but says she does not trust him. She has heard before what he wants but does not believe him and that he wants to find his male among her pack. When she learns his intended mate is a lackadaisical, unwilling to acknowledge his wolf side, she will be even more unwilling to believe Finn. Plus Finn has to convince his mate who should become very afraid of him that he is really his mate. The Leeds pack may return with more forces and a new alpha to take on the York pack, Arista will need Finn .

I volunteered in college and met guys and gals mostly in their 20's-30's in a non-profit treatment facility for addicts. Several but not all joined the place after hitting rock bottom. A few were in jail drunk on their ass and one was an older not very appealing prostitute who had outlived her sell by date and had been beaten up. Two were older type guys who sold themselves on the street at first and then found that harder to do. One good looking young guy was sent to the place by a judge instead of jail and he knew he had to get out of his addiction to drugs or jail would be his future next time. He knew if he stayed at home, his friends would keep in a drugged life. They didn't want him to change. The head guy told me that people coming to his place had to see this as the path to take control of their life and that this was the right choice--sometimes the only choice. The door to the center was not locked. The people had to want to stay. Most of the counselors were former addicts. They had a retail store that sold donated clothing. The place was based on a successful San Francisco model which operated a restaurant with people being treated as restaurant workers. The people needed work habits and a basis for a resume. I did this about 12 years ago so it was before the homeless and drug addiction populations exploded.

Sounds like I am going to really want to read the next story with Sebastian as a minor part and the Sentinels not involved--Maybe they will be in your follow-on story to your next one-- Can't blame me for hoping--

Nat made the right suggestions to Sebastian and his mate and other Sentinels agreed. Sebastian will be the alpha of the large Montana pack and keep the Maryland territory and its members will be part of the US base of the High Council. The German castle will no longer be the HQ of the High Council. They still have to stop the international sites and find any sold pups and contain any human knowledge of the supernatural world and explore the mine and its contents. Any thrown away bodies have to be found. Sebastian has to decide what ii Caleb's punishment and what happens to Vann. Caleb is a real problem. I think he should be put down. Are you leading to a new story with Sebastian as high alpha?

Chapter 10 - End of an Era
scrubber6620 commented on Salander's story chapter in Chapter 10 - End of an Era
I can picture Meg plotting how to spin the breakup, so she looks great and Jake is a cheating cad or maybe a poor , indifferent lover with ED,Erectile Disfunction. I remember his ADHD medicine makes his dick go soft. She could take the initiative to get her spin out first and loudly. She might say she broke up with Jake. It could be a good and juicy gossip story at school. People might be watching Jake more closely to see who his new GF is? How will Jake react to the gossip that an era has ended badly? Will he seek out Nic since he is thinking about him a lot? -
Wow--a real turning point for David. He reached the absolute bottom and Jack, the former jaded don't get involved type detective , cared enough in retirement and acted at the right time to save David. I hope David stays in AA and can move on. One of the requirements of AA's 12 step program is that you reach out to all you have hurt and apologize. If he does that, what will David learn?

I want to see the text Alec is going to write to Finn now. Is he going to tell him how he sees him and let him know that he wants to be real friends. What small steps can he take? Ugh--Teenage drama made worse by opposite ways of growing up so relating is out of sync. Finn likes Alec. Alec does not accept it or even know what it means

Jimmy's comments telling Northman what he and CJ are discussing is above his security clearance is one simple way to dismiss him. Both CJ and Northman could have the same security clearance level. I bet both would have a Secret level clearance, but the level has not been identified so far so I am just guessing. To give CJ a higher or Top Secret clearance, he would have to be read into it, sign documents and be briefed on his obligations. We have not been told that upgrade happened Access to classified information is determined by a clearance level AND "need to know." He could have told Northman that he did not have a need to know about a specific matter. ( I am not adding in restricted or specially compartmented intel which is highly selective.) Northman would definitely not have a need to know about the operation against the Russian spy or that CJ's home had been bugged. All that would be tightly held to make sure the Russians were ignorant of US operations. Either or both terms would really bother Northman when CJ is specially talking with Intel types and make him wonder about Cj and if CJ is something other than what he claims to be.

