I'm very much enjoying this story, whether it focuses on Jeff and Paul, Raymond and Daniel, or the princess. I just checked the views -- over 2400. Still not enough, but a lot better than 3 years ago. This is a hidden gem!

On my god, did I already say Matt was oblivious last chapter? I need another word for most oblivious to the millionth degree!!!! He just casually dropped the info that he's leaving with Aidan for the whole summer - AND - moving out when he gets back to the guy that's in love with him, in love with aidan, and is Aidan's primary 24/7 caretaker. Why would he be upset? Seriously? I'm starting to think the differences in their maturity levels are too much for them to make this relationship work.- 37 comments

I am sooooo glad I didn't have time to read this before going to work this morning! I am mad at Zoltan, mad at Heinrich, sad for Rick, sad for Gus. On one hand, you have me all discombobulated so I'm mad at you, on the other hand, you have me caring so much for these characters I love you. I'm going to go eat dinner and calm down.

You were preaching to the choir 😁! I am a self-confessed liberal heathen, which makes me quite the minority in my very conservative county. My mom and sister both go to a moderately liberal church (no hate speech, more love your neighbor type preaching). I have no issues with them and they have no issues with me. I think my moral compass is as strong as theirs, I just don't believe in their mythology.

Wow, big steps for both our heroes! Cyn's going to be very stressed at the meeting, but he's been handling stressful situations a lot better than he used to.

Ok, so first of all, I loved the chapter. If you read this comment, you probably read my comment/rant a couple chapters back (defending the scene that precipitated the fall-out). I promise I didn't read ahead when I wrote that. Apparently great minds think alike, because you used very similar arguments in this chapter. Hey, maybe I have a little Julie in me.

I loved the hot scene between Jeff and Paul. I believe it was just that -- a scene. This was not abusive, coerced, or humiliation. It was not a life changing decision to begin a master/slave relationship. Just a fun, exciting evening for two committed adults. I don't understand the difference between condemnation of gay sex in general and the type of sex two (or more?) consensual adults have. Who am I to approve what people who are not me do in bed (or on sheepskin)? Ok, I'm off my soap box. Add me to the list of Larry & Runt fans.

Unlike a couple of frustrated back seaters, I finished this chapter a very satisfied person! My suspicion of brotherly love was confirmed and a horrible mother got a public dressing down. Only real problem was a Maria drought.

Great chapter. I love seeing bullies get their due, I'm looking forward to the potential takedown. Really loved the history, more please. Really, really loved the hot sheepskin rug scene, much more please. And finally, I'm excited about Christmas getting here. I feel like 24's Keifer Sutherland is going to show up and join Ilya's soldaty. You could have called this "1 week".

I enjoyed this chapter, it felt like an interlude between the shootings and promised political drama in our future (I am assuming things will not run smoothly). I liked that Danny became Daniel as the chapter progressed. Oh, and I didn't miss the line where Raymond said his mother even dated Jeff's father. Hmmmm?

Danny and Raymond just cranked up the heat! I liked another reader comment about Joe running for mayor, great idea. I'm reading this many years after completion, so am fighting the urge to sit on the couch and binge-read this all day long!

From the way Paul looked at Raymond Jeff and Joe, and the green eyes, I'm definitely guessing they are blood related. I'm also guessing we will have to wait for the answers. I'm loving the story.

Oh thank god!!! Matt is the most oblivious character that I have ever liked. I hope he gains self-confidence, or this will be a very unbalanced relationship. I have to remind myself that he is still only 21.- 50 comments

I suppose I have no choice but to be patient. I forgot to mention the whole weirdness with Vin sleepwalking? possession? with the feminine voice. What the hell? Doesn't our hero have enough on his plate? He's got 3 sparring matches, a challenge with a douchey enforcer, and let's not forget Stefan and evil mystery alpha hanging around in the background. -

I am another non-facebooker. Part of it is that I don't genuinely like very many people (certain GA authors excepted), and even if I do like them, I don't care that their poodle just got groomed or that they just drank a non-fat soy caramel macchiato. Back to the story, I am going to "listen to the perfect" and be happy that Rick is off the hook. Rita reeled in another sucker. If it turns out to be Willy, then I think the two are made for each other, both predators in their own ways.

I hope Brandon's internal war ends in peace, even a cease-fire would be an improvement at this point. He couldn't have had a worse introduction to becoming lycan. After all he's been through, he's lucky to be alive.

I read this several years ago on another site and remember it as being one the most emotional and complex stories I have ever read. I am thoroughly enjoying the re-read.

Great chapter, I love the verbal sparring between Seamus and Matt. I am encouraged by the little show of jealousy Seamus let out, maybe he's not just into older guys?
