I think I can honestly say that at least most of are and now we have to deal with this being the last chapter, it has been expected but it still has an effect, lol. But I think we can all find a way to safely deal with withdrawal in a safe way until the next episode, lol.

And so another episode in CJ's life comes to an end. Nothing overly major or earth shattering has happened to him or his family, it's really been fairly calm for a change. But it's the smaller things and the events that we see happening in the background that are significant, they are shaping the man and future politician that CJ is becoming. Dealing with meddling relatives can be tedious and does have an effect on all of us and our families, CJ and Owen are discovering that in spades so lets hope that Pam gets the help that she needs. Shootings in the USA are so common place these days that they are almost expected, it's sad but it appears to be the case, yet another lesson for the 'gun lobby' to learn from, but will they? probably not. The lasting effect of said shooting is the opening left on the Supreme Court bench, the surprise announcement that the former president is to take a well deserved place on the bench is marred by the horrific events that caused the opening. All of this and more is what is molding CJ into the future politician, and eventually president, that he will be. So maybe nothing directly significant happened to CJ and his family, but the important background events have made a difference. Thanks Carlos for another brilliantly written episode in CJ's life.

This may not mean much to many outside of the UK, but today we say goodbye, goodnight, God bless and we will will miss you to someone who many of us looked on as a national treasure and we are saddened by today's news. Mr Paul O'Grady MBE, Lilly Savage to many of us, passed away today at the age of 67. We all saw him as an entertainer extraordinaire in the guise of Lilly Savage and more recently taking to our TV screens under his given name. What many didn't realise was much he gave to the LGTBQ+ community in his staunch support and speaking up fo Gay Rights. He gave his 'all' and will be missed. Goodnight and sleep tight Paul, you will live on in our hearts. RIP Paul O'Grady MBE, 1955 - 2023.

How about the usual alien film story line. They attacked. We retaliated. They fled.

Easy flowing conversation over a very enjoyable dinner, combining fact and fiction with fictional characters and real people and keeping it topical with past and current events, that's a great writing skill that produces some of the best stories on GA. I don't know how you do it @Carlos Hazday but I love it, that's why I and many others enjoy your stories so much. Thanks again for another unique insight into CJ and Owen's lives.

Wow, another story full of that tension filled angst and youthful excitement of which Comicality is a master. This is another of his stories just waiting for everyone to read it, so go ahead and read the story not the review, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I'll start by saying this, I didn't like this story. I'll qualify that comment by saying this, I loved this story. You are a master of writing about the nervous tension filled angst of youth. I felt like the story simmered like a boiling pot, until it reached the climax of the kiss, that wonderful kiss that was shared by Brian and Fisher. Thanks for sharing your talent and another great story.

I don't know of any quick way, if anyone please of one please share. Although it's long and tedious I'm going down the copy and paste method. I'll also be keeping a record of the copyright ownership so that I know who has written each story that I record.

All I will say in answer is that there are many good stories on the site, I am taking my own measures to enable me to read them in the future.

Another great chapter showing CJ at his finest, to that point, and the interview format informing and educating us more all of the time. I like how CJ is maturing, in this chapter he shows us once again that not only is learning what battles to fight but also when and where to fight them which puts more weight behind him and his arguments. Pam will get another lesson in not interfering and is best to retain respect from her family, but will she learn from? Probably not. As is usual I'm looking forward to more of the story.

I sat and I thought what can I add to the other reviews to compliment this story, well the answer I came up with was nothing. What I can say with 1000% confidence is trust those reviews and read this story, it's great, yes I do recommend this story, so stop wasting time and read it.

What a compelling read, I didn't want to stop reading from the moment I started. Fate, or whatever you want to call it, brings together two men Jarren and Nash. They are clueless about their own and each others feelings until events part them for a short time, then they have the lightbulb moment and tentatively decide to follow their gut feelings and attraction. But it's not just about their budding relationship, enter Liam, now their are three damaged souls that come together. No it's not a ménage à trois, it's not that kind of story it is so much better. The best thing is for me to stop rambling on and for you to read, I promise you won't regret it. But I will warn you that low points may bring a tear to your eye and wether they do or not the the high points will, but they will be happy tears so keep the tissues handy. Now read and enjoy, I think you will agree this is a recommended read.

