    Chapter 44

Granger was perhaps more honest in sharing his opinions than he planned, but it was perhaps for the best, especially if it made the future tsar a bit more cautious with his fleet. Somehow I'm wondering if we will get a bit more from the perspective from Daventry. More please!
  2. Ritch, I mean Romeo, is developing a reputation and he does know how to party. As long as he keeps being a leader and keeps his grades up, and has Miranda to keep him in line,he should be fine. As someone else already mentioned, the chapter was a fast read leaving us consumers wanting more!
  3. I didn't realize Valkerie was older than Wildone!
  4. So is Heinrich the model S, Turbo, or GTS? And, we want pictures! In any case, it's certainly a step up from Defiant. Glad to see the family get together for the holidays. Ritchies' aunt fit right in and the dads are off to Wyoming. Great chapter which left me wanting more!

    FAG

Justin's dad is an ass! His mom is a busy-body with a like minded friend. She's not as bad as the dad, but that's not saying much!
  7. I'm betting Justin's past is a bigger problem in his own eyes than in Craig's.
  8. Expectations met. Neither came up short!
  9. Good looking and a bit cocky too. How can Craig resist?
  10. At my age, I could use a bucket...or two!

    Chapter 9

Yes Will has a privileged life and knows how to work it, just as he explained it to Connie. His redeeming factors include he doesn't like bullies and doesn't suffer fools gladly. More please!
  12. Interesting and action-filled chapter which despite the peril, ended with some slightly positive news. Poor Defiant saw his share of road adventures and his demise was swift. Ritch continues to score and Ed is enjoying being his wingman! Will remains a good buddy too! Now I'm looking forward to next week's chapter, as I still want more!
  13. That's why moderation by administrators is so important on this site.
  14. Well done! You covered a lot, but I still want more!
  15. At the beginning of April I'll be retired 15 years. Went back to work Tuesday thru Thursday in early January 2007 and finished in December of that year. During my career, I was lucky to be able to work a flexible schedule with lots of overtime so 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 M-F and 6 to 2:30 on Saturdays. So 58 hours most weeks. Since 2007 my schedule has been a lot looser and I rarely got out of bed before 9 a.m. or back to bed until well after midnight. That is until my grandson came along in 2018. Now he is here most mornings at 6:30 and we have him until 5:30 to 6 in the evening. At age 73, I think I do pretty good to keep up with him most of the time...but I am exhausted most nights.

    Chapter 43

I read your other offering first because it's a cold night and the appeal of Northern Exposure was less enticing. However, this is the better story with more depth and context. More please!

    Chapter 8

Poor Connie still hasn't a clue to just how connected Will and his family are. Great to see another chapter!

    Nightfall

Well shit! Shit! Shit. I wasn't surprised, just very disappointed and so sad for two kids. When I got to the paragraph where Avery approached the drug dealer, I had to stop reading and let it lay for a couple of hours as I knew it would have dire consequences.
  19. I just sent him home at 7:00 pm local time and he was here a total of 55 hours this week! And yes, I'm exhausted. He is one very active little boy who I've spoiled!
  20. Things were going too smoothly, so Donovan adds some drama...or is he just an annoyance? Again, my only complaint is that I want more!

    Escape?

Lee is not only getting used to feeling safe, but is getting comfortable and liking some of life's amenities like a clean, warm, comfortable bed.... He is also learning how to cook and appreciates it takes some effort to do it right. Even Greg, despite his reservations is extending support at Lee staying and made him a deal on a cabin. Avery is just happy to have a friend...and is looking to get closer.
  22. Wendy...made me think of Peter Pan. Loved this chapter. My only regret is that it came to an end!
  23. Erection, engorgement, tumescence and now we have elephantiasis for the exceptionally well hung...

    Keeper

Greg's observation that Avery didn't appreciate his foster parents is clearly true. But given Avery's history, that is not surprising. I think Bill is right to be worried, but I also think he and Greg and Clay are really powerless to have any influence over the way Avery feels about Lee. They can try to keep them safe, but that can only go so far... The nightmare that Lee had was a reflection of the nightmare he has been living and hopefully he is beginning to realize that fact.
