Seems this ship has original Earth engines, which are better than the ones built on planet. And they had to adapt sonar tech after not being able to maintain some more advanced tech for searching below the surface. It is interesting that the orx are air breathing beings, and may be more intelligent than initially considered. There was a Star Trek movie with whales communicating with humans showing that they were very intelligent. Even thinking about the current research into marine mammals, they have very complex speech. Love the growing relationship between Nico and Jem they both seem to be attracted to each other. It’s nice they are building a friendship first. Jem’s idea of protecting the deck seems like something good to do, and was acted on right away.

So glad to see this chapter. These guys obviously care for each other and for Jeha bringing Axel yo meet his mother would be a good thing in many ways. He just needs to reach out and ask.

Alex forgives Blair and they are back to being friends. And as much as Alex doesn’t want to admit it his brother really cares about him, and does have a clue about what neither of the guys are yet to admit to each other.

Zain is loved by both Hadrian and Garth. What will Raad decide about his brother? Garth will find the video and show it was self defense. Bullies come from Bullies typically, the parents need to learn a lesson too. Did Raad help Fleur gain some clarity about Elliott who is still in love with her, but inept at expressing himself? great chapter.

Amazing ending. Thanks for this story of a love that lasted a lifetime. And continues in the next generation.

So this reinsertion of Julia into Oscar’s life will be interesting, especially since she had appeared to have jus abandoned him earlier. Was she coerced int this other relationship or was there something she just did not want to continue with him? He never got a response after she disappeared. And the fact that she had his children is very troubling. Hopefully this will be cleared up soon. Especially since they will be in protective housing at Oscar’s place.

Pictures and a dog, all waiting for Kai to come home too. Adam really put in the efforts with the photos. And the letter, so vulnerable. It’s even motivating Kai in his physical therapy.

Jamie is getting cock blocked by this inspector. Are they part of express or something else. Are the wanting to be in a relationship with Jamie? Strange way to approach it. The multiple Mitch band is interesting. Is this at the same time as Rusty and Matty’s time at Sunny Hill? I thought they graduated and moved away, but could be wrong about the moving….

Kevin having to give a BJ to get close to the stage the last night before he gets pulled int Roadie duty. The connection with the other band members grows quickly. Then being asked to go back to the hotel with them. Seems his following this dream is turning out ok. Looking forward to where this goes.

Jacob choosing not to find out who his parents were with his memories removed. Seems like a tragedy for all the efforts they went through to save him. Who opened the portal and pushed him through?

A better day for Brandon. Beach and naked surfers…

Kai’s reply letter with a photo, wants t know more about this man who replied to the letter to his father, and is now living in the home he grew up in. Lovely depiction of the house and the rooms, the floor plan helps.

Chapter Eighteen + Epilogue
VBlew commented on Mike Carss's story chapter in Chapter Eighteen + Epilogue
This was a beautiful, even if sad, ending. Nathan did finally reason he was dying, and let himself be the sacrifice for the Daemon to return home. A beautiful description of what was through the portal. Not the typical underworld picture of a desolate place. Brohm is grieving the loss of his love, and does have good memories to remember. Cormac’s advice on the daily task is a good one. Very well done story. -
I think the foil packet falls into the “or whatever “ category Justin remarked on with his showing up out of sorts, that his parents are used to. There is something there between these guys, even if just a friendship. Justin's comments about gays don’t let on anything about his own sexuality…

Big Plans for Country Retreat
VBlew commented on quokka's story chapter in Big Plans for Country Retreat
This seems like a great use of this secret facility. It is a surprise that so many friends are working for intelligence agencies. -
Beautiful letter, literally, from Adam to Kai “Commander” what’s up with that? Something for them to explore. Nice beginning to their relationship. Also the condolences on the loss of his relationship with his boyfriend should portent to his openness. The fact that Kai is so worked up about a reply say there are feelings there….

Wow, I hope the jerk who did the damage is in jail. What kind of “jealous boyfriend” would resort to something like that. It seems like Simon really likes Jim, but Jim is so down on himself that he doesn’t get it. Looking forward to this story.

Love the great family dynamics. Robert is an excellent father looking out for his possibly naive son. Helping to take care of him in case something happens at the meeting with Mr Black. And Andy was good to open up about what he is doing. Even if evading his mother’s inquiry. looking forward to Saturday

Good thing for Hunter that he has Oscar to help him through the death of his Mother.

Curious dream, then finding and rescuing the strange creature. What will it become? Where did it come from?