Favourite story? That is a hard one as there so many really good stories on GA, but one that I re-read earlier today does rank as being among them is by @Headstall, Lifting The Veil is a story that deserves a mention. Yes it does have it's dark moments but it 'lifts the veil' on abuse and shows that there can be a brighter future, It's a story that I recommend.

This is a stand out story that should be read by everyone. It has many dark points but ends up with a bright ray of hope. It leaves you wishing Chester well for his future and sad for his recent past. It also opens your eyes to a life that many keep hidden from the rest of the world. This is my second time of reading this great story, the first read opened my eyes, the second opened them even wider. This is a really good story that is very well written, I take my hat off to Gary's skills.

It's been a while since I first read this story, when I received a notification that someone had reacted to my earlier comment I felt the need to read it again. I'll not change my earlier comment as I still believe it is right and valid, but it did cause me to re-evaluate the story. It's still as impactful as the first time I read it. The Chester's of this world need a voice and all of the help that can be given, but when you look into the background of this story it shows that Mark was a victim too. Unfortunately like many of those that are abused Mark became one of those that abused others, yes there is truth in the statement that the abused often become the abuser, this story shows it and the abuser needs help too. But what we also need to do is be alert to the signs that are often there when a child is being abused, if we can recognise them and do something constructive about it we can affect more lives than we know. We need to treat the effects of abuse but we also need to treat the root cause too, if we don't then the cycle will continue, we need to break that cycle that is when we do even more good. This a one of those short stories that contains so much and is so well written that I believe it has earned it's place in our hearts and should be considered one of GA's classics.

WOW. What an amazing read. I was drawn into Gianni's world where he has to come to terms with losing his parents and is united with family that he doesn't know in rural Italy, somewhere that is so different to the London that he grew up in. James Carnarvon is so clever with his descriptions of the locale and Gianni's feelings that you feel as though you are there, witnessing the story as it unfolds from a first hand perspective. While the story is skilfully written and compelling it tugs on the heartstrings and makes you feel what Gianni is feeling. Read it, I recommend it, and did I say that I loved it? No? Well just to clear that up I loved it and I believe that many other will too, now get on and read it for yourself, you will not regret it.

Both previous comments have spoke about Pam's actions/reactions regards Liebe, I tend to agree with them and hope that Pam will get some constructive help in dealing with her overreactions to what is everyday life. I don't think her behaviour will ever go away completely but hopefully it will become more 'manageable' for her. I love the way in which we find out more background detail to the family, the interview is pure genius in the way it's portrayed. Thanks again @Carlos Hazday for another great chapter.

Just what the Doctor ordered, a new story about CJ and family. A nice gentle start to a typical day in CJ and Ozzies life, that's if they have typical days lol. I love reading about Liebe, she's kid with great character.

The mildly humorous title 'It's Not Easy Being A Tree' could be taken as misleading as the story is nothing to do with trees, but as you read you soon come to realise that the title is really a very appropriate synonym for the life of Woodward "Woody" Fields. Woody knows he is gay and keeps that part of his life a guarded secret, being a teenager he is subject to the same wants and desires of any teenager but secretly being gay makes it harder than it is for most other teenagers. We all make mistakes and Woody is no exception, but his mistake has some very serious consequences that he has to deal with. I'll not give anything more away, you need to read the story to find out more, you won't regret reading but you may become as absorbed by his story as I did. This ranks as being among the best of the stories on GA so stop wasting time and read, I recommend it.

WOW. A great story on a subject that unfortunately is as current today as the day it was written. Brilliantly written to create discussion and thought provoking reflection, it promotes two of the basic fundamental rights that we all have, freedom of speech and the freedom to live a peaceful life without fear. The story is well executed and the arguments are well articulated, more power to the Rogelio Cordoba's of this world.

Who says that the younger generation have no feelings or respect for the older generation? This story shows that the younger generation can and do build those friendships/relationships and those feelings go both ways. But I caution any reader to have the tissues handy when they read, no it's not a sad story, but you are almost guaranteed to shed a few happy tears when you read.
