...I wish there was a combination of a hug-n-heart 'like' to give this... ❤️ ❤️
  2. I care even if I can’t know what it’s like to be you – Norwegians and Finns are very foreign to me! According to @Timothy M.’s favorite documentary cartoon, SatW, Brother Norway always has a fish in his hands or on his head – and Brother Finland is a dour sharpshooter who Sister Sweden loves to humiliate. Of course, Brother America is realistically portrayed as fatter and more clueless than anyone else! ;–)
  3. The good news is that there’s no quota. There are no limits to the number of people who can identify as Transgender, genderqueer, or non-binary. You’re not taking anything away from anyone else. You are who you are. You are whatever identity or identities you chose for yourself. It’s much more important how you identify than how others identify you. You can’t let others decide for you. No matter what you do, there will alway be people who will misidentify you. Some of us might misidentify you as Swedish, Dutch or even German! That doesn’t mean that you are suddenly Swedish, Dutch, or German, you’re still going to be Norwegian-Finnish. Even if Sweden or Denmark decide to conquer Norway again! ;–) I’m sure writing has helped you define who you are. Even if this posting hasn’t helped this time… ‘–)
  4. My parents were pretty good. They tried hard. But I was very close to the edge (by being Gay) of their conditional love, but in their minds, I was defying their god.
  5. At least we know that the FBI won’t be sending Harris to investigate the mass murders! ;–)
  6. The tag ‘were-creatures’ makes me wary, but I’ll try reading this story because you wrote it – I can’t guaranty I’ll finish the story though… ;–)
  7. Actually, I liked that they were forced to stop when they were all hot and bothered! I think Aidan is rushing too fast to do things he’s not really ready for. He’s obsessed with his V-card when it’s really more important to proceed slowly and carefully. ;–)
  8. Piggies shouldn’t dream of being aren't bunnies. Giraffes can swim, but they won’t win contests against dolphins. Mice can run, but there’s no contest when they compete with greyhounds. Be the best little piggy you can be, mascara and all! (Just don’t go ‘Wee! Wee! Wee!’ all the way home, please.) ;–)
  9. I think Timmy is punishing me for all those pitchfork threats by only referencing Jazz! ;–) I’m beginning to think chapter 99 is optimistic for arriving at Prom. I’m thinking chapter 666 might be more realistic! ;–)

Why do you think I’m always suggesting the blending of characters from different stories? ;–) I’m forever getting character names confused from one story to another! ;–)

I don’t know about Timmy, but I’m on Disability and am not working due to clinical depression and anxiety. I’d rather not have the mental health problems, but they do let me get more reading in than most people. :–(
  12. @BHopper2 Thanks for the recommendation
  13. You’re going to get a couple of horses? ;–)
  14. I hadn’t thought about checking the size of the files! I ‘print’ the chapters to pdf so I can read them in the Kindle app on my Mac or iPad later. My files look a bit smaller than double, but part of that might be accounted by content that isn’t duplicated in the double chapters… ;–)
  15. I don’t do word counts, but it seemed like the concluding four chapters were just as long as usual – only the epilogue was shorter. ;–)
  16. Sorry this is a bit tardy in coming, but C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! ! It couldn't happen to a nice and more deserving fellow
  17. Changes, Again is a wonderful conclusion to the story of Louis & Don begun in Changes (you’ll want to read Changes first, if you haven’t already). Louis & Don have adjusted to their lives together and are suddenly presented with a new challenge. After some discussion and lots of consideration, they make a decision that they are both comfortable with. ;–) In this new story, we learn more about the two men and their families. The love they share is apparent as you read each chapter. We meet new characters including Louis’ mother and aunt. ;–) As usual with stories written by my many Canadian friends, I learned lots of new things about the country that shares my state’s abbreviation (CA). But they almost always seem to be food-related! ;–) While I will miss Louis & Don, I look forward to @Mikiesboy’s next story! ;–) And, ta-dah, no spoilers! ;–)
  18. While I’d love to read ‘another book,’ you are the author and I have to respect your decision. ;–) It is good to see the three boys bonding with Doreen and Laura over the holidays, especially Max and his Gran. As I was reading these chapters, I was reminded of Closet Monster, I guess because of the Newfoundland and Labrador setting and because Max and Closet Monster’s Oscar both go on to study art. ;–) I’m glad that they were able to successfully create a real family. I will miss Louis, Don, and Max. But I’m glad we were all able to share in their struggles and triumphs! ;–) Thank you, Tim!

Some of us are like that. And Gay men tend to dress better than straight men of a similar age. My best straight female friend always tells me I look good – but maybe that’s in contrast with her boyfriend who doesn’t dress particularly well. I always feel very unstylish when I’m with my Gay friends…

I guess Ted would not be impressed by someone else’s garden rooms. It’s a good thing he won’t be invited to critique them. ;–) Wes will probably have better luck making connections through volunteering. Even if everyone he meets isn’t LGBTQ, they might have friends who are. Wes would probably have more in common with Tony’s stylish sister. ;–)

    Chapter 5

Clue: think about @Ronyx’s historical record on HEAs… ;–)
  22. And your story is great, A! Thanks for taking the prompt challenge
  23. I’m pretty sure @Timothy M. has stopped raiding Celtic villages… ;–)
  24. I would think that dealing with medical issues like the ones Max (and Don) had to deal with would be a very stressful job. As we found out a few chapters ago, things don’t always work out as well as they did for our boys. So the hospital staff needs to celebrate the victories and happy outcomes to remind themselves what they are attempting to achieve with all of their patients. It is understandable that they’d fall in love with someone like Max who had such a good attitude during his recovery despite the losses he suffered in addition to his physical injuries. ;–) Max is a very outgoing young man. I’m much shyer and risk averse. Had I attended a wedding where I didn’t know any of the other guests, I would have been very unlikely to have approached anyone else, even if they were my age. And I can remember being in similar situations as I was growing up, but I always had my younger brother with me (who would have been the one approaching the other kids). ;–) I think Max was incredibly generous to his Aunt Froggie. Why should she think that she deserved anything at all? Max should have offered her some sort of family heirloom or memento rather than cash. Having her turn down a sentimental gift would make it very clear she was only in it to get cash. But Max didn’t want to suffer through a trial and he’s much more kindhearted than I would have been. I guess there are times when paying off a blackmailer is worth it to avoid further trouble. ;–) Max is adapting well to his new situation and new foster patents. I can see him being used to counsel young patients who are having a more difficult time coping. He would make a good peer counsellor for the hospital – maybe that can be Plan B! Some of us are less adaptable to change than Max is. ;–)
  25. But everybody (including Angels and Cupids) loves you, Timmy! ;–)
