  1. I've been on the museum tour a couple of times. I just love the look of the building and went on the ghost tour they did once. The custodial staff still say there are areas that are haunted. Hadn't thought about the exact location where Rob is from. I'm not 100% familiar with Boston and did a bunch of research. I'm thinking he is from the City proper, but with his likes of Lacrosse and Hockey, it will have to be a school that has both up there. Plant's Hockey program is considered a Club because it's outside of the standard School Sports authority. But it's a pure team in the High School league. I love how the Lightning is building up the Hockey community here in Tampa. Yeah, that was something that I was shocked about, was the capacity between the two school districts. When I graduated, I did with a 3.0 GPA and was ranked 50th out of a class of 750.
  2. Awesome. I'm about halfway through what I want in this chapter. So, hopefully just a few more days.
  3. Chapter 4 sneak peek. Raw, and not edited, so not final:
  4. You, and me both. I love the fact that the NHL "loaned" the cup to the Pirates.
  5. Thank you for reading, Potterslashfan. I'm glad you liked the chapter. It was written from the heart, and I hope that you and your brother can find reconciliation. Tibot is the reason why Adam has a zero-tolerance policy for hard drugs.
  6. Gotcha. Don't forget the discussion thread in the forums for this story.
  7. Too bad, Rob was here in January. He could have seen Gasparilla Pirate Fest and NHL All-Stars 2018 in the same weekend.

    Second Week

Another excellent week of poems, my friend. I had to come back because a couple of these really hit home. April 8th went right to the feels. But that ode to Pizza... I'm wanting a slice of triple meat now. April 14th... You've summed up what I've felt several times in my life.

    The Escape

Lord Andrew Tillerson, a noble in the occupied Barony of Branister, walked down the long sub-basement hallway. Dressed in his officer's uniform, he walked with the authority that both his rank and bloodline accorded him. He was a regal man and stood tall with raven black hair and hazel eyes. The sub-basement was cut directly from the bedrock at the base of a mountain and supplied steam, heat, and natural gas for the lighting to the military base built on top as an outpost. The flickering lights
  10. Done, look at by some friends. Gonna get it posted soon.
  11. Thank you for reading, deville. There's hope the rift can be mended, but it would take a long, long, time. And family counseling.
  12. No problem. I'm glad you are enjoying the story, and chapter four is in the works now.
  13. He is outdoorsy, so it's possible he is. Also, the UT Spartans practice their rowing in the River, and Bay right there.
  14. Huh. I had heard they were adult only. But, no. I've never seen the school bus out there.
  15. Rob is a little young for that, lol. As for a boat, Adam's philosophy is, "It's better to have a friend with a boat than to own a boat yourself."
  16. No one can resist a good Drag Show.
  17. Yuppers. They do those events down around Franklin Street all the time, semi-walking distance. And with those free in-town electric car rides, they can pick one up near the Garrison Bridge, and easily hit any downtown location. Kinda tempted to make Adam a member of the Sticks of Fire.
  18. Yeah, I've heard of them. Hamberger Mary's is where I go every so often. When I feel sociable that is. Most of Adam's wines are from the Winery out in Dover, FL, called Keel and Curley.
  19. All very true. In Adam's defense, he's feeling overwhelmed right now, and not sure where to go. It was a long Wednesday for him.
  20. Sadly, assaults on Gay Youth in the system or on the streets is fairly common. The CDC last reported on it in 2016, and the stats are heartbreaking. The soap inside the towel... there is a movie called Full Metal Jacket. It's a Vietnam War era movie with two parts. The first is Marine Boot Camp, the second is in the War. There is a scene where to teach a lesson to one of the screw-up recruits, the rest of the platoon, one gags him, four hold him down with a blanket, while the rest take turns beating him with a dry towel wrapped around a bar of soap. If you like war movies, it's fairly good.
  21. Thank you, miss molly. I really appreciate the feedback. Also, with you being a momma of teenage boys, I welcome ANY feedback you might have!
  22. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback, FanLit. There, is something there... but Duncan is straight.
  23. So true. I'm glad you are enjoying it.
