Thanks for the answers, especially for the spoiler. All the pieces are fitting together now, like a 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle I finally got the border finished! Will Sergey be the Chewy to Castle and Black's Han and Luke? -

Sorry for the late comment, it's not a reflection of this complex chapter, but a casualty of several followed stories posted all at once. I read the chapter. I reread the last chapter. Then I read this again. So when Castle went back in time after the massacre and getting shot by Black, he was still shot. Does anyone but Black remember the massacre, Sergey?, Castle?, Meredith? How did Black go back in time? What happened in Black's life to make him hate himself so much? I'm kind of digging his "uniform". -
Poor petite Peter Pure pissed off the wrong future president! Loved the one-liners and the name-dropping. Doesn't everyone get invited to the Estefan's by their friend JLo?

It looks the planet will have 12 new inhabitants! I agree with @scrubber6620, they will have to unlearn a lot in order to survive. Hopefully Ned and others will be able to convince the earthlings that their planet is alive, it is not just a suitable replacement for earth.

The original pilgrims probably didn't intend to do evil either, the genocide of Native Americans happened anyway. Will the Captain find the planet? If he does, can be be convinced to leave them alone? Eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

I'm happy for Terry, Dan seems much more suited for him than Cliff. Dan appears to have had similar issues with his ex. As for the body, I thought the most important information from this chapter was the realization that all the listed people are still alive. He needs to discover the identity of a person they all knew who is not alive.

I loved everything about this chapter! A road trip can be a tight bonding experience, it sounds like a way to learn more about each other with built-in distractions.

I think Kalian learned more in this chapter than all the previous ones put together. I like Tyren, I think he'll be an ally.

I enjoyed this chapter, especially the ending! I'm gaining some respect for Kalian, he sees the need for a plan to deal with Lex. I hope the training will go as well as I'm anticipating. The king came off as a bit of a buffoon. Buffoons can still be dangerous.

Well the lordling is finally showing a glimmer of maturation and intelligence, just as he is realizing he is in over his head. It appears that Lex is more than just a dumb, abusive jerk. He is a dumb, abusive, power-hungry jerk with connections. Let's hope Kalian gets his head out of his ass quickly enough to save himself.

I'm trying really hard to stick with this, but I have such a difficult time feeling any sympathy for a person that would choose a monster like Lex, when he doesn't have to! This is not an abused spouse who has few options! What an idiot! If he really does marry Lex, I hope he gets exactly what we know will happen. He has a choice.

I couldn't agree more. I stopped reading this the first time around because I was fed up with Kalian's cowardice. He now has power and allowing someone he doesn't like in the first place control him was not enjoyable to read. I'm currently reading I hate this town and am getting over myself and learning to appreciate people who do not have my "take no crap" personality. I thought it was time to give Kalian another chance.
