Really like this chapter, so glad that Casper is going to be a nature mage. With all the focus on technology and science, people forget that few things in the known universe can be as powerful, wonderful, and deadly as nature...

Really enjoyed this chapter, loved the interlude before the trip, nice to see that passion is alive and well. Love how Vincent can carry Mason and travel that way, what a blast, and helps him build up his strength as well. I actually get a good feeling from Alpha Richard Drego; maybe he can help Vincent find something to use against Stefan. He needs to take Vincent and Mason to the Sugar and Spice Diner on Reading, the pancakes are to die for... Love how Kaplan ended up handling Wagner; maybe he needs to be slapped down harder than I thought. Hope Stacy isn't more than she seems; I still think that Stefan could easily have a second agent in that area, and wouldn't she be perfect for that...

First glimpse of Father, and he is clearly more dangerous than anyone can imagine. Would be very easy to become addicted to how he makes you feel. Casper and Freja are an interesting twosome at the moment; Freja has much to teach and Casper has much to learn...

Tasha may really like Casper; but not sure she is going to be fond of him sharing her money without permission, LOL... Freja sound like a blast, can't wait to see where this goes.

Less than two weeks until the death of the Czar; and it was truly a dastardly bad dead indeed. Glad to hear that most of those at home are doing well; know he will have two sons that are both Viscounts at least with his father in laws death. Caroline will make a good start of setting his estate to right; but George may need to have a certain influence there as well. I don't understand George's issue with Caroline sending on Bertie's letter in that manner. What if the letter had some information that would have proven troublesome to overcome or some tidbit about military issues in India that could have fallen into the wrong hands. Caroline made the right decision on that matter. Just a few days from the fall of the government in London; Pitt would be forced from office, officially because of the Catholic issue but much like the letters indicated there were a myriad of issues. He would be out of office for only a few years before coming back in 1804 as Prime Minister again. Truly sad to hear about Chartley, I truly believed at one point that he might have been George's one; but maybe it isn't over for him yet. We can all hope. Any update from you is so welcome; but those in the Bridgemont series truly bring a moment of real joy to my day... Bravo...

Have to wonder if the tracker will be back at work soon; and who will he be tracking??? Glad Tasha was able to escape before the Father got there; and glad that James finally said it out loud, sometimes that can actually be very freeing. I hope that Casper is going to be okay.

OMG, I truly hate some people. Some humans just should never be parents no matter what....

Damn, not only is Brandon in danger from the fires; but now he has to worry about his husband in Iraq. Not that he wasn't already worrying; but any attack or upswing in violence gives you extra reasons to freak out...

Well, powers seem to run in some families; but Bex will also have the gift/blessing/curse made by the elf...

Tasha is more of a blank on this for me but nothing about her actions dealing with the Family has made sense to me. Both Casper and James have responsible adults in their lives that we have seen no reason for them not to trust. James has a family that loves and supports him; and Casper is tied to the therapist in some way, so neither of them have a legitimate reason not to seek out help. Even a five year old would realize they are just digging themselves in deeper and deeper.

Honestly, I know these three kids are suppose to be the good guys on some level; but truthfully, they are all to stupid to live...

Once Casper made his decision, I am not sure there was much else he really could have done. Don't like the idea of the Family getting to know what he looks like though. Hope that Lewis does just let Casper go. Hope that James got these messages; but until he decides to trust someone that makes sense, not sure what he can really do.

I just cannot even fathom having to go through something like that, and then knowing the next day was going to be the same....

D'gar worries so much because S'brin doesn't seem to worry at all. Great chapter, flowed really well, can't wait for the next update.

Okay, with what happened to James, this is so not the situation he needs to get involved with until he is more under control of how he feels about what happened to him.
