These are short little one-shots/ficlets set in the Tears of the Neko Universe.I've been perusing the writing prompts and using them as a way to get me back into the 'neko mindset' to write the sequel. They are set after Tears of the Neko (unless otherwise indicated)--so it would help to have read that story first of course to be familiar with the characters. Most are sort of funny and silly, as I'm playing around with the characters.

When I was very young I didn’t question what I didn’t know.

I remember the first time I knew I was different, unique even. Maybe I had clues before hand, but nobody ever sat me down to spell it all out. Until, Charlie. He moved into the house next door. It was empty for most of my life back then, but it had the best shade from the heat of the sun. That’s how we met.

Two brothers move through life together, shuffled around from pillar to post. Trouble follows them everywhere and all they really have in life is each other. Clinton plays with his dice and always has a plan, Morgan always does what his older brother tells him.

They leave their rough childhood behind and get caught up in the escapades of South American drug trafficking. Clinton will do anything to keep them together, but it is Morgan who pays the price. Drugs, prostitution, and encounters with no one they can really trust. There is one goal, somehow to make it back to the States.

When confronted with his family’s bigotry, Reece is faced with the first of many choices. He can continue to tolerate the caustic atmosphere or he can walk away and finally focus on making himself happy. His cousin’s friend Dave unintentionally becomes the catalyst that forces Reece to make a choice. He can only hope it's the right one.

Sick of the long drawn out dispute, Hamysh T Lloyd recruits his grandson, to lead a project that will hopefully put a stop to the dispute and bring harmony to the region once more. The problem is, that the project requires the authorisation of six sperate nations as well as the UN's International Court of Justice. The name of the Project is; Bermuda Triangle Project, thought of by a passing comment made during the planning of the project.

They both have secrets they want to hide. Chris isn't out and his break-up with a waitress at the restaurant his father owns, and he's interning at, results in a lot of pain for someone else. He has to take care of Niel as much as he has to hide how much he wants him. There's something about him that draws Chris in. But Niel's hiding too, from some very bad ... people. Will he have the courage to tell Chris everything and will Chris still want him afterward?

Eli Cole is a high school junior who plays hockey, has tons of friends, get great grades, and does everything he's supposed to do. But when he meets Viz McCoy, everything changes. Viz is the complete opposite of Eli, he's shy and considered a loser, because of the way he dresses and the things he's into. The two become friends and find that they have more in common than anyone would have thought. But what trouble will come from the new found friendship?
