Thanks everyone. Yeah, these research papers are something. Here is an example of what I've been doing, from my ENG 100 class. That was less than 1000 words, but shows the APA format we are required to use. Two of the research papers, are basically glorified book reports, because in addition to the two textbooks, we were required to read The Outsiders, and Lord of the Flies, and report on the socialization of the characters.

Also, 3 essay assessments of a minimum 1000 words each with research citations.

< Skips to the end > I hope all is well with everyone. Class is being a pain in the ass, but all is good so far. This week's manditory discussion questions for our partiticpation requirement, was about Primary and Secondary groupings, and we were to give examples of groups that we are in. This is one of the posts I shared with the class, and have gotten several positive responses.

Someone strangle me please. This class, Introduction to Sociology, has been the hardest yet. Mainly, because I'm struggling to understand this material. UGH!!! I discussed this class with my Therapist at my visit Wednesday, and I will quote her, "Sociology sucks, and most theories are out of date or just plain wrong. Psychology is better and easier to understand." Venting done for now... now to disappear while I try to get this crap taken care of.

Oh, and if you hadn't noticed... new Avatar. Just a pic I found on the net, but it is inspiring me to write a story around it. I go through Avatars, like some people go through underwear.

I like to throw them on a baking sheet, toss them in the oven at around 450* for a few mins, and covered in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Really good! Oh, shit... sorry to hear that Mac. Virtual hugs. Quite true. Some of my best friends, who are more family than my blood family, live over 1000 to 3000 miles away, for those here in the USA and Canada. It maybe digital, but the feelings are still the same.

For the vast majority of this week, I'll be Away From Keyboard (AFK). Week 2 of my Sociology class starts today, and I got my final grade for my American Government and History course. Passed with a 95.8%.

Both poems are terrific, but I react differently to each of them. The first one reminds me of love, and sharing an experience with someone as you travel across the cosmos. The visual of sitting on Saturn's Rings hits me the most. The second one makes me think and feel about environmentalism, and what we can do to help our world. Excellently well done, my Brother.