Chapter 10 - End of an Era
scrubber6620 commented on Salander's story chapter in Chapter 10 - End of an Era
Hooray ! Jake barely held up under lots of pressure after caring for his drunk sister and took the critical step of breaking up with Meg over the phone. No more lies about a fake male/female relationship. He surprisingly acted and did not know what the consequences were and how Meg would spin it to make her look great and him a rat. "Instead of reminiscing about Meg, Jake ended up thinking about that last encounter with Nic for the first time in hours. Lately, being in any bathroom setting triggered an image of Nic, and this was no exception. He ended up showering for a very long time." Meg and her friends are going to be watching Meg and looking out for his other love interest. Meg is thinking Jake is cheating on her. Things will blow up if and when Jake and Nic are caught in a compromising situation or maybe just rumored to having sex. In the meantime, Jake has very troubled sister who needs his love and his help and is beyond his ability to treat . -
Chapter 13: The Letter
scrubber6620 commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 13: The Letter
What a revealing dead end-- Celia is a sad, twisted, hurtful person. She is living in a strange world with unreal expectations. The note was provocative and could have helped solve the case, if the person ( a young boy? ) saw enough of what happened. Celia by not giving the note to David was complicit in the crime and the further destruction of her former friend's marriage. She wrote back to the writer and said essentially--go away. Celia's actions seem to suggest he was not part of the car crime , nor did she attribute the crime to anyone she knew--like her husband. Her coverup was not aimed to protect anyone, only to hurt two people. Celia has hurt her soul and now lives in a hateful world. I agree with other comments here--David should have announced a reward after the killing. They had lots more money then. Is it too late to try offering a reward? Celia had written to the note writer and told that person he had moved on and not to ever contact them again. If the writer found out this earlier reply was false ( say from a current human interest newspaper story) he might contact David again. I am grasping at straws. I see a dead end that is hidden from all but Celia right now. I do like the alternative option mentioned by drpaladin that Frank find the note and confront Celia. He can argue with her and see her for the sick person she is. Could he give the note to David? -
Chapter 1: Evaluating Evidence
scrubber6620 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 1: Evaluating Evidence
I immediately felt calm , interested and welcomed to this continuation. The starting chapter set the framework and brought back most of the key players. I want to know what happens. That bastard has to get his just rewards, too.- 46 comments

Chapter 12: A Father’s Love
scrubber6620 commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 12: A Father’s Love
It is very hard to read this chapter. I want to find something that suggests a clue to the death after 6 years and it looks like nothing is showing up. Kat did not see any tie to the scammers and the earlier crime. Is there one? Can they be found and asked? They stood out as being more vicious than usual and may give themselves away if they fence his items. This story now is very dark and hopeless in its tone. it is tough to read and follow David's destruction and his destroyed marriage. If someone wanted to hurt Elisabeth and David to the core and bring them down and make them suffer, it has been done. David and Kat hugged and ...."consolidated their pain for just a little while..." felt something they should not have felt. Wow. David could only depend on Kat when he was beaten brutally. -
Bravo! Well done. Take a bow and receive our applause, please. This chapter was fast paced and tightly written. It ended on an almost conclusive optimistic tone. You drew things together and the good guys won and the High Council is helping, I was expecting from the nature of the latest chapters to find loose ends and misdirection's and uncertainty so we could all offer our opinions and with your further comments have a good time and some enjoyable laughs. We need to know about Caleb (did Silas know) and how the hybrid pups can be repaired and if any pups have been sent away and need to be recovered I am looking forward to the final chapter and epilog,

Chapter 11: Lemon Pie
scrubber6620 commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 11: Lemon Pie
Six years--six years-Things have not got well. Elisabeth is living one life, David another life Things finally came to a head. Elisabeth is leaving him. Their marriage is a failure without sex or anything now in common. There are ships passing in the night and day. She is fed up and sleeping with his partner David goes to a quack firm. It sounds terrible and over promises and is badly situated. He is robbed, beaten up and thrown out. He is too gullible and single minded that he did not want to see any warnings. I am surprised he was not killed. I wonder if these bad guys might have been involved in the killing 6 years ago. They seem to be the rough, mean type who would be willing to drive the car for a price and now want to hurt a guy who was getting too close to them. I noticed the earlier leads did not pan out. Elisabeth talked as if there was no evidence connecting any friends or associates to the killing. That seems too easy and that a killing is usually caused by someone close. The main person behind the attack might still be hiding the motive. We don't know how Celia and Frank are thinking ( are they still in contact with David and Elisabeth?) or even David's partner who has gotten Elisabeth. The only thing new was that the Honda was stolen a year before from the junk yard. It seems a need for such an undercover car was found before the attack happened. It would have had to be repaired and made drivable and at some point upgraded so the driver could survive a crash. So either one person planned this all or that person hired someone for a price to do the project and had the right car for the job. -
They needed a break. They got it. They let bouncer run and jump and be a fierce dog-like creature. Essell and Garjah have not shown their true natures wearing their normal clothes yet. Mom doesn't see to approved of what they choose to wear. But, still all the earther people could do is observe and question during the break.. Essell and Garjah are going to have to make their own fun and I hope they can do that in peace and quiet without being observed as lab rats. Mom and dad are being scientists and are seeing how these two help or hurt them professionally. I did not see much love or serious concern for Essell conveyed. Like drsawzall inquired, Sonez's failure to report Essell's disappearance should have caused concern and rated an investigation. Why has this issue not been raised and followed up? Is he too famous? Is the military so in charge that scientists can't get answers? Do the parents not want to rock the boat? I can see more and more why Essell is better off with Garjah that his parents or his old job

Let's see what clues and motivations evolve in future chapters. The author has us very intrigued with what so far has been revealed. Great work !

