tim, the Birthday Poem was gorgeous. You can tell how much you value dughlas' friendship in it. Splendid. As for the second one. It strikes a chord with me as well. It feels like an author who has found their story was taken by another. I don't know the circumstances behind why you wrote it, but I'll stand behind you in support. (Also, the imagery of the elves, was cool.) -

Thank you for reading, and for the comment. In the real world, Maybe, or Maybe Not, is debatable. In this fantasy tale, as POTUS he has more information as to what the Agency has done, and is doing with operations going on in the USA. They are not a nice organization at all. Very much like the Knights Templar mixed with the Spanish Inquisition, and a dose of Nazi-ism. However, they are sanctioned by the Vatican Accords, and while POTUS can't kick them out of the USA, he can mess with them. That's his motivation in this. Also, No one, not even the Agency will break the Accords. Bend it some, in the gray areas, but No one will break them. Too much at risk for both sides. -
