Yes, Mac is already becoming annoyed with Devin about his withholding the information until later, but he always comes clean, eventually. And the reason I mention the movie The Princess Bride was I knew that way the readers would get a good idea about what Mr. Hyde looked like - only better looking. 😁 Some may have remembered Andre the Giant from his time in the wrestling ring, but I felt more would get the picture better from the movie.

Devin is well aware of the cameras, that's why he transitioned behind the building first, but you're right, there may always be a camera he isn't aware of. As far as the buildings, I believe Devin just made up his mind because of the number of students in the high rise, as opposed to the smaller building, but we shall see if his theory plays out. Thanks for pointing that out, Terry.

Devin is slowly coming clean and I believe Mac loves him enough to give him the chance to do it at his own pace. We'll have to wait and see how this works out.

Devin kicking Mr. Rude's ass may have been a possibility, but seeing this is only orientation, I don't believe he wanted to stand out just yet. That may be something he'll do at a later time. Who knows?

And their problem probably doesn't have to do with their studies in school either. This is not an easy time for young gays and the politicians aren't helping any. I pray that the current situation improves soon and the LGBTQ+ community no longer has a target on their backs, literally.

You never know. He may have learned his lesson and maybe not, but since he believes Mr. Hyde may still be around possibly he'll mend his ways, or at least change them temporarily. But that doesn't preclude them from running into other rude, obnoxious, and inconsiderate asswipes.

Chapter 9 – Orientation As soon as we woke up the following morning, we got dressed and went out for to get a bite to eat. After that, we made our way over to the building listed in our letter as to where Freshman Orientation was going to be held. When we signed in, we were handed a packet that contained several items, and this included a name tag we were to wear, a student handbook, and another map of the campus. Unfortunately, I've yet to find or reach Lotusland. I've come close a few times, although it never lasted. -
I will do my best to get to Blackbird Singing, but right now I'm busy working on another story and preparing to attempt something for the secret author contest. I'm one of those people that takes a long time writing each chapter, because not only do I write it, but I rewrite it, and then proofread it a minimum of three more times before I'm satisfied. And with the book I'm currently posting, I totally reorganized and rewrote that, moving parts around to hopefully make it more interesting. I'm surprised I've been able to take this much time out so I could get to the Poetry Anthology entries, but as you see, I got to them late and it's taking me a long time to get through all of them.

What an interesting and beautiful look at a collection of old coats you've had, or possibly still have. It reminded me of two jackets that belonged to my grandfather that I took after his death. I still have them 30 years later, and now I'm looking at them in an entirely new light. Thank you for sharing, Parker.

Take a Leap! was sad, yet hopeful and presented a positive message. My Thai was very lovingly written and very romantic. I'm glad you found someone who makes you complete. Congratulations to both of you.

From making me hungry in chapter one, to adding the spice and making me turn on the fan after reading this one. It was very romantic and humorous at the same time. Loved it.

You should have included a warning at the beginning, "Only read this on a full stomach, otherwise you'll be raiding the fridge or running out to the store for snacks - possibly both." It was a fun read and I thank you for sharing.
