As I expected Tyler insisted and got clued-in about Kage and the theory about why they were shot at. Ty also let Kage know he was Elijah's brother and to not hurt him too bad. I think the theory is only partially correct, as are the theories floating in the comments. I think the laptop was held as insurance to keep Eli safe from abduction. With it not found, Eli was ordered offed. Now that has failed and I expect friends from Montana to show up. The carnage could add up!

George can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but will find a way to make the best of the situation. I suspect Lady Kendal left him a pile and her brother nothing. As noted by others, George is good at collecting strays. Anson may find himself out of his depth if he isn't careful.

Getting through the memorial service and reception was grueling. The supper with Ty's family and decompressing on the swings was needed. Kage is in the shadows but makes his presence known timely, especially knocking them down before bullets went zinging past. And yes, I'm fairly certain Tyler finds out a bit about Kage sooner than later.

Will got Claire to see the why of John's choice and realize just what she could lose. The foundation is going to be bit more work to make changes and Grand will help. Will is surprised by his dad, but shouldn't be, because Brad always uses money as power. Since it no longer worked as a control, now he's using it hoping to buy good will. More please!

Poor Elijah, he has a memorial service and funeral to prepare for as well as the added job of having to clean up the basement which the rented crew missed. He also has this insane attraction to the bad-boy Gage and now must consider the possible connection between the pups and the laptop. And here we are yucking it up about snacks... And yes I am not immune to a bit of laughter to get a break from the macabre, however, I'm really looking forward to the next installment.

Brad just can't help being Brad. I'm beginning to wonder if he likes eating humble pie? John at sixteen is no Will at sixteen, but he deftly deflected the conversation and then pointedly skewered his dad. Another fascinating dinner in the grand manse...and no, I never get tired of them. I too thought the '55 Chevy could hold the key to the laptop, but also agree it could be a red herring. The chemistry between the two is undeniable. More please!

Kage seems a smidgen besotted and perhaps that's a good thing. He was surprised about Sebastian and that is something else he needs to clarify. Elijah had an attraction to Kage, so maybe they can work together.

Well finally! And that was the bit of good news I was hoping for!

Their hearts are fragile and more than a bit worse for wear. Scott is feeling responsible and worried that Luc's piano playing days may be over. Josh isn't in a good place either. I think the story could use a little good news.

The third attempt is disheartening. Prior attempts mean he was put into counselling which failed. The scene with Brandon and his dislike of Josh together with Josh saying Brandon's brother is gay is another point of drama in a story overflowing with it.
