Wylan is learning more from the book. It doesn’t seem to be Braille like we have today. It is teaching him, inviting investigation, which started as a spark in his palm. Very interesting.

I still don’t trust Sev, he continues to come between Trillion and Ember. He is Helmsforth after, if there is any long there is still unknown. He was able to stay at the castle because he’s friends with Trillion. I agree Trillion is acting a lot like Kieran in the first book. Those bonds are powerful. The question will be if they get attacked, what will it do to them?

The sleepover is going well. It’s interesting that the play has this love triangle, and Charlie’s dad had a love triangle in his youth. Will be interesting to see what happens in the play. Sounds like divorce is coming, since Charlie’s mother is so adamant about Charlie not being like his father.

Know your strength and exploit the other’s weakness. The count had never had a street fight in his life. If all of the other knights are like this, they’re going to get slaughtered when the have to fight in actual battle. Darian was injured, but lived, and now has all of what was the counts, someone needs to keep track of the winnings. I’m betting the armor won fit Darian, but could be traded for better fitting armor for himself.

Neven is almost as bad as Fenn blindly following the country’s leader… Yarima is a decent person wanting peace, and a place where her brother can be open about who he loves. Hopefully Zain isn’t tortured too much. Maybe Fenn will get there to rescue him?

Zac can see Skailer, because he has so much of Q’s essence in him. At least Jacob won’t be all alone in knowing about him. If they are bound together then does Jacob have more power because of that? Interesting twist about his parents. Can he help get Q back?