Simple, one of them hired someone to do it and thereby had an alibi.

True hate--OMG, now we have a serious motive for the killing. This chapter is chilling and well-written and appears to be the answer to "why." I can see two possible killers: Celia or Frank, her husband. I will start with Celia but many of the conjectures fit either one. Celia must be deranged to hold that intense, very powerful emotional pull which had to have festered for so long. She rejected the compassion symbolized by the statute. She skillfully and maliciously kept this instant, intense and deep hate from college hidden from both David and Elisabeth. She kept a friendship going. Celia married and found her mate, but that , if she is the lead killer, did not stop her hatred. She thought after the fateful dinner party They were…" so unlike her and Frank. And it’s not that Celia was upset that her marriage didn’t resemble that of her best friend. She knew Frank could never be David. No man could ever be David. It was just that envious longing at the pit of her stomach at night, long after Frank had gone to sleep, that kept gnawing at her insides. Yes, her life was fine, but when confronted with Elisabeth’s life, how could she be content? How could anyone? That’s why, when she got that fateful call later on that evening, the good part of her thought “what a tragedy!”, while the other secret part of her mused, “About time something went wrong in their perfect life." Note: She doesn't acknowledge any connection to or responsibility for the killing The perfect couple were going to have a child. Celia and Frank could not. Frank wanted to try IVF and Celia she no. She was pained as we are told. So far Frank's thoughts are not disclosed. What if he realized at some point in the 7 years of marriage that he never measured up in Celia's eyes to David and that Elizabeth and David set the standard and he and Celia could never be as good or as satisfied and happy. He wanted a child and Celia said no. He could read her mixed feelings and longing for David and develop his own hatred for the oh so perfect and always glamorous couple with a child they would not have. He could want to crush them. She (and he) apparently pretended to be their friend and found a way to destroy them. So far, she or he is succeeding BTW, a man like Frank, who might have an intermittent or unhappy sex life in marriage could turn to use prostitutes--like the one the detective intervened Three questions: How will she or he be found out ? Will she or he eventually break from the pressure or say something joyfully unguardedly to the wrong person like the Captain in the Canine Mutiny"-It was the strawberries!" She or he could reveal their true feelings at the wrong point now that the perfect couple has been destroyed Even if the motive is revealed, can guilt be proven? And then, what impact will this revelation have on David and Elisabeth? Their friend had their child killed.

Wow, Amber helps her nwely turned and uncertain werewolf son find acceptance. He was so worried. Itumak is in serious trouble. Darren hates him and is not happy about the queen wanting him to be a werewolf. Her doesn't want to have gay sex. He maybe a homophobe. He told Itumak he could not have sex until he was older, but Itumak has powerful sex drives when he shifts. I assume Darren this and is setting Itumak to fail and be kicked out of the castle and away from the prince. For now , the queen's illness ( cancer ?) is no longer progressing. Will she keep from dying? If she dies too early without training her son, I bet Darren will be in control of him ( without Itumak around) and the queendom.

The brothers have been lucky so far with no public discovery. They worked through their concerns and are going to post a vid that shows they sexually playing with their faces revealed. Billy is willing to work with them on a vid. Now Sasha just wants to know how much he could make and if pleased, then he is going to be an actor with them Imagine the hot vids that could be made with 3 or 4 guys playing. The brothers could add heat to their site with more guys and gain lots more customers. Leo continues to look out for Sammy and Jakey. They needed a turkey for Christmas. He stole it, though, so he might not be long for his new job. The porn guys are on a roll and will be expanding--What could go wrong?

It is up to Karl to show he has the natural physical ability to be a pilot. He worked on a farm so he is strong. But he is not fully educated or used to driving a car or tractor( I think). You could revise his background after the fact to add skills. It takes brains but also skills like coordination, strength, stamina, strong eyesight, etc.. I imagine planes in 1940 were much, much simpler than today's high tech monsters. At some point, Karl's physical skills appropriate for flying a plane will be tested and he will need to pass. The fight shows Karl has courage. He just needs to learn how to fight as well as hold his temper.
