The Vega's have suffered more losses than any family should ever have I would not even wish that on parents that are like Hunter's.Speaking of Hunter's mom would not go the funeral?What the hell is wrong with her?I'm pretty sure Hunter will do this but I hope he's around a lot for Mr and Mrs'Vega just like another son would be. -
Beautiful writing with Michael talking to Carlton in his sleep.And It's awesome that some of the boys went back to Europe to do the same thing Carleton did with help from The Hague.I noticed the last chapter said 56 and this chapter said 58 I hope you didn't unintentionally skip one.So common sense tells me the next chapter is about Robert

Excellent idea to post a chapter from Steven's POV.He could tell us things that Carleton can't such as what the other boys say in private conversations among themselves about the house Carleton,Maria etc.Im curious why house is empty now,Wasn't there a plan for when Carleton died?Maybe Robert is part of the plan.

If they think somebody is going to try to work there on behalf of the Sultan I would love to set that guy up on a sting operation make him think it is one of those kind of places The Sultan thinks it is and then have law enforcement listen in and arrest him then that would be a reason for The Sultan to be banned from the country. I don't know what you have in mind so I hope I didn't unintentionally do a spoiler lol.

Depending on what happens this could get governments involved.At the very least very unwanted attention.Short chapter but a lot in it.

It's a wonder more of those boys didn't have those nightmares like that one boy did.Carleton is right if somebody could help just one kid they are a hero.I even feel the same way about people who take on homeless dogs.

I'm a wee bit confused Mac and Ike said they were put in two different foster homes but it then sounds like they were in the same single location as the two younger boys.Sounds like a very badly run foster system.Gee what a big surprise.

I didn't remember the part about the boys climbing the fence.So they must of heard about Carleton's place through word of mouth after it was revealed in the newspaper.The last 5 boys showed up unexpectedly it may come to the point where they'll be no more room for anybody what then? Carleton would take that hard.

I only ask this because Carleton has never spoke of it but there is some kind of group insurance policy on these boys right?On one hand this may be the perfect place for the two boys with a lot compassion at this place but at the same time the mental damage that happened to these boys it's possible they may need a different kind of help with this place may not be able to give.Carleton will figure it out.

He said there were no seats yet in the theater. I think instead of traditional seats he should put sofas and bean bag chairs etc and carpet because kids like to lay down. Just a thought

I assume Alex dad was smart but this was NOT smart it would have been far better for Carleton to fly under the radar.One has to wonder if this is one reason why the house is empty these days.Michael's parent should be brought up on charges.Kicking a kid out because he's gay is bad enough but kicking a kid out because he gave money to another homeless kid that's mind boggling.

The way I see it Kevin should just go with it let Rory take the lead it seems to be going in the right direction.In a lot of these stories the person in Kevin's position does something stupid to complicate things but I don't see how he could it's looking good.I don't think even I could mess this up if it was me.

Lucky for Alex Carleton was around and had him checked out I have seen people like Alex before who could put it away and never gained an ounce I would thought nothing of it although I have heard of that condition Alex had.I hope it's not anytime soon but when this story ends do a epilogue so we know how the kids end up.I know it would be a long chapter 32 kids after all.

Working from home and building a movie theater both sound like great ideas.I had not thought about this before this chapter but what time frame is this set in?When they got all the books I realized there was no mention of going online which we all know the kids would do for school at least if not other things.I don't recall hearing computers being mentioned in this story

Bad timing for Bert to show up when he did just as Gus was going to get Joey out of the street that gesture could have led to some interaction with Gus doesn't Bert know it's Rita's job to mess things up for Rick.Speaking of Rita her blowing Rick a kiss like that in a crowd will keep the gossip going strong.The one thing Rita might be doing for Rick is providng a cover for Rick's secret .Mrs Lee's comments about Rick living with the power out etc. in a town like this others probably have made similar observations if not for Rita the gossip might be different

So Carleton reading to the kids can I assume all the kids are proficient in English?Or are some still a work in progress?I really would like to try one of Maria's very large hamburgers just have to make sure Alex is not around when I do

When Vic was crying over his parents leaving Hunter could have told Vic that he was lucky that he had parents worth crying over but Jaime's parents were like that for him.What's the address for the restaurant they went to I feel like going over there now and I'm in San Diego LOL -
I get that Carleton is protective of his boys but with all due respect just because Sal and Mohammed are a gay couple I don't think that warning was warranted.But I also understand after seeing all those sleazy people from before I guess Carleton just wanted to be clear.Another good chapter.

I saw a documentary on Pakistan for the most part at night time because of their religion you see very few women the street and almost never see a girl.So for these sex starved perverted men of the country what is there?Boys of course.To be fair officially the Muslim religion doesn't approve of that but these men who follow most of their religion and insist the females follow it to a T but this particular part about sex with boys goes out the window.Such hypocrisy.(Sorry to be so heavy handed)

Even if those men(and I use the term loosely)are ignorant or cynical about Carleton's presentation there still isn't anything remotely funny about that.Can't wait to see what you got planned.I bet you the men from The Hague was plenty p*****d off those are powerful guys you don't want mad at you.So no goat eh?They don't have room for another kid?(So sorry for the awful pun)

Hunter's grandparent are first rate.There's a saying in the entertainment industry that talent skips a generation so in Hunter's family being a decent person skips a generation.Great to see Vic
